Hayley TOOK Hope and moved across the street
like why can't she just be here with me.....I already miss her
oh and somethings going on with this Lucien and apparently there is a thing out there out to kill them again
will someone not be trying to kill them ever?
Marcel is being quarted by something called the Styx. Apparently, Elijah started it
so here I am reading a book about human pressure points listening to Klaus and Elijah talk about this
"And now I reap what I sow. I should have killed him in that chapel" Klaus growls
Elijah in his holeyer then though ways says "Yet you played right alongside him, succumbing to your savagery. He brought out the worst in you, Niklaus"
"not everyone is perfect like you, Elijah" I quip "We get it your a freaking angel of the lord"
Elijah's sighs at me "Samael"
"Elijah" I say back
we hold eye contact
finally I sigh "It doesn't matter. You two will get the weapon and will kill them both like you two always do. Just face it, Elijah, no matter what happens you and Klaus are stuck together"
my amazing uncle narrows his eyes
"Purely circumstantial, I assure you"
I slam my book shut "Your word means nothing to me, Elijah. I trust Kol more then I trust you and that's saying something" then I leave the room
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Freya and I are in the upstairs study practicing magic when an unhappy looking Klaus walks in
"What are you two doing here"
Freya and I look at each other and then back at him
"...We live here?" Freya says
Klaus sighs "Yes. Obviously"
the two of us turn back to the grimoire
"I just hadn't realized you two were back from wherever the two of you disappear to when you leave! Perhaps I was thrown off by the lack of strange gentleman or the fact that there is food in this house"
not my fault I like food
"Your concern for my whereabouts is touching" Freya smirks
"I simply want to know who is here at any given moment" then he points at me "And you are eight and don't need to be wandering of on your own"
Hayley and Elijah walk in the room yippy
"Well, as long as we're talking attendance..."
"Oh goodie" I deadpan "It's my awful uncle with the stick up his ass and my little sisters mother who thinks she's mine. What a nice family we have here"
Klaus smiles amused while Hayley rolls her eyes
"Charming. Elijah was just catching me up on how you have no clue which one of your long-lost buddies you can trust and which one is trying to kill you"
"Well, clearly what the situation needs is more opinions" Klaus shoots back
Elijah sighs "At least we don't need to wonder where Samael gets his attitude from"
I flip him off "Hayley knows about the prophecy now right?"
the hybrid in question glares at Elijah
oh she doesn't
"I was just getting to that..." Elijah says
Hayley turns to Klaus "Now would be good"
"Klaus and Elijah's old friends are here because there is apparently a war against the blood lines. Klaus friend, Lucien who is an already guy, has an actually seer, how cool is that. Anyway this seer says that there will be death. I haven't seen it but I assume it's not good because Elijah had his pensive face on while they were talking about it"
"My pensive face?"
"Who's death are we talking about" Hayley asks "Because it it's either of yours, I think we're all okay with that"
"You quite literally said you want an eight year old to die" I purse my lips "You're going to hell"

Klaus chuckles "Well, sadly, we're all on the chopping block. But, chin up! This witch claims her visions are constantly evolving. So, you may just get your wish"
Hayley smiles "Well, I want to meet this psychic witch" she looks towards Elijah "Tonight"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
reading more on pressure points when my phone rings
before you ask why I have a phone Klaus folds easily since he's been trying to get on my good side
not that I have one
"What?" I ask
"Really, Samael? Is that the way you greet your father who bought you the phone your speaking to me on and wouldn't be alive without"
"Are you going to tell me what you want, Klaus" I sigh into the phone
silence
then Lucien's voice pops in "You are right little vampire. We need your help. A dear, dear friend of mind has gone missing, and we must find her. Our lives depend on it"
I chuckle "And Freya wouldn't answer your calls"
"You certainly are the best"
"Lucien" I sigh "flattery will get you no where with me. Just because your a thousand years old and I kind of like you doesn't mean I won't kill you"
Lucien chuckles
"Samael, please" Klaus voice comes back "I am not asking as your father but as your newest friend"
wow that was shallow
"Fine" I pop "I-uh-like the groveling"
then I hang up
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I knock on Lucien's door
Lucien opens the door "Please, do come in"
with a smirk I walk in
"I miss the girls already"
this does not amuse Klaus apparently because he points to a map "If you're quite finished here... this is hers" then sets a hairbrush down
I start setting up just like Freya taught me
"Your brother must have told Tristan about the prophecy. If that sadistic bastard so much as touches a hair on her head"
dear god
I pour the black sand into my hand letting it fall on the table as I whisper the incantation. The sand begins moving around in circles until it makes a small circle
"Ah, the Davilla Estate. Brilliant. Isn't that where--"
"--Our old friend Tristan lured Elijah just the other night. It seems your fears are warranted"
my eyebrow raises
"Granted, we are the two most cunning, powerful, and handsome vampires of all time--"
really
"--granted--" Klaus interjects
"--but that still leaves us a bit outnumbered. How do you propose we fight our way into an entire secret society of ancient vampires"
"I have an idea" I give making them both look at me

Transposition
Please note: the Sexual Content tag is there due to a single brief plot-relevant scene, which has a warning at the beginning. For other details, read the full description below. Rating breakdown, since that should be public info: 5 x 5*, 2 x 4.5*, 1 x 0.5* During a blackout, a frail and ragged old woman stops to ask for a glass of water from a backyard barbecue party. Given a good supper instead, she looks around the group, and tells them, "Be who and what you truly are." Days later, seven of the people from the barbecue find themselves drawn into a trap laid by a pair of wizards and their accomplices, who kidnap them into a bubble reality. All seven, who have known each other all their lives, are informed that they are not in fact entirely human: they have active fae blood, due to a series of conditions culminating with the blessing of the elderly fae woman. The transformation into fae form comes as a shock: all seven, whether originally female or male, find themselves now unreasonably beautiful women. More urgent even than that, though, is their captivity. Getting back to the real world is a higher priority than this metamorphosis that rapidly begins to feel natural... but this is only the first step, as the diverse types of fae blood they carry begin to surface. With no resources except themselves, how can they escape this prison? If they succeed, how can they possibly reclaim their lives? Just how many other faelings have been kidnapped, anyway, and what happened to them? And is there a way to make sure that their captors never put anyone else through this? Back in the real world, Kayla, who learned long ago to trust her gut instincts, is absolutely certain that something is very wrong. The pattern in the list of missing friends is easy to spot, but makes no sense at all. Then a young woman turns up at the backyard gate who knows more than she should, and even though her explanation makes even less sense, every instinct tells Kayla that Riley is her only way to get them back. If they're not quite what they were, well, that's a bridge to cross later... Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature. If I need to warn you about gender in this being all over the map, some of it reality-based rather than fantasy-based, highly diverse sexuality, or that there is (especially later) some indirect fetish/BDSM imagery and honest character discussion, then you probably should just avoid everything I write. :-) Also available on Scribble Hub.
