《Demugad In The Battee of Blood》ANNABETH'S Specialty

"Nico..." I whisper to Percy as we got onto the elevator.
"What about him?" Of course Percy wouldn't catch onto what I was implying.
"He is the only one not in the games. Will told me he volunteered, so now I'm wondering if Nico got reaped and he volunteered." Percy just stood there.
"Oh, yeah, I talked to Will and he said Nico was in district 12. But the boy from 12 doesn't look like Nico, he looked like he ate and he slept, and we know Nico doesn't do that. It takes all of Will's energy to have him eat one meal at camp." He made a point, and I saw the boy from 12, besides it's good to not have everyone in the arena.
"Yeah, umm I'm going to get some extra sleep tonight and get to the training center early tomorrow to get some practice before everyone one else gets there so I can observe. So night Percy." I walk out of the elevator and straight to my room. I slam the door shut by accident and jump onto my bed. I sat there for a few minutes while I just thought about the games. The one person that could tell us who was near death wasn't here.
I was at the training center around 5 am, normally the first people to get there are Reyna and Maverick, but they haven't gotten there until 7 in the past. This gave me 2 hours to train on my own. I grab a bow, the last time I was invested in a bow was when I was 14, to think I almost joined the hunters. These how's we're tight, brand new most likely. I grab an arrow and send it into the dummies shoulder, not impressive, but still good regarding how well rounded I can be. I keep shooting until I hit it in the chest.

I grab some knives next, I knew how to throw them, but I was always better at close combat, the reason I use a dagger. I throw it just hoping for it to stick, it lands on the right shoulder, so I do it again, left shoulder. This made it seem either intentional or like I was really bad. The next one landed on the throat, that made the rest seem intentional. I grab a trident, I never was good with these, district 4 helped me get a better understanding on how to use them. It was similar to the spear, just heavier and a slightly different stance. I could only get through those before Maverick comes in, he notices me. "So sugar, I see you got some skills."
"I am not your 'sugar'!" I say to him trying to walk past him.
"Why not, afraid your little partner would see? Only one of us is making it out alive, why not have some fun?" He grabbed my arm, I couldn't attack him so I had to make it seem like he did something. I scream in false pain, I yell, soon some men walk over and break his grasp on me. They walk away.
"I'm not a toy, go hit on some other girl, possibly a sponsor." I look to make sure no one is looking except possibly a game maker. He looks at me with puppy dog eyes. "Fine, you want a kiss?" He nods, I come close, grab him by the wrist and judo flip him, what it's my specialty.

Inside Metsys
Inside the universe of Metsys, life is chaotic, cruel and crazy. People with Stats have power and everyone wants to be a Player. Meet Corn, a slave who has no memory of most of his past and doesn’t know how most of the world functions. This doesn’t stop him from escaping the bonds of slavery by risking his life on a gamble. After all, he would risk everything for freedom and the right to be a mage. But how’s a scrub to learn Magic and get power? Why, join the magical under belly of the city, of course. And eat all the mana that he can get. Two Disclaimers: 1) This is a work of fiction. Any characters, places, organisations and everything else in this novel are fictional. Any resemblance between anything in this novel and the plane of reality we live in is purely coincidental. Was that a bit over the top and a wee bit unnecessary? Maybe. 2) This story features an antihero with a slight hint of villainy. So, sooner or later, it’s going to get dark. Very dark. Hence all the tags. If you are prone to be squeamish, this might not be for you. Well. You were warned. ;)
