《Falling For Him. kth ✔》Never let go

"Because, I didn't want you to treat me different. Because, I didn't want you to feel uncomfortable with me. Because, I wanted to get close to you"
His words knocked the air out of my lungs. What is he trying to do now? Why is he messing with my head?
"My turn ! " he said, pulling me out from my thoughts.
"How old is your sister ?" he asked with that weird smile again. AND HE IS BACK. This moron !! seriously.
"Thirteen" I said with gritted teeth. I wanted to kill him right now. But I have to let him live so that I can get to know why he lied to me. So, I pushed that thought aside.
"The fact that you are Jin oppa's brother, why are you keeping it a secret from Jimin and Chaeyoung ?" I asked with a straight face. I might look like I am trying to invade his privacy, but somehow I couldn't convince myself to let the matter go. I wanted to hear his reasons. I wanted to know him better.
"Tell me Y/n. Would you treat me the same if you knew that I was a rich kid? Do you think Jimin and Chaeyoung would treat me the same, if they knew who I really am? Do you think that anyone in the school, including the teachers and the principle, would treat me the same if they knew my real identity?" he asked me in a weird, deep voice. He was at the verge of crying.
"First of all Taehyung, I would treat you the same. Because, I don't judge people by standards. None tried to talk to me back in school. So, it doesn't matter to me if you were even a cave man" I said which made him smile a bit. I felt relieved that he smiled so I continued with my reasoning.
"It's okay if you had to hide it from Chaeyoung and Jimin, then. But when do you plan on telling them, Taehyung? Or are you planning for them to find out on their own in the future and to think that you had kept such a secret from them for that long?". He fell silent at my words. There was a glint of sadness in his eyes. He looked on his lap to avoid my eyes.
"Look at me Taehyung" I said to which he snaped his head right back up.
" Its okay to keep one or two secret from ones who are close to you. But if the same secret, which is keeping you together might hurt you both in the future, you'd rather tell them now than never. Lies might help you in the present tae, but truth, you have no idea of the wonders it can do." I said and paused to examine his face. He was looking at me with sad eyes. He didn't even blink. I got the message that he's not gonna say anything. So, I just continued again.
"About Chaeyoung and Jimin, I don't know them that well to judge whether they can take the fact smoothly. But, if they really love you, they will understand you and forgive you. Tell them tae, tell them everything. I have this gut feeling that they will understand you. If they don't, I promise I'll be there for you as a shoulder to cry it off. So don't make it wait. Tell them everything, please?" I pleaded.

He was in tears now. It was the first time I had seen him crying. The tears just wouldn't stop. He held his face in his hands and cried like a baby. I hugged him tight. It was a habit of mine. Whenever I saw someone crying, I would just hug them and tell soft calming words in their ear. I had learnt it from my grandmother. Because that's what she would do whenever I cried. And that's what I did for the crying boy in front of me. And he hugged me back and cried on the crook of my neck.
In my opinion, he needed it. How hard was it for him to pretend like he was an open book to his close friends when he was actually hiding a big truth from them. I consoled him until he stopped crying and wiped off his tears with the sleeve of his T-shirt. He suddenly turned all red and tried to avoid my gaze. Wait! was he shy? Oh my god, this bastard is so cute!
"Its okay Taehyung, even boys cry when they are hurt. For your kind information humans cry when they are sad. If you think I'm lying, google it" I said with a warm smile plastered on my face. He looked at me from the corner of his eyes and a small smile crept its way to his lips. I swear this guy looked gorgeous even when he cried and the 'after cry look' was like desert of a nice three course meal. And that small smile was like the cherry topping.
I just admired his beauty; more like drooled over him. I realized what I was doing and composed myself. He was still fidgeting with his fingers. Although he looked all cute and adorable I had to break this awkward silence. So I cleared my throat and said, "Its my turn now". He snapped his head towards me as he narrowed his puffy eyes.
"No, its not. Its my turn now". he said with a straight face. He recovered so quickly that even professional actors would be amazed by him. But I was grateful that we were back to normal. I pushed the rim of my specs up my nose and crossed my hands over my torso to look intimidating. He was really confused now and I loved that I had the upper hand.
"I think you forgot you asked me about Chaeyoung and Jimin knowing about your secret and also the others knowing about your secret too. So, 'Mr. Its my turn now', If they were not questions, then what were they?" I asked. He just made a disgusted face and murmured a small fine. I had to smirk since it was my first time mocking him. Bwahahahaha.
"So what company does your father own, huh?" I asked to which he frowned.
"Are you trying to spy on me now? What are your dark intentions ?" he asked. This guy really has his own way of ruining my mood. What does he think I am, some secret service agent? Bitch, I can't even pull off a simple fake laugh, who am I kidding?
"If you don't answer that question, I will consider your previous two questions as a part of the game too. If I count properly they are 4 questions excluding the earlier one. So, answer it. And for your kind information, I already know you are Jin oppa's brother. So, I can just google about your father and know about his company, you dimwit" I said as I smacked his head. He gave me a nod and made a weird face.

