《Harry Hook X Reader X Carlos De Vil》Chapter 8

I knocked on Carlos and Jay's dorm room and the door opened, revealing the cute one.
"(Y/N)! What are you doing here?"
I smiled.
"Don't you guys remember that I'm your manager? I know you four don't like someone being 'clingy' but it's kinda my job."
"May I come in?"
I asked after a moment, waiting for him to let me enter.
He nervously opened the door wider, showing the other three.
"How'd you know we were here?" Mal asked as she had one of her hand on her hip while the other holds a book.
I shrugged.
"Just a hunch, I guess."
I walked inside and leaned on the wall next to the door.
They looked at eachother with a confused expression.
"Well? Aren't you guys going to class?"
I asked as I looked around the room.
That's unfair! Why do they have video games and a 3D printer?!
I pouted and noticed that Carlos was staring at me.
I looked at his direction and he cleared his throat.
"Come on, guys. We don't want to be late." Mal said as she walked out the room, the others following.
"Ladies first." Carlos said, making me laugh.
"So you think Jay's a girl?"
I walked out and Carlos walked beside me.
"Well, he sure looks like one."
"I heard that!" Jay yelled infront of us, making the both of us laugh.
"Do you have anything after walking us to our class?" Carlos asked next to me.
"Walk you? Oh! I forgot to tell you guys. I'm supposed to be Fairy Godmother's assistant but only until Ben's coronation."
I looked at him to see that he has a sad expression.
Before I questioned him about it, he looked at me and asked.
"Why only until Prince Ben's coronation?"

"Well, I'm originally Ben's secretary but with his proclamation, he ordered me to manage you guys. I guess I'm your secretary now."
I chuckled and look ahead of us.
"Maybe."
Carlos also chuckled and looked at me shyly.
"Hey, uh, are you dating someone?"
I gave him a confused expression as to why he'd ask that kind of question.
"I was just curious! Don't get me wrong, it's not like I have a crush on you or something."
Carlos defended, raising his hands.
I giggled and felt a blush creeping up onto my cheeks.
"No, I'm not dating someone right now."
I looked at him and to see him trying to hide his smile.
~~~
I tried to stay awake as I stand next to the chalkboard.
This class makes me want to live on the Isle.
"If someone hands you a crying baby, do you:
A) Curse it?
B) Lock it in a tower?
C) Give it a bottle? or
D) Carve out its heart?" Fairy Godmother asked.
Even they can know what's the difference between those answers.
Evie raised her hand.
"Evie!"
"What was the second one?" She asked instead of answering the headmistress' question.
Fairy Godmother's smile slightly faltered.
"Oh, okay. Anyone else? Mal?"
I looked at Mal who was, I think, drawing something.
"C, give it a bottle."
"Correct. Again." Fairy Godmother said, smiling at her.
"You are on fire, girl." Carlos said from across from her.
"Just pick the one that doesn't sound like any fun." I heard Mal say like it's the obvious thing.
Which it was.
I saw Jane walk in and yelp when she passed the VK's, making me roll my eyes at her.
I'm much better than her, why did Ben even made her his secretary? Calm down, (Y/N). It's just temporary.
"Hello dear one."
Her mother greeted as if she was a scared and helpless animal.
"Hi!"
Jane looked at my way awkwardly then back at the VK's.
"You need to sign an early dismissal for the coronation." Jane said, not looking at her mom as she gave her the papers.
I saw Mal nudge Evie.
"Everyone here remembers my daughter, Jane." Headmistress introduced, only making her daughter to whine.
"Mom!"
I rolled my eyes at this.
"It's okay!" Fairy Godmother reassured her.
"Jane, this is everyone."
She pushed Jane towards them.
"Hi." Jane greeted them, fear lacing her voice.
"That's okay, don't mind me. As you were."
Jane then walked out, yelping again once she passed the VK's.
"Let's continue!" Fairy Godmother said as she dramatically asked the next question.
I shook my head and crossed my arms infront of my chest.
The two boys fought after Jay answered the question, making me slightly giggle.
"Boys."
Fairy Godmother tapped her stick on the table, "Boys!"
This time she made her voice louder, Jay and Carlos finally stopped.
"I am gonna encourage you to use that energy on the tourney field."
I straightened my back, Fairy Godmother catching my attention.
"Oh, no. That's okay, whatever that is we'll pass." Carlos said as Jay got off on top of him.
"(Y/N) here is the team's assistant coach, I'm sure they need new members." Fairy Godmother stated, making the boys' and my eyes widen.
I walked closer to them.
"Wait, what?"
I looked between at the boys and Fairy Godmother.
~~~
Coach blew his whistle, "Jay! Ben! You're offense! Chad you're defense!"
I stood next to coach as I looked at Carlos.
"Hey! Hey!" Coach yelled at Carlos, who was pretty confused.
"Hey you, lost boy! Put your helmet on and get out of the kill zone!" Carlos looked at Coach with a confused expression.
Guess they don't have tourney at the Isle.
Coach nodded at me and I blew my whistle, starting the practice.
I saw Jay kinda get rough on Chad, making me and Coach look at eachother in slight worry.
Jay was pretty good actually, a little bit too determined to win though.
The cheerleaders, except Audrey, cheered Jay on when he shot the ball to the net.
He started to take off his helmet and gloves off, jumping around in victory.
Coach and I looked at eachother once again, I shrugged in response.
Coach blew his whistle and pointed at Jay.
"You! Get over here!"
Jay ran towards our direction, as the other players started to walk towards us as well.
"What do you call that?"
Coach pointed to where Jay was earlier, waiting for an answer.
"I call that raw talent! Come find me later, I'll show you something you haven't seen before. It's called a rule book." Coach laughed.
"Welcome to the team, son!"
He patted Jay on his shoulder.
Coach then looked at Carlos, "Have you ever thought about band?"
I chuckled, earning a slight glare from Carlos.
"I'll work with him, coach." Ben said.
Coach looked between him and Carlos.
"Alright. Let's run that again."
I whistled, the others getting back to their places.
"Carlos!"
He looked at me as I ran towards him.
"Hey."
He smiled at me.
"Don't worry, Ben and I will help you practice."
I smiled at him, putting my hand on his shoulder.
He looked at it then back at me.
"Thanks."
Tourney with them isn't actually that bad.

A Fate Shaped by Magick
This fiction was (and is) published on fanfiction dot net under the same title; though as I slowly transfer it to here, I am editing and smoothing it. This story takes place in the Elder Scrolls (TES) Universe mostly ending up in Morrowind. This is a slice of life meant to answer the questions of how (in the TES universe) do mages study and learn, and exploring some of the in-game differences between TES 2 and 3. This book has minimal spoilers for the Morrowind main quest and does not fully explore it. If you think that giant insects would make cool pets - if you like the idea of exploring magic NOT intended simply as killing something better, faster or more gore-ridden, then come on in and enjoy.
