"What do you mean you're going to be gone for a while? How long is a while?" I asked following Gabriel down the stairs.
"Maybe a few days. I promise you I'll come back." He said turning to face me. I crossed my arms over my chest.
"Gabriel. I can't have you going out and getting yourself killed. Let me come with you at least." Gabriel shook his head and walked down the rest of the stairs. "No. I can't have you going and getting yourself killed. And now that you have more demons added to the list of things that what you, I most definitely don't want you going out."
"I can handle myself, Gabriel... Just tell me where you're going. You owe me that much." Gabriel stopped and faced me again. "You won't like it, Candy Cane." I sighed.
"It's about the Winchesters isn't it?" He looked away from me and I took hold of his hands. "Angel...I can't stop you from trying...you're an archangel, you can do whatever you want. If you truly think...think that them saying yes is going to end this-then give it all you got, because I want it over too. I don't think fighting is for me anymore." I said with a sad chuckle.
Gabriel pulled me into a hug and we held each other tightly. "God, I love you," I said tightening my grip on his jacket. "I love you more." I rolled my eyes and pulled away from the angel.
"Go before I chain you to a chair," Gabriel smirked and wiggled his eyebrows. "Sounds kinky. I might just stay." He said wrapping his arms around my waist. "Go." I chuckled. Gabriel still smirking pecked me on the lips.
"I hope that offer still stands when I get back." And then I was home alone. The silence ate at my brain. So when someone knocked on the door, I opened it fast. The neighbor stood in the doorway holding a gift basket. This would be perfectly normal, only it wasn't the neighbor. It was a demon.

"What do you want?"
"We come bearing gifts." The familiar voice of Quinn said walking out from behind my demon neighbor. "Courtesy of Lucky the Leprechaun." She said walking into my house with her demon friend following. When they went to walk past the doormat they were stopped.
"Devils trap. Forgot about that." She said with a sigh. I shut the door and walk around them. "Why are you here?"
"Like I said. Crowley sent us here to give you this." She said taking the basket from my neighbor. Quinn held it out for me to take it. I took it and saw it was filled with baby things like diapers, clothes, and baby bottles. It was also filled with candy and snacks.
"He also wanted us to help you sent up the baby room." She said with an eye roll. "Like I'm a common maid. Well, you are." She looked over at the other demon who just stood there.
"I'm not going to have a baby," I said placing the basket on the ground.
"You're baby belly says otherwise. That thing is growing like a weed. It's only been like, what? A week since I last saw you." I looked down at my stomach to see she was right. It wasn't too big. I was nowhere near that. How is it that they know, but Gabriel and the other angels don't?
"How do you know? I'm around angels all day and they don't seem to know."
"Maybe because you're shielding it from them. That thing is wafting power off like crazy. It's a good thing this place is warded. You'd have demons and angels on your ass left and right." I looked away from the demons. How was I shielding it?
"So...are you going to let us out of here or what?"
"Where's Crowley?" I asked looking back at the demons. Quinn looked up at the ceiling and groaned. "Busy. That's why he sent us." I lifted the doormat and scratched a bit of the red trap off. "Thank you," Quinn smirked and walked out of the trap while the other one walked to the side, not saying a word.

"What does he not talk or something?" Quinn looked over at the neighbor demon who just stared at nothing. "He's one of Crowley's heavyweights...they're not so bright upstairs..." The demon still didn't do or say anything.
"Anyway, where is the baby's room gonna be? Let's get it up and running so I can leave with big mouth over there."
"I'm not going to be setting a baby room up. And I don't need demons help to do it." Quinn held her hands up.
"Hey, no big deal. I'll gladly leave." When she started to walk out of the door I stopped her.
"I hope you know I'm not letting what you did go. I'm letting you live so I can hunt you down myself." Quinn smirked and saluted me.
"I wouldn't doubt it baby mama. Let's go." The demon walked after her and they both walked out of the door. I clenched my fists. I couldn't wait to wipe that smirk off her face.
The sound of flapping wings snapped me out of my daze. "Why does it reek of demon in here?" Balthazar asked walking up to me.
"Somehow my 'father' got our address. Sent two of his minions to send me this." I picked up the basket and showed it to him. He took it from me. "Did you tell him?"
"That's the thing. You're the only one that knows. They think I might be shielding it from angels. But I don't how I would be...unless-" I looked up at Balthazar who looked at me.
"Unless the baby's shielding itself," I placed my hand on the back of my head.
"That would explain why it's growing at the rate it is..." I shook my head at him.
"No...I-I don't want it to be like me. It can't be like me." Balthazar placed the basket down on the side table and then placed his hands on my shoulders. "What did you expected this child to come out human? It has you as it's mother and Gabriel as it's father. It's going to be one power charged baby."
"W-what am I going to do?"
"For starters...you need to tell Gabriel." I shook my head and looked away. "The sooner he knows the sooner he can help you." I used my sweatshirt sleeve to wipe the tear that fell.
"H-he's going to hate me..." Balthazar turned my head so I was looking him in the eyes.
"He will not hate you. Cansas, Gabriel loves you so much. He would never hate you over something as simple as a child." I nodded my head.
"Y-you're r-right..." I cleared my shaky voice. "I need to tell him." Balthazar smiled down at me but his smile turned into a frown.
"Speaking of Gabriel-where is he?"
"Good question. I'll go get him." Before I could go anywhere Balthazar stopped me.
"No, you don't."
"Balthazar. I don't need his location to find him. I'll grab him and come back. It won't take longer than 3 minutes." He shook his head with a sigh.
"3 minutes. That's how long you get." I smiled up at him.
"Yep." And then I was gone in the blink of an eye. I reappeared in a room with loud cheering and bright lights. Looking around I saw I was sitting in a stadium. Down below on the stage stood Sam and Dean strapped to two silver platforms.
"Let's play 'Nut-cracker'!"

The watcher of universe and stuff.
The most devastating thing to an eternal being must be boredom. If nothing can change you, how can you yourself change? Sometimes you have to learn that the hard way. I should point out that there are multiple lead characters and they will all have their own personalities and motivations. While the story will focus more on our MC Trey, you can expect multiple POV switches. If you do not like POV switches, this might not be for you. My first book. If anyone will ever read this, be so kind as to leave a comment. Even, if all you say is an insult. As long as I can improve this work by your comment, it's all fine. One thing’s for sure. I will keep writing as if my reader can handle curse words without curling into a little ball and repeatedly saying: "Leave my safe-space alone, you monster". Therefore, you can expect some profanity.

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
