Some general information about this, and the upcoming extra stories:

• This is the first story of a series which will consist of four extra stories (. Akatsuki & Yui's Story. . Shirayuki & Izumi's Story. . Amaterasu & Rinmaru's Story. . Nadeshiko & Naomi's Story.) where Katsuki & Shōto's four children and their partners will be the main characters.

• This story, "Akatsuki & Yui's Story", will be written in Akatsuki Todoroki & Yui Shinsō's point of views as it will be focused on them and their relationship.

• Since the couple was underage in most counties (not in my own, or in Japan where the story is set though) when they mated (Akatsuki: 16. Yui: 15.), I'm not going to go into detail about their mating or anything sexual.

• None of the four extra stories will be AUs. All of them will be connected to the original story, however, the four extra stories will take place in the future.

• During the first part of Akatsuki & Yui's story, Akatsuki will be 16 years old & Yui will be 15 years old. In the second part, Akatsuki will be 20 & Yui will be 19.

• Yui is the daughter of Denki Kaminari and Hitoshi Shinsō. She's their only child.

• Akatsuki is a dominant alpha & Yui is a recessive omega.

• They are not soulmates, but a soulbond is not needed for mating.

Akatsuki's POV:

I gently stroke my fingers over the bite mark on Yui's nape as she laid on the bed with her stomach against the mattress, boldly exposing her nape while humming on some kind of cheerful song. I'd given her that mark two days ago, and neither of us had left my bedroom ever since, living on the snacks we'd brought into my room before we mated. We both knew our parents would freak out once they found out, which they would, so we procrastinated by holing ourselves up in my room for as long as possible.

She shivered under my touch, a soft squirm slipping past her lips.

"Aka-chan~ You know omegas are super sensitive there, you meanie!" She mumbled, turning her face to look at me with a cute pout.

I met her gaze, admiring her big, beautiful golden-brown eyes and the long, dark lashes framing them.

"Couldn't help it. Seeing my mark on you makes me really happy since it means we'll be together forever. Not even the soulbond will be able to separate us now." I stated, the corners of my mouth curling into a proud smile.

Yui would always be by my side from now on, and not even meeting her 'destined' soulmate could change that anymore. Since she had a mate already, she'd no longer have to be afraid of reacting to her actual soulmate's pheromones in case she happened to run into them. The only thing we both wanted more than anything else, was to stay together for the rest of our lives.

"Uh-huh! I'm so happy~ I love you infinitely much, Aka-chan!" She exclaimed with a bright, adorable grin on her lips as she rolled over to lay on her back.

I felt my heart squeeze inside my chest, and I lovingly tucked one of her indigo curls behind her ear.

"I love you too." I replied, leaning down to place my lips on hers.

Our kiss didn't last for long as we suddenly were interrupted by mom throwing the door open.

"What the hell are you two doing in here? You haven't been downstairs for two days! You gotta eat something proper and not just the snacks you've stashed in.. here..." He trailed off at the end of his sentence and paused for a moment before speaking up again.

"Why are your scents mixed all of a sudden, and where's your protective collar, Yui-chan...? Don't tell me you two actually-.. Oh hell no..!" Mom almost shouted with an extremely distressed look on his face as he'd figured out what we'd done.

Yui and I looked at each other with troubled expressions, then at mom.

"About that.. Yeah.. Yui and I are mates now..." I admitted, averting my gaze from mom's dumbstruck one.

He was completely quiet for a moment, his eyes widened in shock.

"Stupid brats..! You do realise you'll be stuck with each other for the rest of your damn lives now, right?! You're just kids for god's sake!" He pointed out with a panicked tone in his voice.

"I'll give you two options. Option number one: you two will go downstairs and tell Shōto about this right now. Option number two: you'll stay up here, hiding like cowards, and let me tell him. It's all up to you."

I anxiously grabbed Yui's hand. We both knew the worst part was over since we'd already been scolded by mom, who by far was the most difficult to deal with among the four parents we'd be getting scolded by.

"We'll do it..." Yui mumbled, squeezing my hand as she seemed a bit scared of telling the other three parents.

Mom was silent, just gesturing for us to start walking.

We hesitantly went downstairs together, tightly holding the other's hand as we did.

In the living room, dad sat on the couch with his laptop, completely focused on the screen.

"U-Uhm.. Dad..? There's something we need to tell you..." I said, making him rip his gaze off the laptop to meet my eyes.

His long, silky hair was, as usual, put up in a half-up bun, and he was actually wearing his glasses for once.

