Oh my god Jay what are you doing here I thought you were in Iraq. I yelled

I was given a break for a couple days so I flew back to see you. Jay said

I love it that you're here but for how long. I asked

I'm here for a couple days. Jay said

Even though you're only here for a couple days I'm glad you're here. I said

Erin you look...beautiful like always. Jay said

Jay I have to tell you something the rest of the team already knows and I asked them not to tell you. I'm pregnant with twins and they're due around the time you get back in 8 months. I said

Oh my god Erin why didn't you tell me sooner. Jay asked

I was afraid. I said

Don't ever be afraid I love you and our kids. Jay said

Well looks like I'm gonna be seeing you all at Molly's tonight? Jay asked everyone

Yes! Everyone said even Hank agreed to go to Molly's

Well, I'll let you all get back to work and see you later. Jay said

Erin can I see you in my office for a minute? Jay I would like to talk you in a minute. Hank said

I walked into hanks office not knowing what he would want to talk to me about other than the fact that jays back and I told him about the twins.

Take a seat. Hank said

Ok...something wrong? I asked him

No, nothing at all, I just wanted you to know that you will not be coming into work for the next couple of days since Jay is back. Hank said

Now get Jay I wanna have a word with him, before the two of you leave. Hank said

I walked out and Jay went into his office I was a little worried as to what he would want to talk to Jay about.

You wanted talk to me sir? Jay asked

Sorry, it's just a force of habit. Jay said

I wanted to talk to you about and Erin and your kids. Hank said

Ok, what about them? Jay asked

Do you plan on re-enlisting after the twins are born or will you retire from the rangers. Hank asked

Umm...I haven't really thought about it since I just found out that I'm gonna have two kids, but I will probably retire and hopefully will be able to work in intelligence again. Jay said

Jay, there is always a spot on this team for you, I only ask because if you went back into the rangers Erin would be left here with two kids while you're half way across around the world and if you died it would break her heart and I don't know if she would be able to move past that. Hank said

Thank you Hank, I'm just glad that you'll be here for Erin while I can't. It means a lot to me. Please keep her safe too, because if my family dies I won't be able to come back from thatJay said

I will be putting her on desk duty soon, which she doesn't know about so don't tell her I should be the one to tell her. I also have her working with Antonio and I trust him with watching her back while you're gone. Hank said

Jay walked out of hanks office and saw Erin sitting at her desk doing stuff on her computer he just stood by the door and looked at her wondering how long it would take for her to realize he was standing there.

Hey babe, you just get done in there. I asked

No, I've been standing here for *looks at his phone to check the time* 10 minutes. Jay said

Really I didn't even notice. Guess I was really into all the paperwork I was doing. Let's get outta here. I said

Yea, so where should we go. Jay asked

We should go take a walk around the city. I said

Sounds so romantic, just remember we are meeting up with everyone tonight. Jay said

How did you get here since you don't have your car. I asked

I took a uber. Can I drive? Jay asked

Fine I guess just this one time I will let you drive, just don't kill us. I said

I will be the best driver that you have ridden with. Jay said

Jay why are you going so slow, this is why I always drive. I said

I can't get pulled over since I am a cop and army rangers. Jay joked

Just slow it down a bit, I don't want to have to get a new car, but I have missed us "fighting" about driving. I said

Well it looks like we are in the city of Chicago. I'm driving on the way back. I said

Since I have been gone and I have had time to think about my future with Erin and our family I have decided that I want to marry her but I want to do out before I go back, so I have to do it soon. I decided to give Hank a call so I can have his blessing.

Before we do anything I need to make a quick phone call. I said

Ok, I'll just go over there and talk to some people. She said

I dialed hanks number and was hoping he would answer, since they were all working right now.

Hello. Hank said

Hey Hank it's me Jay I want to ask you something and I realize I should ask you person but I want to do this before I leave. Jay said

I wanted your permission to ask Erin to marry me. Jay said

Jay I give you my blessing. I know how much the two of you love each other. Hank said

Thank you Hank. I am going to do it tonight so if you tell the team to meet up at the bean before we go to Molly's that would be greatly appreciated. Jay said

One question do you have a ring? Hank asked

Yes, I have been carrying it around with me since before I left. Jay said

I will let them know and what time would you like to meet up? Hank asked

I would like to meet up at 7:30 if that works for you guys. Jay said

I go over by Erin, she is talking to some people that she knows. Once she sees me coming towards her she says bye to her friends and comes toward me.

Good, so we have a while to kill before we have to be at Molly's to meet up with the rest of the group. She said
