《Her Innocent Love》18. His house

Holidays have started, I'm going to miss Arjun since I cannot meet him like before since this is his last year.
Last week, after exam I went to see Arjun as that day was his birthday. Birthday is something awkward and unfamiliar for me and Sandya. We have never celebrated our birthday. Not only us but most of our orphanage kids. It's just feel like another day because we don't have parents who will remember our birthday and celebrate for us.
Sandya hates her birthday as her mother passed away on her birthday. She still believe it's all her fault and her misfortune cause her mother's life end.
I know my birthday and my name from the chain locket I wear. I have it around my neck since I came to orphanage. It's only thing I have in memories of my parents. It's lucky charm for me and I never took it off even when take bath.
So coming to Arjun's birthday, I buy him a diary for his birthday. Last year, I didn't give anything because I didn't know his birthday. It's still awkward for me to celebrates someone's birthday, I just gave him the gift and wish him.
(Her chain)
Yesterday's there have some small farewell party for final years student. Vinay looks so happy since last week, I think something happen between him and Sandya because Sandya also behave so weird, she will blushing with hearing his name only.
Before party, I manage brainwash Vinay to persuade Arjun to go his house and he succeeds.
So, here I am dressing elegantly as I can so I can make good impression with his family. I don't really feel nervous or panick like many other normal people when they visit their lover's family.
Moreover I feel so excited to meet his family because I wanted to know about him more and his family. I wore dark khaki colour dress which ends below my knees. Arjun wear white cotton shirt with black jeans. He look so cool and I always like him in white or black. The both colour really suits him very well and it's make him more dashing than he is.
Arjun and me were sitting in his white BMW and Vinay following us with his red Lamborghini. I kept talking all the way to his house and he just silent and didn't ask me to stop talking though.
We reach to a very posh elite people's area with big houses and high guarded. His house look so wonderful, luxurious and marvellous.

After I saw his house garage my jaw went to floor. It's so big with many expensive cars. I can tell he born with diamond spoon.
The living room of his house gives a warm welcome. It's felt like warm and love home. They are very large and decorated with large counters, expensive curtains, high class sofa and expensive looking arts.
From the living room we can see a large window that leads to terrace allowing to see their beautiful front garden. I fall in love in their gardens. They were well maintained and look beautiful. Their dining room look like some kind royal Parisian styles. They had a open space kitchen and separate room for their food storage. His house have their own gyms rooms, bar, playing area, laundry area and home theater.
If i was stay in his house, I won't even go out. They have everything in their own house. Suddenly a wave of uncomfortable and inferiority rush inside me.
For the first time I felt like I didn't deserve him, he took perfect for me. Why couldnt he be a normal person like me?. I don't want a negative thought eat me so I shook it off.
I met his mother, his grandmother and his younger sister, Yamuna. His mother is really sweet, his grandma look like she didn't like me to be here and Yamuna didn't said anything and she even didn't look at me. Her behaviour reminds of Arjun's and me meeting for second time in library. She is carbon copy of Arjun. I smile at my my thoughts.
Arjun's mother have same eyes and lips with Arjun grey blue orbs and cupid bow lips. She is fair, tall, oval shape face, black hair and wavy. She is so beautiful but she look sick. His sister look like younger version of his mother only thing is her eyes in hazel colour like Atharva and she not sweet as her mother and Aatharva.
I wanted to see his room but he didn't let me and also because I scared of his grandmother. She look me with some weird expressions and eyeing me like I'm a thief or something.
My instinct asked me to stay away from her. She look so beautiful with hazel eyes to call grandmother. If i meet her at street I probably will call her aunty. She look stylish and healthy. If there have any awards for stylish grandma she definitely would win.
I felt disturbing like I shouldn't come here under her gaze. Luckily I have Vinay with me so I manage to came out from that feeling.

(His house overall)
Currently I am sitting with his mother in garden sitting area with trees around us. Vinay and Arjun ditch me and went somewhere, his grandmother and his sister went to their rooms.
So it's just me and his mother, I feel comfortable with her and she gives warm vibes. She also talkative like me and she told me about her children's childhood and their mischievous when they was kid.
Again for the first time I felt so sad to be alone in this world without my parents with me. Maybe my mother also will like her telling my friends about me with glint of happiness in her eyes.
Suddenly his mother asked me "You like my son, did you?". I was shock to heard her question. Am I that oblivious?.
"Yes, I like him a lot really a lot. Why? You don't like me?. I asked her. She smile warmly at me and said "No!. Moreover I like you so much. You look like bright and happy kid which I wanted my children's to be". She said while keep looking at me with many emotions crossing her face. She look confused mostly. I don't know what to say for her reply so I just smile at her.
She then asked "Did we have met before? You look eerily familiar to me even your name too sound familiar".
"Really? Maybe you met my doppelganger". I said to her while smiling.
Suddenly I remembered what Vinay and Arjun told me at library before. So I asked her. "By any chance, you didn't mean that I'm look like Annie, right?".
For that she really laughing loud. "No, I doesn't mean that but now you mentioning Annie. You do look like her". She said and again burst out laugh. I also laugh with her as she look beautiful and her laugh is contagious.
She staring at me and said "Its actually not your face but your character happy go lucky, the way you smile and your eyes look similar to my childhood friend. He also just like you very bubbly". She said with sad smile. I don't why I felt like wanted to know more about her friend.
"Then, I wish I can meet him one day". I said with hoping can meet him. But her next words really hurt me. "He is no more in this world, sweetheart". She said with sad expression. I become sad suddenly and wanted to be alone.
Like understanding my feeling, she ask me to head inside and call Arjun to drop me at hostel. Vinay and Arjun came to living room after 5 minutes.
His mother drop her scarf on the floor, so I bent down to get her scarf and my chain came out from my dress. I didn't realise it until she ask me where does I got this while inspecting it as she know it. She look surprised.
I told her that this chain is the only thing I have as my parents memories. She staring me with shock expression, sad, dumbfounded and pain. Why she look at me like that?. I thought but I don't think much since she probably shock look at expensive designer chain belong to me.
Arjun and Vinay also look confused at her expression and her sudden behaviour but they also didn't said anything. So it's not only me felt weird with her.
Before I walk out, she hold my right arm and ask me to always come to visit her. I actually feel happy with her words but still it didn't overcame my sudden sadness. So, I give her small smile and told her to prepare my visit from today onwards. Arjun sighed looking at me like saying now nothing can stop you.
In the car I keep quiet and playing with my chain thinking about Mrs Vidya' s mysterious friend. I sighed and look at Arjun and he already staring me with what happen to you expression. I smile at him and went out from car walking to my room.
After talking to Sandya about my conservation and his mother and watching some funny videos and memes. I back to my normal but still her friend bothering me deep down.
Time pass really fast, the chances to meet Arjun was not like before. I have to persuade Vinay to bring me to his house and hospital as he always at there. I go to his house not because Arjun only but because his mother too.
I really enjoy my time when I with her. She so lovely and kind. His mother also tell me about Arjun's likeness and dislikes. His mother too look happy and comfortable with me. One thing about his mother, she become more sweet and lovable after our first meet. She always looking at me with some unknowing emotions in her eyes.

The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.

English is not my native language(excuses)) I don't know if this is the so-called Synopsis but it's better than nothing at all.Inspired by The legends of randidly Ghosthound, Everybody Loves Large Chests, Azarinth Healer and 13.Al. PS. Futanari incoming, do not worry not gonna make it sex novel or erotic, maybe some scenes, but that will come later in the novel or maybe not at all, but to be sure I checked the Sexual Content too.
