"Hey! Have you seen Jane's new look?" Faith said as she sat beside me on the bleachers.
My eyebrows furrowed at the new topic.
"No, why? What happened?" I asked, diverting my eyes from Ben and Carlos to her.
"I heard Lonnie, Mulan's daughter, and her talk about how Maleficient's daughter made her hair beautiful." Faith stated as she took a bite from her apple.
"I even heard one of the girls she was talking to that I should also ask Mal to do my hair! Does it really look that bad?" She asked with her mouth full.
I snorted, making her eyebrows furrow.
"No it's not. They're just jealous that you have more beautiful curly locks than them."
She grinned at me and gave me a side-ways hug.
"Thanks, (N/N)!"
I laughed and remembered what she just told me about Fairy Godmother's daughter.
"Why can't Jane just ask her own mother to do that?"
I looked back at the boys as Dude ran to me.
"Hey, Dude! Who's a good boy? Want a treat?"
I pulled out a treat from my pocket.
You never know when you need dog treats, right?
Dude looked at the boys and ran towards Carlos, barking happily.
"Dude!" I called, but the dog didn't listen.
I jumped down to the ground.
"I'll be back." I said to Faith as I chased after them.
"No! Wait!"
Carlos screamed as he ran into the forest, Ben and I quickly followed him and Dude.
"Carlos!" I shouted.
"(Y/N)?!"
I saw Carlos hugging a tree, Dude standing infront of him.
"(Y/N)! Ben! Help me! This thing is a killer!" He yelled, pointing at Dude.
I quickly carried Dude in my arms.
"He's gonna chase me down and rip out my throat! This is a vicious pack animal!"

"Hey, who told you that?" Ben asked, Dude whimpering in my arms.
"My mother!" Carlos answered as Ben and I looked at eachother.
"Cruella?" I asked.
"She's a dog expert." Carlos explained, making Ben and I laughed.
"(Y/N)! Why are you holding him? He's gonna attack you!"
He hugged the tree tighter.
"Carlos, you haven't actually met a dog. Have you?" Ben asked softly.
"Of course not." He replied.
Ben and I smiled at eachother then at Carlos.
I took a few steps closer to him while petting Dude.
"Dude, meet Carlos! Carlos, this is Dude. He's the campus mutt."
I smiled as I saw Carlos eyes softened at the sight of the said dog.
"He doesn't look like a vicious rabid pack animal."
Carlos slowly got down on the ground, walking to us.
"Geez, you're a good boy aren't you?" He asked once he's face to face with Dude.
Carlos laughed as he pet Dude.
Ben and I looked at eachother, both of us happy for him as I carefully gave him Dude.
Seeing him smile is the most precious thing I have ever saw in my life.
I saw Ben suddenly frown.
"I guess you guys had it pretty rough on the island."
Carlos then frowned also.
"Yeah. Let's just say, we don't get a lot of belly rubs."
I smiled at Carlos.
Such an innocent angel.
"Good boy!"
I put my shoulder on Carlos, my eyes immediately widened.
"I-I mean, you're a good runner! Y-you're fast, you know."
I felt my cheeks get hot.
"Thanks."
He smiled at me, a slight blush on his cheeks.
"Listen, we're gonna give you guys some space. You guys get to know eachother and just, come find us when you're done." I said as I pushed Ben back to the field.

"See you later!" Ben said, looking back at Carlos and Dude.
"You like him, don't you?"
I turned my head to Ben, who's smirking.
I shushed him, "Kinda."
The both of us laughed.
"Why don't you tell him?"
I looked at Ben like he has ate some poo. "What?"
I shook my head.
"Ben, did you forget that I'm Peter Pan's daughter? We don't do the liking, they should."
He looked at me confused, I sighed.
"I mean to say is, I don't ask guys to date me."
"Yeah, but Carlos said they weren't treated like us here. Maybe they don't even know about dating!" Ben stated.
"Let's just not talk about that, okay?" I said as I speed walked back to the field.
"(Y/N)!" He called, but I didn't look back.