He has real talent, I see. If he tries a bit harder, he might successfully become a world famous clown.
"Its K&J corporations " he said. The name was somewhat familiar to me. I had this weird feeling that I had heard it somewhere before. But, I just shrugged it off. I might remember it later on or maybe its just in my mind. Anyway, I was too lazy to bug over something like this.
" So my turn now. You said your grandma died from a hit and run accident. What happened to that bastard? Was he arrested?" he asked. I sighed at the thought of the case.
"No. The case was closed just like that. The police just said that there was no information on the owner of the car. They said that even the car had disappeared. So, it was dropped just like that for lack of identity of the perpetrator" I said with a straight face.
"So your saying he was not at all found in the first place, to be arrested?" he asked with a confused expression. "Yes " I said with the same expressionless face, the trademark of our family.
And so the game continued. The next few questions were quite simple. way to go with the 'we'll start with simple questions'. Apparently, V was a year older than me since he was home schooled for a year before coming to Busan. He loved playing video games, reading Manga and watching anime; an interest we both shared. I had fun talking to him and lost the track of time. It was already 3 pm in the afternoon.
We were enjoying each other's company like we were friends from a long time. We were so immersed with ourselves that we never noticed that we had audience behind us hiding and listening to our conversation.
We had finished the small checkup and had arrived home. I searched for the two young lads but they were no where to be found. That's when yeontan pulled my dress and led me to the garden in the backyard. A worried Jin also walked behind me. Yeontan stopped at the door that opened to the garden. There I saw them. They were laughing so warmly and talking to each other.
They looked so adorable that I wanted to interrupt them and get them all flustered. But I restrained myself from doing so. Taehyung was never happy when he came to us. He always had this gloomy face when he visited us. But the fact that this girl could make him smile like that, I was sure that she was the one for him.
"Wha- Oh now I see" said Jin from behind me. " I knew it. My advice is always right! I told him to tell her the truth about our family status and he did it. I'm so proud of him" he whispered almost in tears. I just nodded. Suddenly, I remembered something which made me widen my eyes. I slowly turned to my husband and asked, "She didn't know that the two of you were brothers?" I asked.
"No, sweetheart. He had hid it from all his friends. You remember I had told you how dad wanted him to study in Busan under the guidance of one of his friends there?" he whispered. "Uhuh" I said with an awkward laugh. Wow. I was really careless, wasn't I?
Although we were really enjoying peeping on a young couple like creeps, we had to feed them. I decided not to embarrass them. So, dragged an emotional Jin to the living room with me and started screaming their names to give them an impression that we had just arrived. Just on que, the two of them hurried to the living room.
"So I guess you two are starving now? Lets go to the dinning room and wait. Jin's gonna prepare something for us" I said as I went to Y/n's side.
"Unnie, my clothes" she reminded me.
"Oh sweety. I'm sorry, I had totally forgotten about your clothes. The maids have already washed it and dried it. Come on lets get you changed" I said as I held her hand and took her too my room. On the way, I asked one of the maids to bring her clothes to my room.
We went to the room and a maid arrived with Y/n's clothes. She took her clothes and excused herself to the bathroom and was back after a few minutes, with her hoodie and jeans on. We went to the dinning hall where Taehyung was playing some game on his cell phone chanting some 'bow wow wow'. As soon as we arrived, his eyes met with that of Y/n and a smile was plastered on his face. As for the young lady beside me was also smiling at him.
Jin brought the food to the table and all of us settled down around the it. We chated for long as we had our lunch. We finished our lunch, after which Jin and Y/n were washing dishes in the kitchen. I was sitting with taetae in the living room. He was searching for Y/n like a lost puppy.
"Taehyung" I called him making him look at me as I said.
"Never let her go. Okay?"

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all.
