After 'quitting' the music industry for good Dan has decided that he wants to become a fulltime actor, which is something he originally was asked to do before Bastille. Within a long period of time (and various casting auditions over the matter of 10 months) Dan finds out that he won the role on Twitter. The role he scored is the lead character of the last Marvel superhero flick - something Dan is fairly unfamiliar with.

For research purposes Dan teams up with a Charlie Everett, a co-star, who teaches him the purpose about the character. While Charlie and Dan's on-screen chemistry grows...so does their off-screen relationship.

Just when things seem perfect for the new celeb couple - everything turns awry - especially when the anniversary of the reason why Bastille broke up looms...