"Yes? Is something wrong? I heard mom going off on something or someone upstairs just a moment ago, so I assumed he and Shirayuki were just arguing again, but I guess I was wrong? What did you guys do?" Dad asked, surprised to know it was us who'd been scolded and not Shirayuki.

Suddenly, he furrowed his eyebrows and narrowed his eyes.

"Oh..." He simply said as he realised what was up by the change in our scents.

"This definitely came at least five years too early in my opinion.. What exactly were you two thinking..?" He asked, keeping his composure even though the news came as a shock.

I took a long, deep breath before opening my mouth to speak.

"We really, truly love each other. We always have. I don't ever want to see Yui being taken away from me, which could've happened any day before we mated as we're not soulmates. Just the thought of her being attacked and unable to resist because of the soulbond, made me so scared and distressed I couldn't sleep at night. We've talked about it a lot, and she too, feels the same way I do. Our decision was a hundred percent mutual, and neither of us have any regrets." I explained, my gaze not wavering from dad's even for a second.

He sighed, then his lips curled into a content smile.

"I see. I'm happy for you, but I still think you made this decision way too soon and too young. You have a whole lifetime ahead of you, and the future is unpredictable. I hope for your own sakes that your feelings will remain as stable as they are now throughout the rest of your lives, because you're stuck together now."

Dad had a slightly uneasy expression on his face, but he didn't seem upset about it like mom. He was always so understanding and supportive.

"Thank you, Shōto-san! I'm sorry for claiming your daughter so early, but I don't regret anything. I- I will treasure and take good care of her for the rest of my life! I promise!" Yui exclaimed, bowing.

Dad nervously told her to raise her head, looking anxious as he did.

"You better, Yui-chan! I ain't gonna let anyone hurt my precious daughter, so make sure you'll never break her heart, ya hear me?" Mom asked, or more like threatened, from where he was standing behind us, leaning against the door frame.

"Yes! I swear I won't ever break her heart, Katsuki-san!" Yui confidently replied with a very serious look in her eyes.

I shifted my gaze to Yui, flattered by how dead serious she was about our relationship, just like me.

"Yui..." I felt how a loving smile took shape on my lips.

"Me too. I'll never break your heart either, so let's always be together. Never leave my side, okay?"

She nodded and brought my hand to her lips, then gently kissed the backside of it.

"Never."

• Four years later •

Yui's POV:

It had been a year since Akatsuki and I bought our apartment and moved in together. Not only did we live together, we were also expecting our first baby who was estimated to arrive in just three weeks now. Initially, we had decided not have our baby's gender revealed, but our curiosity grew stronger the further along I got, and a month ago, we ended up having the gender revealed anyway. It turned out I'd be giving birth to a baby boy!

We'd discussed names back and forth and eventually decided on a perfect and beautiful name for him; Taiyō Todoroki. He was our sun, so we couldn't possibly choose a more fitting name for him!

"Hey, Taiyō.. Come out already. I want to see you." Akatsuki mumbled against my stomach, which she then kissed lovingly.

We'd been lazing around in bed all morning, enjoying our well-deserved weekend after a long week of studying. Akatsuki and I had both applied the the same university, but we were in different departments. I was majoring in nursing and Akatsuki majored in business. Since she was going to take over the Todoroki family's huge company once Shōto-san decided to retire, she had to work super hard with her studies every day. She was a splendid businesswoman and was very excited about taking over the company as the ambitious, hardworking person she was. My beloved mate was truly amazing! Just watching her working so hard to accomplish her dream was enough to inspire me to do my best too! I wanted to become a nurse, and maybe eventually a doctor, to be able to help people in need; that was my dream.

"Oh! I can see the outline of his tiny hand! Wait, now it's his foot!" Akatsuki excitedly exclaimed.

"Yep! He really wants out now, so he's kicking and pressing as much as he can. He's very energetic!" I cheerfully replied, glancing down at my bare stomach to see Taiyō do exactly what I felt him doing inside my belly.

Akatsuki observed his every movement with a loving look in her eyes.

"Jeez~ I can't stop smiling!" She admitted, gently caressing my baby bump.

I couldn't help but to giggle as it tickled a little.

"Your smile is the prettiest smile in the world, so smile to your heart's content!"

She glanced up at me with a slightly embarrassed glint in her eyes as she waved dismissively.

"No. I believe your smile still tops the chart, honey." She argued.

I reached my hand out and brushed my fingers through her thick, silky hair.

"I love you infinitely much!"
