We all head to Tess and Ellie and watch as Ellie "attempts" to hit the target.

I couldn't help but let out a small giggle when she almost killed the servant with her bow. Mom decided to take a shot with the arrow and surprisingly she was pretty good at it.

Everyone was laughing and having fun but I couldn't help but feel the guilt getting heavier and heavier the more I enjoyed myself.

"Are you Alright brat? Virion asked.

Oops I must've let my smile slip

"Yeah, I'm just thinking." I could tell he was suspicious but he dropped it.

"Can you hand me that dessert" Virion pointed.

I reach over to the dessert plate and handed him the one he pointed to.

Virion was staring at something and so was my dad I looked down and realized my sleeve was pulled up revealing a bandages with blood.

I quickly pulled my arm back and was silently panicking.

"Arthur...... what happened to you wrists? Dad had a grim expression on his face.

I didn't know what to say. But luckily Tess came and saved me just in time.

"Come on Arthur! I we all bet that I can shoot the bow better then you." Tess nudged me.

"Yeah right," I pull her cheek, she blushes slightly but shakes her head and pulls me away,

"By the way Dad I just injured myself in training." I figured I'd just make something up for the time being, But i could tell they weren't exactly fooled.

So I give them a reassuring smile and compete against Tess. Dad and Virion were quieter then before but eventually I guess they forgot about it since they eventually just went back to being loud and obnoxious.

Its a good thing they didn't suspect anything so why do I feel a little disappointed?
