《Looed and Lost You 》_Chapter Forty-one: Wish we could turn back time_

Weeks later- Present time
"What do you mean the baby is coming!?" Gabriel asked as I used him as support.
"It means-" I hissed in pain. "The baby's coming fast and furious!"
Earlier that day
"We can't just paint it random colors." Gabriel groaned and put the color swatches on the ground beside him.
"But we don't even know what the baby's going to be. So I thought we would just color it every color." I raised my eyebrows at this. "Well, then we won't paint it until the baby's born," I said rolling on my back and then onto my feet.
"Of come on Candy Cane. Can't we just find out now?" I shook my head.
"I thought we agreed not to know until it was born," I crossed my arms over my chest. Gabriel groaned and he face planted on the ground. "You won't have to wait that much longer. This baby's growing fast and it's not slowing down. I'm thinking any day now." I said patting my baby belly.
"But that's such a long wait. I really want to know now." He said scooting over to me. Gabriel placed his hands on either side of my stomach and placed his ear on the top.
"Hey, baby. You think you could come soon? I promise you, there will be tons of candy." I chuckled and ran a hand through Gabriel's hair.
"Are you bribing the baby?" Gabriel looked up at me. "Maybe..." I rolled my eyes as he stood up.
"So, what next?" Gabriel asked me so I shrugged.
"I don't know. We could go eat. Or we could sit down and decide on a color." Gabriel's eyes widened a bit at that.
"Eat. Let's go eat."
Present time
"I wasn't serious, baby! I was joking!" Gabriel said panicked. He still hadn't tried to get help.
"Gabriel...Gabe...Angel..." He was pacing now.
"Gabriel!" I shouted making him stop and look back at me. "Get Balthazar." His eyes turned blue for a second before they turned back to their butterscotch color.
"He's on his way."
Earlier that day
"Hello, dove." Gabriel stood up from the table we sat at as Crowley and Quinn walked over. I grabbed a bit of his jacket and shook my head.
"It's not worth it." Gabriel stared daggers at the demons before sitting back down.
"What do you two want?" Crowley sat down next to Gabriel, who face scrunched up in disguise. Quinn sat down next to me and I fought the urge to punch her square in the face. Crowley pulled out a hellhound stuffed animal.
"Baby's first toy." He slid it over the table so it was sitting in front of me.
"Is this all you came to do?"
"No. I came to see what you decided. Would you like me to go over-"
"I remember. You want me to kill Lucifer-" Before I could continue Gabriel butted in.
"Deal off. No one is going to go near him. He will kill you." Crowley rolled his eyes and then turned to look at Gabriel.
"You must be Gabriel." Gabriel narrowed his eyes at the demon.

"What's it to-"
"You see Gabriel, if Cansas does this one little thing for me, I'll pull her out of purgatory. And that little baby in there is yours, am I mistaken?"
"It-"
"You don't want your child to go to that awful place. I'll pull him, her out as well." Gabriel was silent but I could feel the anger radiating off him.
"You don't think I can do that?"
"I know you can but last time I checked you angels don't have a direct doorway to purgatory. It takes you years, if not centuries to pull someone out. I can get them out in mere seconds." Gabriel was quite.
"Cansas is going nowhere near my brother,"
"Gab-" He cut me off.
"I'll kill him." My eyes widened.
"Are you crazy! No!" Gabriel looked over at me.
"And who else is going to kill him? The Winchesters? Those two muttonheads are going to make it worse. And we had a deal you wouldn't go anywhere near my brother. Cansas, he's right. I'm not going to be able to pull you out fast enough." I stared narrowly at him for awhile.
"Part of our deal was you wouldn't go near him either. I'm sorry father. Deal off. It was nice meeting you. Now go before I make a scene." Crowley sat there for a moment before getting up.
"If you ever change your mind. You have my number. Quinn lets go." Quinn stuffed a french fry into her mouth and stood up. Crowley stared at her dumbfounded.
"What?"
"We've talked about this. Image Quinn. Im-You know what just get out." She rolled her eyes and walked out of the dinner. Crowley followed after her with a heavy sigh.
Present time
"Cansas. Take deep breaths." Gabriel said kneeling down next to me.
"Holy mother! Where's Balthazar!" I shouted looking over to Gabriel. His eyes turned blue again before they turned back.
"He's being held up. So are the medics. Raphael-" I groaned in pain and rested my head on the pillow behind me. The house then started to shake. Pictures fell off the walls as silverware fell out of the cabinets in the kitchen.
"No offense Gabe, but your brother sucks." Gabriel chuckles a bit.
"He's always been like that." The door opened behind us and smashed into the wall. In walked several demons. Gabriel stood up and pulled his angel blade out.
"Hello, dove," I growled at the voice.
"I swear if you came to make deals Crowley-" I squeezed my eyes shut and grabbed Gabriel's hand.
"I came to help. You can call your guard dog off."
"You? Help? You're a demon, what are you going to do?" Gabriel said as he scared off the demons that got close to me.
"I heard your angelic doctors couldn't make it. So I bought mine. How about you bring her upstairs before she rips the whole house apart."
"G-Gabriel...just do it."
Earlier that day
"Why did you do that?" I asked Gabriel as we walked into the house.
"Do what? Try to save you from Purgatory? Cansas, there are evil things in there. Things my father thought were too dangerous for us angels. If killing my brother means getting you out of that I would do it a thousand times." I sighed and pulled him into a hug.

