《Old Friends (K/DA x male Reader)》Chapter 5

Akali's POV:
Me, eve and Bokkie are siting in our hotel room while Ahri went to Y/N house, That was almost two hours ago and we still haven't heard from her. It can't be that hard to tell us how it went.
"I still think we should have gone together. Y/N is important to all of us why should Ahri go alone?" I say annoyed Y/N was always there for me when I needed him but I left him alone the second I had the chance without even thinking about it for a moment. And now I can't even go and apologize? That just sucks.
"None of us doubts that Y/N is important to you darling and we all want to apologize to him but we shouldn't put him through too much at once. it's better if Ahri does it on her own for now." answers eve. She has a point, Y/N and Ahri were always best friends. I always had the suspicion that there was more between them than just friendship. I know that they both had feelings for each other I was always jealous of that I had feelings for him from the time I met him but he always saw me as a sister because I am younger than him. I look at eve and nod.
After 20 minutes of silence eves phone starts to ring so she gets up and answers it. She talks too quietly to hear her through the room but I could hear that she talks with Ahri. After a few minutes she suddenly looks very surprised and starts to smirk. this smirk never leaves her face during the next few minutes of the call. After a while she hangs up and comes back to me and Kai'sa.
"What's wrong eve?..." Kai'sa asks with a puzzled look on her face she seems as perplexed by eve's behavior as I am. I mean seeing eve smirk like that is nothing new but in this situation? But eve does not answer she just looks at us grabs her coat from the coat rack in the corner of the room and starts to walk to the door of the hotel room.
"Where are you going?" I shout after her.
"Will you see Rouge, come you two we need to go." She answers. I look at Kai'sa, she just shrugs, stands up and follows Eve. I just sigh and get up to run after the two girls. After leaving the hotel, eve waves a cab to us and we get in. Eve tells the driver an address that me and Bokkie immediately recognize as the address that the woman at the bakery gave us.
"why are we driving to his house?" I ask Eve. I know the answer we don't go to Y/N for no reason but I want to hear it. Eve looks at me and smiles

"he wants to see us" she says. I panic a bit I said I wanted to see him but now that it's really happening I don't know what to say to him. Kai'sa seems to notice how I feel, she takes my hand and looks at me
"hey everything will be fine, he wants to see us, that was his decision." I know she means well but that does not calm me down and I can see that she feels the same way no matter what she says she is just as panicked as I am.
"We are there." Says the driver, that was quick. eve pays the driver we get out and make our way to Y/N's front door. how can he afford to live in a house like this? does the military pay so well? When we arrive at the door we all stand still none of us dares to press the doorbell. after we have been pressing the doorbell for a while eve shakes her head and rings the bell.
Y/N's POV:
After Ahri has told the girls we have talked a bit but it was very uncomfortable mainly because we are seeing each other for the second time in 10 years but also because she stares at the scars on my forearms all the time. I do not blame her and by now I have gotten used to it I have the scars since the incident in the orphanage 9 years ago. After a while, I hear my doorbell ring. Finally I can escape this awkwardness, I jump up and go to the door. I open the door and see the three girls in front of me they just look at me without saying a word
"do you want to come in?" I ask while i open the door for them. eve nods and walks through the door the other two follow her. I lead them into the living room to Ahri.
"Do you want something to drink?" I ask while they sit down on the sofa next to Ahri.
"N-No thank you, l-look Y/N we want-" Kai'sa begins but I interrupt her
"No it's okay Kai'sa, don't worry we don't have to talk about it now." I really don't want to go through this apology crap again I just had it with Ahri the others will have to wait a little longer. It's not like we don't have other things to talk about if they are going to live here.
"But something else, as I told Ahri I have two guest rooms upstairs that you can use so you can concentrate on your music." I say While Ahri and Evelynn nod, Kai'sa and Akali look shocked. Did Ahri not speak to them?

