《Looed and Lost You 》_Chapter Twenty-two: Smited...Smote?_

"Castiel is the leader of my flock...How do you know his name? Cansas, what is going on?"
I watched as the ambulance pulled up and medics rushed into the house. "He just fricken smited our psychic!" I shouted as I paced back and forth.
"He killed a human? Why?"
"He didn't kill her. He just burned her eyes out of her skull! He pulled Dean out of Hell Balthazar!" I shouted but lowered my voice as the people inside rushed Pamela into the back of the ambulance. Bobby hopped in his car and drove after the ambulance. I saw Sam and Dean standing on the pouch.
"Well, then he didn't smite her. What were you doing?"
"We had a seance because she wanted to see what grabbed Dean out of Hell." Dean and Sam started to make there way over to me. "There's your problem right there. Normal humans can't look at our true forms."
"Who are you talking to?" Dean asked as the brother got to me. "Um...my bubby...Bart. We've seen this type of thing before. Still, don't know what it is though." I lied looking up at him. "Hey, Bart I'm going to have to talk to you later."
"Bart? What-" I hung the phone up before he could say anything else. "This thing must be pretty badass if with one sneak peek it burns your eyes out." I put my phone away and stretched my head. "Tell me about it," Dean said getting into his car.
Sam got in the passenger seat and I got in the back. We all started in silence for a while before Sam spoke. "Cansas...what did Pamela mean by your kind?" He looked at me slightly. I froze. What should I say? I can't tell them. I'll just be another monster on their list.

"I don't know. She said something about energy...maybe my boyfriends just rubbing it off on me." I said making Dean groan. "Not this again." Sam looked to Dean and then me.
"Since when do you have a boyfriend?"
"Last year," Dean replied making me chuckle. "Who?" Sam asked with a smirk. My eyes met Dean's in the mirror. Sam wouldn't take this well. "Um...so you remember that trickster?" I rubbed my arm as Sam's smile turned into a frown.
"Him? Out of all the people and monsters, you chose him? He killed Dean! He tried to kill you!" Sam shouted.
"I mean he is a demigod...kind of in the tricker name don't you think?" I asked with a nervous chuckle. Sam didn't say anything in response. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.
"Look, Sam...I know you hate him. And you have every right to. But I really like him. He's nice to me, Sam. Nicer than any guy has...and I'll keep it on the down low as well. You two never have to see each other again."
Silence rang through the car.
"...As long as I don't hear or see him. You like whoever you like Cansas." I sighed looked out the window.
We drove to a local dinner in town. Once Dean parked the car we all got out. As I was about to walk in my phone started to ring. "You're a popular one," Dean said opening the diner door. "Yeah...I'll meet you two inside." They nodded and walked in. Taking my phone out of my pocket I looked to see it was Balthazar.
"What part of talking to you later do you not understand?" I asked walking slowly down the sidewalk.

"I know full well what it means. I just needed to tell you to stay away from Castiel. If he finds you, he will kill you."
I nodded my head. "Yep. I know. All angels want to kill me except you. I got to go-"
"Cansas. I'm serious. If you see him run away. And please don't kill him. He is a dear friend of mine."
"I don't have any reason to kill him. Anyway, I don't know how to kill angels. And just to make you happy I'll leave if he shows. Is that all you needed to tell me?"
Balthazar sighed on the other end of the phone.
"Do you know when you plan on getting back?"
"I don't know...soon maybe? I just want to make sure Dean and Sam are fine..."
"Alright dear. Be safe."
"Yep, see ya." I then hung up and walked back to the dinner. As I walked in I put my phone in my pocket. I stopped when someone closed the door behind me and locked it. I turned back to find a man...with a demon's face. Everyone in the room was a demon.
"This day just keeps getting better and better." I looked back to the center of the room to find Sam and Dean sitting at a table where another demon sat with them. "You two know their demons right?"
They both nodded. "It's Cansas right?" She asked standing up.
"What's it to you." She walked over and smirked.
"It's strange...I'm surprised considering who your daddy is your still so...soft, friendly, nice." I looked over to Sam and Dean who stared confused.
"What's his name?" I asked looking back at the rotting faced demon. She smirked again before turning around. "Why would I tell you?" I clenched my fists.
"Because I'll do you a favor and not kill you." The demon chuckled and turned back to me.
"I'm not scared of a little an-" I snapped my fingers making Sam and Dean disappear.
"If they didn't know, they do now." I grabbed her by the throat and pressed her against a wall. The other demons got ready to fight.
"You should be scared...so should your little friends...I could snap my fingers and eradicate you. Now tell me his name."
The demon looked behind me at the others and then back.
"C-Crowley...his name is Crowley. King of the crossroads."