"But I don't want you to have to go through killing your brother..." Gabriel held me tighter. We stayed like that until pain erupted in my stomach. I pulled away with a gasp. Gabriel looked down at me worried. I used him as supported and he held me up.
"What's wrong? What happened?"
"T-the baby...it's coming!"

I paced the hallway outside of Cansas's room. Her shouts dug a deep hole in my stomach.
"Don't worry, wings. My staff know what they're doing." I glared over at Crowley who had helped himself to some of our wine.
"Did I need your two cents, Demon? No." Crowley just rolled his eyes and took another sip of his wine. The sound of flapping wings was heard and I looked over to find Balthazar standing there with a few other angels.
"Where's Cansas?" He asked walking over to me. He looked down at Crowley with a look of disgust. "And why are there demons in our house, drinking my wine?"
"You guys took too long so they show up and offered to help."
"And you let them?"
"They really didn't have a choice," Crowley said butting into the conversation. The house shook more violently and the lights broke around us. A wave of power washed over the whole house making us all freeze. Cansas's shouts died down and the sound of a baby crying was heard from inside her room. Everyone turned towards the door.
The door opened and a demon walked out. On sight of seeing the other angels in the house, her eyes turned black. I went to take my child from the demon but the angels behind Balthazar walked over and took the bundle of screaming blankets from her before I could.
"Is Cansas alright?" I asked trying to see over the flocking angels.
"She's fine. Burnet out. But fine." The rest of the demons that were in the room came out and walked over to Crowley.
"Well. It's been fun, but you angels seem to have it under control. We'll find our way out." And with that, the demons left. Two of the four angels walked into the room to check on Cansas. One of the last remaining angels walked over to Balthazar and whispered something in his ear. His eyes widened and my heart sunk a little.
"What's wrong. Let me see my child." My kid was handed over to Balthazar who walked over to me. "Gabriel...We need to talk..."
****
"I'm fine," I said pushing the angels away from me. I tried sitting up but the angel pushed me back down. "Bubby. I'm fine. I feel fine."
"You're weak. You need to rest so you can heal yourself." He said making me roll my eyes.
"Can I see my kid at least?" I had only seen a bit of my baby's face and it was beautiful. "Gabriel will bring her in." My eyes widened a bit.
"Baby's a girl?" The angel nodded.
"Yes. Now can you please rest?" I gave a heavy sigh and laid back down.
"Happy, Terminator?" The angel narrowed his eyes in confusion and I just rolled my eyes. "Nevermind." Another angel walked into the room and gestured for them to leave.
"Rest." The angel said before walking out of the room. I waited until he was out to sit back up again. Gabriel walked in holding our baby in his arms. He closed the door and walked over to me. His face was full of sorrow and pain making my heart hurt.
"G-Gabriel...whats wrong?" I asked as he sat down on the bed.
"W-we decided on Halo if it was a girl r-right?" I nodded my head. He took one last look at our baby before handing her over to me. I carefully took Halo in my arms and instantly smiled. She looked like Gabriel's vessel.
When she opened her eyes they were dark blue with bits of gold in them. She reached a hand up and I let her take hold of my pinky finger.
"Hey baby girl," I said with a slight chuckle. She gurgled at this. I felt something move under the blanket so I moved it to see three very fluffy golden-brown wings. Just like Gabriel's.
Two wings were attached to her shoulder blades while one sat under the right wing. But when I looked at them closer I saw something that shouldn't be there. Black and blue spots were at the base of her wings as well as on parts of her back.
"G-Gabriel...what is that?" I ran a hand over it and Halo let out an uncomfortable cry. I pulled my hand away fast and looked over to Gabriel.
"A-Angel?" Gabriel stared at the wall behind him.
"Angel. What is that? Is it just...spots? A-Angel look at me." When he turned to look at me his eyes had gotten puffy red. Tears threatened to fall from his eyes.
"Candy Cane..." He looked like he was trying to find the words to say.
"H-Halo's power...it's...killing her..." My heart stopped. My mind raced. This couldn't be happening. I started to shake my head.
"No...NO! You can heal her. It will be fine. We can heal her. There are at least a dozen angels out there. Someone can heal her." Tears fell down Gabriel's cheeks.
"T-They couldn't heal her...I-I...couldn't heal her..." I stared at him in disbelief. This couldn't be happening...Halo started to make happy little baby noises so I looked down at her. Tears formed and fell from my eyes.
"H-How...l-long?" My voice started to break. I shouldn't have to be asking that...I should be happy. Dreaming about how she was going to get married and grow old.
"Maybe...the night...a day at the least..." A sob shook my body. Why? WHY! I placed my forehead on top of Halo's and she placed her hands on my cheeks. Gabriel wrapped his arms around me and I fell into his chest.

Miracle Angeliva
Spirits, or what people usually referred to as ghosts, are something that has always been with us since ancient times. Some people are gifted to see them. However, most of us can’t see them without training. And without seeing them, we won’t believe. People only believe what they see, after all. However, I assure you, spirits are real. Spirits are always there. Just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean they are not real. Just like people of ancient ages who can’t see bacteria or those who can’t see stars further than eyes can see, there are limits to our technology. Similarly, even though the current technology can’t prove the existence of supernatural beings, that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. In the future, if we can develop technology so everyone can see them just like how a microscope helps us seeing micro beings, I believe everyone will believe it too. That being said, I still can’t prove their existence yet. -Raleigh Von Vlad Update daily (if possible, if not, guaranteed chapters are on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) Thanks to gej302 for the fantastic cover!
