《Harry Hook X Reader X Carlos De Vil》Chapter 37

We were currently outside the castle, waiting for the Royal Couple to arrive.
"Hey."
I turned around to Carlos who was looking at me with a concerned expression. "You okay?"
I smiled at him then glanced back at the Isle.
"Yeah. I was just thinking about something." I said.
"You sure? Cause we don't want you to be staring off into space when the dance number begins." Carlos laughed, making me hit him playfully.
"Shh! Don't break the fourth wall." I whispered, putting a finger on my lips.
"Come on." He gestured to the others with his head and wrapping his arm around my shoulders, giving it a light squeeze.
We stopped next to Evie, Faith, and Jane as Carlos takes off his arm from around me.
"There they are." Evie softly stated as the Royal Couple finally arrive and walked out of the tunnel, towards the balcony where Fairy Godmother and Ben's parents are.
All of us clapped and cheered to the two of them.
"Lady Mal and I wanna thank you for celebrating our engagement with us today." Ben said, looking down at every one of us.
"I couldn't be more prouder or happier to call her my queen. So, raise your glasses. To our future Queen of Auradon!"
All of us raised our glasses and simultaneously said, "To our Queen of Auradon!"
"Speech, your specialness!" Carlos said to Mal.
"Speech, oh fancy one!" Jay added, making all of us laugh.
There was a moment of silence before Mal turned to glance at us.
"I can't..."
All of us were shocked at what Mal said, some gasped and others looked at eachother.
"I can't be Queen of Auradon..." She repeated.
Ben went to her. "I can't turn my back on the Isle." I heard Mal say, slightly making me smile.
Mal then turned to us, "We made a decision to close the barrier forever. And it was my idea, but it's wrong."
I looked at Evie and saw that she also has a small smile on her face as she looked at me and held my hand, making me give it a light squeeze.

"I've learned that you can't live in fear. Because it doesn't actually protect you from anything."
Mal nervously laughed.
"You'll never know where the bad is gonna come from. You'll never know where the heroes are gonna come from either."
She then looked over at my direction.
"Without Uma and her pirates, Auradon would be gone. And without Hades, my father,"
She paused for a second and some of the students gasped once again.
"Audrey would be gone." Mal finished and all of us looked over at her.
"We are all capable of good and bad. No matter which side of the barrier we come from."
She then looked at Ben from beside her.
"And that's why I can't be queen of just Auradon. I have to be queen of the Isle too and it's time that we take the barrier down forever."
"We can't do that." Beast chimed in, making us glance between the Royal Couple and Ben's parents.
"It's up to us, dad." Ben glanced at his father then back to his fiancé then to us.
"I choose to be a king who moves forward. It's time for forgiveness. It's time for new beginnings. THE BARRIER WILL COME DOWN!"
"YES!! WOO!!" Carlos and I shouted happily in unison, making the others laugh.
"Bring it down, Mal." Ben said, staring lovingly at her.
All of us clapped and cheered, waiting for Mal and Ben to finally break down that bloody barrier.
Mal motioned Evie, Jay, Carlos, and I to come up next to them.
When we arrived at the top of the stairs, we saw Fairy Godmother give Mal the wand.
We walked towards the couple and I stood next to Evie and Carlos, looking excitedly at the Isle.
"To make the world a better place, we have to do it face to face." The five of us said in unison.
Mal pointed the wand to the Isle, the barrier and the dark cloud disappeared.
The pixie dust bridge was replaced by a beautiful white permanent bridge with a spiral around it.

All of us was amazed and I saw Evie was about to cry, making me gently squeeze her hand.
She looked at me and squeezed my hand back with her other hand.
We looked back at the Isle and I couldn't wait to run towards Harry's arms.
Doug and Jane walked towards us as Mal gave the wand back to Fairy Godmother, and the song started...
Mal started singing and the four of us slowly walk back next to her, smiling at the direction of the Isle.
All of us ran down towards the bottom of the stairs and towards the bridge, but I stayed back with Ben and the others as the VK's go to the middle of the bridge with some of the other students.
Once they walked back towards where we were with the villain kids from the Isle, I stood next to Ben and all of us started to dance.
The Auradon students went back to their spots and we looked at the villain kids who were nervously looked at us.
We bowed down to them and when I looked back up, I saw Harry smile at me.
Uma ran towards Mal as Harry ran towards me, lifting me up and spinning me around.
"Happy to see me, aye?" Harry and I asked in unison when he put me back down, the both of us laughed.
"What's this?" I grabbed onto the jabot he had and smirked.
"You like it?" He asked, matching my smirk.
"I love it."
We laughed again and he pecked my lips, "I missed that."
I smiled, "I really thought I wouldn't see you again."
"Now why would you think like that, fish bait?" He cupped my cheek as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Oh shut up, Hook." I smashed my lips against his and pulled away for air.
"I love you, Harry."
We smiled at eachother lovingly, "I love you too, (Y/N)."
"Ahem."
Harry and I turned to Mal and Uma.
"What?" The both of us asked with our eyebrows raised.
"We have a dance number to continue here." The girls stated in unison, making Harry and I pull away from eachother.
We continued to dance until the number was finally over as Mal was being surrounded by happy villain kids. I was with Evie, Uma, Faith, Doug, and Harry, dancing together.
"You know what? Mal came through." Uma said, as we looked at Mal.
"She always does." Evie and I said in unison, smiling at our bestfriend.
"So she's definitely taken?"
Harry went between us and pointed at her, making me look at him confused.
"Definitely." Evie replied, confused as well.
They looked at eachother and luckily Doug was just next to us. "So is Evie."
Now I'm just annoyed at his flirty side.
Uma and I smacked both of his sides, "Ah!"
"What's my name?" Uma asked, making him look down at her.
"Uma!" Harry then went to kiss her but she dodged him, making me jealous.
"No?" Harry asked as the three of them walked away from us.
I crossed my arms infront of my chest, glaring at him. "Is that the love that I'd get from you?"
"I was just joking, love." Harry laughed, slightly nervous.
I grabbed his ear and dragged him towards one of the stairs.
"Now you listen here, Ho--" I was cut off by Harry when he kissed me on the lips, making me forget what I was going to say in the process.
"You know that you're the only one I truly love."
"Yeah, yeah." I rolled my eyes with a blush, crossing my arms.
He grabbed my hand and dragged me towards the dance floor. "Come on, let's enjoy this day."
The both of us smiled happily at eachother.
Author Chan suddenly walked in, sweeping the floor. "Finally it's over!"
