"[Y/N]!" Chuuya shouted when he saw you're lying on the ground. He also approached you and helped you to get up. "What happened?!" He panicked.
"Dazai can't do that," you muttered as if you were hallucinating. "I know!" Chuuya also helped you to stand up.
You suddenly gets an instinct that there are other people around her. Then you saw a dark brown-haired man walking toward you. "Dazai?" You called him. Dazai just kept quiet. Without any single word, he walked into the house.
"D-Dazai!" You called him. No answer. Tears slid down to your cheeks. Chuuya still supported you to stand.
"Oi! Tch, you Dimwit Dazai!" Chuuya cursed under his breath.
Inside, Dazai entered his room. He opened the drawer on the nightstand and took some pills, an injection and sleeping fluids from there. He came out of his room and walked to your daughter's room.
"Papa?" She asked, reassuring herself if it was her father.
"Not sleepy yet, Princess?" He asked. He carried his daughter and swung her softly. To be honest, your daughter was trying to calm down in front of her father.
"Princess, let me ask you once again. Will you protect your Mama until i came back?"
She nodded without hesitation. She cupped Dazai's cheeks with her little hands. "Hm! Even if I have to meet Uncle Oda soon."
Dazai was surprised at the rather deep thought of his daughter. He didn't think that his daughter was only three years old because she already had such thoughts.
Dazai put your daughter to sleep. He filled the injection he was carrying with sleeping fluids that had been mixed with an impersonator. He pressed his forehead with his daughter's forehead. "Pelase forgive me, Princess." Said Dazai in a broken tone.
She shook her head and cupped Dazai's cheeks again. "Papa want to protect me and Mama, right? I always believes that Papa is a good person." Dazai smiled.

Her hand moved to Dazai's shoulder. She squeezed the coat fabric that Dazai was wearing. "Ouch!" She tried her best not to scream. Dazai's hand trembled slightly as he injected the sleeping fluids.
"I'm sorry. Please forgive me! I love you..." Dazai whispered in between his sobs.
The nerves in her body began to give up. She slowly began to fall in her sleep. "No need to apologize. I'll be fine! I love you too, Papa."
With that, She began to fall asleep. "What kind of parent am I?" Dazai asked himself while covering a half part of your daughter's body with a blanket. He turned away, realizing that now he only had to deal with Chuuya and you, his own wife who had been waiting outside.
Dazai opened the door and walked past through you and Chuuya.
"Oi! Dimwit Dazai! What the hell do you think you're going to do?!" Chuuya shouted at Dazai. "Are you just going to abandon your family?!"
"This has nothing to do with you, Chuuya." Dazai stopped without even turning his face. He answered Chuuya's question coldly.
You noticed the medicine pack that Dazai was holding. You pushed yourself to talked to him. "What would you do?!" You asked in a slightly snapping tone.
"Just this once, I want to break my promise to Odasaku. It's been a long time since I've been on the side he hates the most." Said Dazai, making you shocked to death.
"I know you're lying! Will you bring the same disaster as before?! If that's true," your words stopped. You cried. "YOU ARE THE SAME WITH HIM WHO HAS KILLED MY BESTFRIENDS, KAORI AND OTONASHI!"
Remembering those memories, your tears broke out immediately. Kaori and Otonashi are your best friends and partners in Port Mafia. The three of you are always together.
Kaori is a gifted. Her ability called 'Symphony of Lies'. She can control all kinds of sounds around her. While Otonashi isn't a gifted. Even so, his style in fighting and using weapons has been recognized by his enemies. For you, he's the most badass assassin in Port Mafia.

And once again, it's right! Shibusawa Tatsuhiko was the one who killed Kaori and Otonashi. At that time you were shocked to death. You felt like you'll die. You almost got killed by Shibusawa too because of that. Luckily, there was your brother, Odasaku and Dazai who immediately took you away and saved you.
There was a silence between them. Dazai can't say any other words. That's not what you're really worried about. You knew that Dazai wasn't an easy person to break promises. You also knows how complex his thoughts is. You knew that Dazai only wanted to protect his family and Yokohama as his place to live. You understands it very well, what kind of disaster will happen. Because you knew this disaster would be the same as the disaster that snatched your friends.
"Dazai, will you betray your own wife and daughter?!" Chuuya asked him again.
You looked at Chuuya, told him to stop. Hana stepped a little and took a deep breath. "Idiot! You're an idiot, Dazai! You're a big idiot! Sending yourself to death, you are an idiot! " You snapped.
"Even our daughter is willing to meet her uncle to protect us. Even though she was only three years old. How could I possibly let that happen? It's better for me to meet Odasaku first before her." Said Dazai.
"[Y/D/N]," you muttered your daughter name, scared something bad will happen to her.
"Ah, don't worry." Dazai said again. "I've injected the sleeping fluids and disguised her existence. I can't let our daughter get into trouble. She wouldn't wake up until this conflict is over. After all, Kaori-chan and Otonashi-kun have also been my subordinates, I will not let the people closest to me get killed again. But still, I want them to keep fighting." Dazai explained.
Chuuya went straight into your family home to check on your daughter.
"[Y/N]," Dazai called you. You immediately looked up. "Otonashi-kun's fighting technique is one of your weaknesses. Use that technique to break the heart in your head! " Dazai's command was like a code to you.
"Heart? Head?" You knew very well that the heart was in the chest. But, you also realized that it was a question puzzle from him. There is something he hid from you, but you know you need that code later.
Chuuya returned. You looked at him, as if you were asking fro something. Chuuya nodded. The information Dazai said was true.
You knows what will happen. You, Chuuya, Kouyou and Mori had discussed this before. They already discussed the Ability Users Serial Suicide Case. If Dazai joins the enemy, then he will be killed when they knows he's a traitor. Or when the enemy's plan is complete, he will still be killed.
"But you will be killed!" You cried. "She couldn't grown up without a father."
He walked away. He didn't want to destroy his intention. "Stop it, Dazai!" You shouted, trying to pull Dazai's shoulder. But your hand couldn't reach it.
Once again, the dark era will haunt you, torture you and kill you. The light you have is starting to dim. An endless nightmare. "Why? Why you give me this light? What will you do WITHOUT ME, Dazai?"
Aren't they so cute~? I love them:(

Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
