《Looed and Lost You 》_Chapter Fifteen: Philadelphian Gods_

I sat straight up in my bed at the voice that rang through my phone. A voice I hadn't heard for years. "S-Scout? Is that you?" I asked eyes wide.
"Bingo. How have you been?" I stayed quiet. "H-how have I been? That's what you ask me after eight years? Where are you?" I asked getting out of bed. "Candy slow down. Answer me."
I stopped making my way over to the closet. "Uh...fine? I've been fine. Now, can you tell me where you are so I can meet you?" I asked putting her on speaker phone and getting changed. "Just sent you the address," Scout said as I almost fell pulling my pants up. "Alright. You said you are hunting a god? Who?" I asked putting my black undershirt on, then my blue shirt and then I put my brown leather jacket on. "Yeah...more like gods, plural."
I picked my phone up and looked at the address. "That sounds like fun. You're in Philadelphia. What gods would want to go there?" I asked taking her off speakerphone. "More than you would think. How long will it take you to get here?" She asked me. "It depends on how I'm traveling. I could easily get there today in a few hours. I've been driving that way for a while now." I lied.
"Nice, Okay. I'll let you go alright. I'll see you soon." She said hanging up. I sighed and put my phone in my pocket. I quickly put my shoes on and started to pack a bag of clothes. When I was done with that I walked out of the room and down the stairs. "Balthazar. You home?" I called out to him. Balthazar walked out of the kitchen.
"Is something the matter?"
"No, it's just...I need to leave for a few days." Balthazar crossed his arms. "Why?"

"My sister...she just called. She needs help with a case." Balthazar thought for a few minutes.
"Only if you bring Loki."
"Did someone say my name?" We both looked over to find Loki standing there. "Why?" I asked Balthazar. "Because I can't have you leaving without someone watching you. Don't you remember you have angels looking for you." I sighed but nodded. "Where to Candy?" Loki asked wrapping his arm around my neck.
"Philadelphia. Come on. I have to get weapons out of my car." I said walking out the front door followed by Loki. I opened the back door and then went into the backseat. Grabbing a few weapons I put them in my black bag. "Oh crap. Would you mind zapping up to my room and grabbing my gray bag?" I asked looking up at him.
"Yep." He said snapping his finger and disappearing. I closed my car door and swung my bags over my shoulders. Loki reappeared in front of me holding my bag. "Thanks. Okay. Hold on tight. I've never done long distance teleportation before." I took hold of his hand and in the blink of an eye, we were gone.
We reappeared in front of an old motel just on the side of a highway. I took my phone out and looked to see what room number she was in. "Isn't your sister going to be asking about your car? And how you got here?" I looked up at him nodded. "You're right." And then in the blink of an eye, my car was parked in one of the parking spaces.
"Have you been practicing without me?" Loki asked with a smile.
"Maybe, maybe not," I said with a smirk before heading over to room B9. When I stood in front of the door I hesitated to knock. "Your sister is going to be really happy you came Cansas. She wouldn't have called you if she didn't want to see you." I looked over at Loki and then to the door. I knocked and we waited for a few minutes.

The down swung opened and I was attacked in a hug which caught me off guard. The familiar smell of home filled my senses. She pulled away and I looked up at the older woman. She had short blonde hair, brown eyes, and a long scar that ran from her right ear all the way down to her left shoulder. "Oh, you look good Cansas." She said running a hand through my hair.
When Scout finally noticed Loki she crossed her arms. "And you brought a friend." I looked up at him and then back to my sister. "Scout this is Loki..." Loki held his hand out for Scout to shake it. Scout just looked at his hand.
"It's nice to meet you," Loki said with a smile as he pulled his hand back.
"Loki as in the trickster?" Scout asked looking over at me. "Um...yeah. But before you do anything crazy he's fine. He's not bad." I said slightly standing in front of him.
"So if he's not handing out just desserts then do you just carry him around in your purse like a chihuahua?"
"I like to think I'm more of a golden retriever," Loki said resting his arm on my shoulder. I looked to my sister then to Loki. I gave him a look that said stop! and I pushed his arm off me.
"He's been helping me with work," I said with a slight smile. She stayed quiet for a while.
"As long as that's what's going on." She said turning and walking into the room.
Loki and I looked at each other before heading into the room. I closed the door behind myself and looked to see Scout grabbing three beers. She handed each of us one and I unscrewed mine.
"You weren't kidding when you said you were close. It barely took you an hour." She said taking a sip of her drink. "Yeah. I was heading this way to meet up with the Winchesters." I lied taking a sip of my drink. "But they'll be fine. They can handle whatever they are dealing with."
"The Winchesters. Please tell me you weren't there when they opened that devil's gate." She said sitting down on the bed. "Um...no. Dean wouldn't let me go." I said putting my left hand in my pocket. "Good. And...they treated you well right?" She asked with sadness in her voice. I nodded. "Y-yeah...they did." Scout nodded as well.
"Good, good...anyway. Who's hungry?" Scout asked placing her beer on the table and standing up. "Oh me," I said doing the same. "How about you start my car up." I nodded, took Scouts keys and walked out to the car.

Loki went walk out but I pulled out a knife and pinned him to the wall. "What in-"
"What the hell are you?" I asked staring daggers at him. "What? I don't know what you're-" Growling I cut him off.
"You're not a god! You walked right through the door. I warded this room against gods! Now, what the hell are you?" I whisper shouted. Loki stayed quiet for a while as if he were thinking.
"You're right. You're right I'm not a god...It's me. Your winged friend."
