Rohit went behind him and dragged him back to the outhouse. He didn't want Sammy to hear all this.

"I have told u thousand times never leave our conversation incomplete" Rohit said in anger.

Virat shrugs of his arm in frustration.

"And I already u told u that conversation is over so technically i didn't leave it in half" said Virat irritated.

"Will u stop acting like a robot" Rohit yelled at him.

"I am normal, it's u who is acting weird" Virat said back.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Yelled Rohit

"Me ? what's wrong with you" asked Virat back.

"Nothing is wrong with me. You are acting weird and making me crazy Virat" said Rohit in complete frustration

"U being silent to everything, listening everything what they had to say" said Rohit.

"I don't remember u saying anything. And I know that u are affected too. But are u telling me anything what are u feeling" asked Virat mocking him.

"It's not a competition u idiot" said Rohit in complete frustration.

"Then why are u getting angry Ro, it doesn't matter anyway. I went there for you, nothing else matters to me now other than you" said Virat not caring about anything else than Rohit.

"It matters Vi" said Rohit.

"How can u not feel bad by seeing Jassi ? U saw how strong he was acting. U saw yourself in him, didn't u?" said Rohit remembering the conversation.

"KL was so sick because of all the guilt. And how broken he was without u. Can't u see that ?" Rohit said.

"U saw Hardik how broken he was. Didn't it break ur heart seeing him cry. Or u have become heartless now" Rohit said it again irritated by his silence.

Virat was still standing silently which irked Rohit. His phone rang to add to that frustration.

"What !!" Rohit yelled as he picked up the call

"Umm Rohit bhai it's me Jassi" said Jassi nervously hearing that tone of Rohit.

"Yes tell me" Rohit said changing his tone to soft.

"Are u going to come ? We thought we could have dinner together" said Jassi nervously.

"Ya we will come" Rohit said and hanged up the call not wanting to unload the anger on them.

Rohit sat on the couch burying his face in his hands feeling tired because of all this.

Virat sat beside him and took him into a side hug. Rohit just rested his head on his shoulder.

"It will be okay Ro" Virat said.

"No Vi, it will be not okay" said Rohit feeling so tired.

Rohit tried everything but Virat was still acting like nothing happened. He was tired and felt bad seeing him like that. He had to just wait now.

"Let's go now, we have to go for dinner at the hotel. Jassi called for that." Said Rohit and left from there.

Virat just sat on the couch resting his back.

"How should I explain this to Ro ! I cannot deny that I was not affected .. but it was not that much. It makes me feel so shallow that I am not able to feel their emotions at that level. Because it just takes me back when I was left alone with No one by my side and Rohit suffering in hospital."

"I am feeling so selfish right now for thinking this. But I am not able to forget when I saw Rohit in that state laying lifeless on the bed."

"Rohit is right I have become heartless. I can never forget Ro not getting up for a week and how helpless I felt. The fear of loosing him when doctor said that he should have woke up in 3 days but he didn't. The fear on Ritika's face I can't forget it."

"How scared I was .. that If something happened then what will I do. What will i tell my Sammy that I couldn't protect her Dada"

"No I can't forgive anyone.. I just can't!!"

Virat just grabbed the vase and slammed it angrily. Because that's the only emotion he felt right now - "anger" at himself for feeling like this.

He just sat there closing his eyes trying to calm himself.

After sometime Rohit came there again to check on him. He found vase shattered on the floor. He went to the couch and checked his hands which woke Virat up.

"Did u hurt yourself again?" Asked Rohit in worry.

"No, I didn't. I just hurted u I guess" said Virat looking at him.

"Get up we have to go" said Rohit and Virat followed him in the house.

Virat sighed at the silent treatment Rohit was giving him and he deserved it.

They bid bye to Ritika and Anushka. And sat in the car.

"Sorry Ro, I know I am acting like a jerk" said Virat looking at him.

"Glad u realise it" said Rohit with a neutral tone.

Virat just didn't know what to say to him. He just looked out of window.

Rohit felt bad about behaving like that with Virat. But he didn't want him to feel the guilt. Instead all of his frustration led him to behave like this.

They reached and Rohit went to KL's room. Virat was following him behind but stopped seeing Mahi going towards terrace.

Virat went behind him and saw him sitting there watching stars talking to a frame.

"I am so sorry .. I feel so helpless and tired now. I know I don't deserve ur forgiveness. But please try it's killing me. I have hurted u and Ro. It's me other than anyone else who have trusted u kiddos."

Virat felt like leaving but his heart advised him otherwise. He just stood there listening.

"I miss u so much. And I don't have the strength now to ask anything because I don't deserve it. I am so sorry. I just think that I am going to die with this guilt and never gonna get ur forgiveness."

Mahi said looking at the sky.

Virat heard that die statement and felt clogged with emotions. He just left from there not able to handle it. He just ran from the hotel.

Rohit went in the room and saw Jassi, KL and Hardik sitting silently lost in their own thoughts.

"U came" said Hardik delighted.

"Where is Virat bhai?" Asked Jassi.

"He was coming with me only." Said Rohit looking back but didn't find him.

Rohit called him but he was not picking his call. He went out of the room in worry and looked in the corridors.

He saw Mahi coming downstairs with tears in his eyes.

"Did u see Virat ?" He asked not thinking about the tears right now.

"No I didn't" said Mahi.

"Pick up the call u idiot" murmured Rohit in worry.

Rohit went back to the kids room with Mahi following him.

No one said anything.

"Pick up, pick up plz Vi." Rohit said pacing around and calling him.

"I am so sorry for saying all that and behaving that way. Please pick up the call" He sent a voice note to him.

Mahi and others were worried seeing him like that and Virat missing.

"Aman ! Check the office and see if Virat is there and also Try to track Virat's phone." Said Rohit calling Aman.

"Yes sir" Aman said.

"Come here at the ICT hotel I am waiting and don't inform Ritika or Anushka about it" instructed Rohit.

"Yes sir" said Aman.

"Where are u Vi?" Said Rohit in worry.

Mahi and others were too worried about it.

"Did something happen? Where did he go ? He never missed my call" murmured Rohit to himself.

He just sat on the couch burying his head in his hands. Mahi went to him and took him in a hug.

"Where did he go ? I can't loose him" said Rohit hugging him back.

"U will not loose him." Said Mahi rubbing his back to calm him down.

"Last time when one of us went in anger, it didn't end well" Rohit said hugging him tightly feeling the warmth and comfort after so many days.

"Don't think like that. Nothing will happen to him" Mahi said consoling him.

"I am scared Bhai" Rohit said with tears rolling from his eyes. He just buried himself in that hug.

Mahi was shocked to hear bhai from him. But he just hugged him and tried to be there for him.