"W-What are you talking about?" Akali asks stunned I just look at Ahri
"Didn't you tell them?" I ask
"I told eve to tell them. Eve?" Ahri says But eve only smirks and I shake my head.
"Okay then again for both of you. I have offered Ahri that you four can stay here like I said I have two guest rooms you can use." I say to Kai'sa and Akali. I could see how confused the two were understandably I was confused by my idea too. The idea that people I have not seen for a decade should live with me is indeed a bit crazy.#
"A-Are you sure about this?" Kai'sa asks, I nod.
"Yes I am not here often anyway, and maybe it can be like it used to be between us again..." Why do the four of them seem disappointed? did I miss something?
"Like it used to be.. Cool... Yeah thanks Y/N that would be awesome." Yes very convincing Ahri. What am I missing here? Well never mind if the four don't want to talk to me it's certainly not my Problem. Anyway, they'll talk to me when it's important.
"your rooms are upstairs settle in I was just about to cook when Ahri arrived so dinner is almost ready" I say
"N-No Y/N. c-can I cook? If y-you let us live here I can at least cook." Kai'sa answers shyly. That awakens many memories in me. Me and Kai'sa used to cook together or I would cook and she would watch me cook Thinking about that makes me smile. Maybe it really can be like it used to be again.
"You are still cooking? I would love to try your food Kai'sa." I say with a smile causing her to blush. She jumps up from the sofa and runs into the kitchen. How the hell does she know where my kitchen is? I follow her into the kitchen while the other three go upstairs into their new bedrooms. When we arrive in the kitchen I sit down on one of the stools in the kitchen and Kai'sa goes to my fridge to see what she can cook. while she cooks we don't speak a word to each other but it's not like the awkward silence with Ahri this silence is kind of relaxing. every now and then she looks over her shoulder at me and smiles. It's nice to see her so happy after what Ahri said she went through, even though the four of them let me down none of them deserves something like this.
"Dinner is ready!" I am jolted out of my thoughts as Kai'sa tells the others that dinner is ready. Whatever she cooked it smells delicious. I get up and take the cutlery out of my kitchen cupboard and bring it to the living room table while Kai'sa puts the food down. the others come down we sit and begin to eat.
"How does it taste?" she asks me.
"very good Kai'sa, I have no idea what it is but it tastes very delicious." I say what makes everyone except Akali laugh a bit and I already have a feeling why.
"What's wrong Akali?" I ask.
"Can we talk about this Y/N?" I lay down my fork and lean back in my chair.
"There's nothing to talk about. Nothing you can say will change what you did. I just need some time to try to get over it. I understand why you had to leave I don't blame you but there would have been dozens of ways to handle it better. I just need time, everything will be ok." I say with a smile. To be honest I'm not sure about that 'everything will be ok' part but I will try the girls just too important not to try.
"...Okay" she says. I just want to eat more but before I get to it my phone rings so I get up and walk a few meters away from the girls. I get my phone out of my pocket and see that it is Nick who is calling me.
Me: Hey buddy is it important? I am a little busy here right now.
Nick: Yes I could use your help my mother called he is drunk again and is running around the house with a knife
Me: I'm on my way, I'll meet you there.
I hang up and head for the front door which makes the girls ask me where I'm going but I don't answer. before I head out the door I go into the living room and open the safe that's hanging on my wall and take something out.
I take the gun and a holster from the safe and attach it to my belt. nick once told me that his mother's boyfriend has a gun license, so I don't want to take any chances.
"Why the fuck do you have a gun Y/N?!!" Ahri says I do not understand why she is surprised she knows that I am a soldier.
"don't worry about it. I have something to take care of, don't wait for me." i say as i walk out the door and leave the girls in shock.

Era Of The Kobold
Era of the Kobold Returning July Third! Hi there! Thought I forgot about this series, didn't you? In all seriousness, I am sorry for not posting in such a long time. I've been really busy with other things, mainly my education. However, once July hits and I get the time needed to write, I'll be continuing EotK where we left off. It'll be the regular one chapter a week at least, though I'll try to post more frequently for that month. Hopefully you all have been doing well! I'll see you in July. Synopsis: All he wanted was to spend his life gaming. Samuel was an absolute nerd when it came to video games, RPGs especially. He'd play them all day, rarely leaving his house, or even his room for that matter. His peaceful days were sadly ended before he even finished college, however. Despite his expectations, he finds himself reincarnated in a new world as a Kobold. He must now live a hard life as a weak creature that tends to die young and is seen as a monster. How will he manage in this new life and what will he do with it? The rate of publishing will slow down, as I focus on my education.

Party Leveling
{A new notification has arrived.} In front of a few people, these hologram-looking messages appeared and changed their lives in entirely different forms. Things such as growing stronger, becoming smarter, feeling more agile, became possible within short periods of time from that point onwards. The one who regretted his weak healing abilities for years began to chase after the magic powers that could turn reason and sense upside down while keeping his goal, this duty to the wrongs he committed. The other one, who complained about his lack of strength, strove towards the path of an unbeatable champion to protect those he held dear. When the person who had everything found a path to desire for more, not fearing the consequences and the obstacles, he also began to walk onwards to a new life. And among them, the one who walked aimlessly but also never stepped down on the choices he made along the way, was the one who couldn’t be ignored nor disrespected by anyone. The “Player” system that they all obtained, and which granted them several abilities, knowledge and directions, was also the beginning of an entire new era in this world where monsters, magic and technology, were already common and wide-spread. There’s not a single hero, but after committing mistakes after mistakes, learning from the painful and thorny path that they take, and growing as people with the people that surround them, then someday... there will certainly be saviors. [Comics*] Season Of Destruction
Born as mortal sons to Napoleon Bonaparte's personal surgeon and forever altered by the sinister mentor who made them orphans, bloodsucking vampire brothers Lucien, Thibault and Marcel are less Lugosi, more dashing serial killers, sour and snobbish, fond of fine things. Not unlike a competitive clan of creepy Kennedy cousins. These nearly immortal all-stars of mayhem and murder lack talons, retractable fangs and vulnerability to garlic or sunshine. They cast shadows. They make reflections in mirrors, and when buried, our boys enter a state of metabolic suspension, "sleeping" until it's safe to rise and return to their work, harvesting heads. After more than 150 years in hibernation, the vampires are revived by the spilled blood of methamphetamine users killed in a gangland ambush. The trio are instantly and utterly addicted - not to the toxic drug itself, but to the blood of those who intravenously use meth. Soon the frankendrug's grip draws their destinies into a narrow spiral of addiction, and their plans to return to modern France are sidetracked, then forgotten as they become lost in the American empire-turned-nightmare of 2028. Season of Destruction is a story that runs on bodies. It's a swim meet in a shark tank, and very few make it out alive. It's a story about the beginning of the end of the world.
