Everyone was talking about going shopping during breakfast.
"You wanna come with us Arthur? The helsteas are coming too" they offered, but I just felt so tired there was no way I could walk around for hours.
"I'm good, I think I'm just gonna train today"
I try to sound enthusiastic but the restless nights were getting to me.
"Awww, pleaseeeee big bro I really want you to come with us." Ellie pouted and picked at her food.
"Sorry Ellie, I promise I'll come with you next time."
~1 hour later~
I decided to get some fresh air and take a small walk. I wanted to avoid the any crowds so i went through some alleys, I felt like someone was watching me.
"Why are you following me?" I asked not one but two figures.
"Smart little guy aren't you?" They snickered.
One was a tall skinny man in his 40s and the other was the opposite, fat and was in his 20s.
"Now why don't you be a good boy and let us do as we please with you"
"My blood started to boil, what did he mean by that? "Are you going to try to take my money or rape me?" I asked bluntly.
"Maybe both" they step closer to me and try to grab ahold of my clothes but I punch him in the face making him stumble to the ground obviously surprised by my strength.
The other one tries to tackle me from behind but I grab him by his collar and slam the back of his head against the wall. Again, again, again and again until his eyes rolled in his head, and his body slid to the ground.
I turned around and watch as the other man tried to get up but kept stumbling back to the ground.

"Do it again" the whispers of myself continued to ring in my ear.
I take out the my knife and watched as the man tremble in fear.
I stab him through one leg then the other as he screamed in pain which I couldn't allow so I slit his throat and watched as he struggled to breath.
His face turning a light purple which only motivated me more.
I stabbed him through the chest over and over and over, blood splatters covered the alley and myself.
I heard the man take his last breath and the light dim from his eyes.
"Why? Why? why? why? why? Is it always me!! Why do I have such a shitty life!!!"
I just wanted went for a walk but here I am coming home looking like a monster.
"This is it"

The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***

Shall we see what happens next? -------------- Some notes from Me (The author, gasp surprise): I first wrote this (100k) as an experiment. I saw the advice about having foils for overpowered MCs, and I watched quite a few lectures on writing. I wanted to test things out for myself and see if I could carry a story through other ways than only relying on physical conflict like some thrillers do. Thus this might lean a bit towards slice of life with a romance subplot, but I don't want to give my story away so read it if u want to know more. This was basically never intended for anyone else's eyes but my own, and written to explore writing as a process. This wasn't my attempt at writing a good book, but it turned into something that I think might interest some people, so I decided to pop it up here. It is slightly old so my style and writing skills have advanced considerably since I first started this thing. Having said that, I think it's pretty readable, but I am very interested in how other people will receive this. Please feel free to criticize it and just in general shoot me some feedback on what you think. It contains light Litrpg elements, not heavy table spam, it's just the basis of the world. Although I like that sort of thing, this was written before I even knew of Royalroad and hadn't considered litrpg much. Some of you may recognize that it was slightly inspired by Overlord. Also, the Tags for sexual content and traumatizing content are there as a precaution on all of my stories pretty much, even if my story does not contain any of that at the moment. I can't really know what the future will bring, but in the case of this story I do know a little bit, since I wrote 100k words before posting it here. And I just posted it on a whim because I figured some readers on Royalroad might enjoy this story.
