Izzy's PoV:
I woke up next to Mitch, I suddenly realised that this was weird and wrong, we shouldn't be sleeping like this.
"I'm sorry Mitch but we shouldn't be doing this!" I said getting up.
Mitch got up as well and started walking towards me. I ignored him and walked towards the door. However, Mitch got ahead of me and blocked my path.
"Oh, that's fine." He said. I breathed out, I had thought that he was going to do something else. I walked past him towards the door again, but he stuck his arm out and pulled me back in front of him.
"But don't you want to see this?!" He said gesturing to his body. He was beautiful but I wasn't ready for that.
"We can still have a relationship, but a normal one. Not sleeping together, not yet." I said.
"What if I don't work like that." He said coming closer. I stood still not wanting to back down and show how scared I was. His face was inches for mine, he grabbed my hips and pushed me up against the wall. Pushing his body against mine, kissing me. I tried to push him away but he was much stronger than me.
"Hey! Get off her!" Someone yelled, I felt Mitch being pulled off me and I sank into a corner. I looked up to see Sqaishey between me and him.
"I'm just loving my beautiful girlfriend." Mitch said to Sqaishey.
"She's not your girlfriend anymore." Sqaishey said firmly.
"That's okay. I think I've found a replacement." Mitch said slyly. Moving towards her. He reached out trying to kiss her. She pushed his hand away before backing into the corner with me.
"Come on girls! One of you must want me!" He said moving towards us again.

Suddenly the door to the room flung open and Squid and Stampy ran in, closely followed by Ash and James. Squid and Ash tackled Mitch as soon as they ran in.
Stampy and James came over to us. I could feel Sqaishey breathing heavily next to me. Stampy helped her up and took her out of the room while James picked me up and carried me out. I wrapped my arms around him and kept my face buried into his shoulder trying to forget what had just happened.
I trusted Mitch and he just went against that! I started crying into James's shoulder and I just couldn't stop. We followed Stampy and Sqaishey into their room where Stampy sat with Sqaishey trying to comfort her and James stayed with me. We sat on the bed and I kept face in his side, he had his arm around me but I couldn't stop crying.
A few minutes later I felt someone pulling me away from James, I turned to look at them and I saw that it was Squid. I let go of James and threw my arms around Squid, he sat down on the bed next to James and I sat on his lap. I had my arms around him and I could hear Sqaishey crying on the other side of the bed.
"I'm so s...sorry s...s...squid. It's all m...my fault." I sniffed.
"How's it your fault?" He said in his calming voice. I told him everything apologising at the end of every sentence.
I couldn't look him in the eyes and see the disappointment in his face as I knew that it would be there.
"Izzy look at me." Squid said. He didn't sound cross so I looked. Instead of the disappointment that I thought I would see, he was smiling at me.

"Although you shouldn't have done that you realised that it was wrong and tried to stop it. Also I should've been fairer to you when I first saw you two together and not got as cross as you are only being young." He said. I nodded, at least he wasn't angry with me.
I was told that Mitch had been taken back to a secure care home. Unfortunately I had to go back to the normal one, Squid had called Julie and told her what had happened so she wanted me to go back there immediately.
James had offered to go with us so we all got into Squid's Car and he drove us to the care home. It took us about 2 hours but eventually we got there. We went in and, as usual, we were greeted by the frenzy of kids asking what had happened. I backed away from them and into Squid, not wanting to talk to them. Squid lifted me up and carried me to the office as Adam, the head care worker, ushered everyone away. I looked for Flo but I couldn't see her which was weird, usually she would be there to say hi to me.
Julie asked the usual about if I was okay and what he was trying to do and then she gave me a lecture on safety with boys and stuff but I wasn't really listening, I was thinking about Flo and reasons why she might not have been there to say hello.
When Julie finally finished her lecture I asked her,
"Where's Flo?"
Julie looked at Adam who stood up and came over to me, he put his hand on my shoulder and knelt down in front of me.
"She is in hospital - she got hit by a car."

Twisted Skies
After his master's death, Thurain leaves his rural home behind and travels to Heliana, the cramped city founded on the scientific progress of cultivation. Under a fake name, he aims to enter the Elemental Path Sect, the place of his master's death, to find both his killers, and closure. However, surrounded by the strange and horrible wonders of Heliana and its mixture of heroes and villains, his master's death is not the only murder he may have to solve. --- First attempt at a xianxia novel from me. To shake things up from the usual formula, the setting is more steam-punk than you might expect, and there are elements of murder mystery mixed in with the standard formula (though I'm not entirely sure yet how far to go with it.) I wrote this a while ago for NaNoWriMo, only posting it now for various reasons. Enjoy. Also, cover is highly temporary. I'll probably replace it with something nicer eventually.
