《Mr's Little Sister || Jimin X Reader FF》Chapter 28: Heartbeat

The next couple of days had been a complete blur, mostly because you've been studying and practicing for the competition after school. On the day of the test, it was dark and gloomy, with a slight drizzle of rain. The night before, you, Jimin, Jungkook, Taehyung and Lisa had crashed at your place to study, and with Namjoon's help, you all felt much more confident about the material.
"Yah, good luck losers, I'll see you all soon." He joked as he waved goodbye to you and your friends.
"Later Joonie, thanks for the help."
"Thanks Namjoon." They rest of them said with a bow. Namjoon simply chuckled and shook his head. "No problem youngsters. Tell me how it goes okay?"
You gave him an 'ok' sign with your hands as you left your house. Jimin opened his umbrella, and the both of you shared, walking a little ahead of Lisa and the boys. You weren't really yourself, mostly because the day you had to tell Jimin you were leaving was in two days. Not to mention prom and graduation the week after, and the day after graduation was your flight. You had a lot on your mind, so much it hurt to even look at Jimin.
"The test starts in an hour, do you guys want to go get something to eat real quick and chill in the school library in the mean time?" Taehyung asked as you all walked down the block.
"Sure, I don't mind for a coffee. Although Y/N's moms breakfast never gets old." Lisa joked, a small chuckle following soon after.
"I agree, but I'll stick to tea until the competition." Jungkook stated.
"Oh yea, how is that competition going Y/N?" Jimin questioned looking at you. Somehow, you didn't even notice any of them had been talking.
"Hello? Earth to Y/N." Jimin repeated waving his hand in front of your face.
"Huh..? Oh, I'm sorry...good?" You hesitated to answer his question.
Jimin's eyebrow shot up as he looked at you, clearly concerned.
"Y/N you've been out of it recently, are you okay?" He questioned as you walked into the café.
"Yea, just a little stressed.." you mumbled slipping your hand out of his, stuffing them into your pockets.
"You know you can talk to me, right? Any time you want to talk, I'll be there." He reminded you.
"I know it's just..."
you sighed and looked over your shoulder to your friends who weren't paying attention to the both of you since they were busy on line. You turned your attention back to Jimin and bit the corner of your lip. "You remember that night, after our first time together..." Jimin's eyes widened and his face turned red.

"Y/N....are you.... preg-"
"No!" You cut him off flicking his forehead.
Jimin's head jolted back slightly due to the impact, and rubbed his forehead before awkwardly sighing.
"Oh, haha....I just thought- it's just that it sounded like you were going to...ahem.. continue." He nervously rambled off. A soft smile formed on your face.
He really is cute
You thought as you fixed his hair.
"Like I was saying, after my second shower, you told me you would wait for me... did you really mean it?" You questioned, nervously waiting for his answer. Of course you knew it, but you wanted to hear it again, just to give you a little more confidence about telling him.
"Of course. I'd wait for you forever Y/N." He whispered sweetly, putting his hands in yours.
You smiled and felt yourself lean in, but you were cut off by someone tapping on your shoulder. When you looked over, you saw Lisa handing you a cup of tea, since you and Jimin didn't get on the line.
"Drink it, it'll help with your stress." She demanded, a smile slowly creeping up on her face. You chuckled and accepted the cup from her, before looking back to Jimin. For a while, you all sat in the booth, going over a few more things before the test, when finally, 8:30 rolled around.
"We should get going, the test starts at 9." You reminded them as you got out of your seat.
"Yes mom." They all replied in unison.
"Yah! I told you all to stop doing that you roaches!" You jokes as you walked out of the cafe.
"Haha, sorry Y/N." Taehyung stated as he ruffled your hair.
Lisa stuck out her tongue to mock you and crossed her arms. "I'm not."
You looked over to Jungkook to see if had anything to say, but he just smiled and bit his lower lip to prevent laughing.
"Let's go you're wasting time guys come on!" You complained as you began to walk faster.
By the time you all had made it to the school building, you had about fifteen minutes until the test. Regardless, you all took your seats, and when that test rolled around, you gave all your friends a thumbs up. You then turned your head over your right shoulder to Jimin.
"Fighting." you mouthed with a cute smile on your face. He chuckled and winked at you, flustering you slightly.
I really am going to miss him...
Once the test was passed out, you sat in that classroom for three hours. Luckily, the test wasn't anywhere near difficult. Truthfully, the only reason you used up the three hours was because you wanted to triple check your work.

"Alright class, pencil's down." The teacher called out. You closed your packet and passed your test to the teacher. Once she collected all the tests, she dismissed you all. Now all you had to think about was that competition...and of course, telling Jimin. You extended your arms over your head, stretching them while letting out a small yawn.
"Pssst, Y/N." Jimin whispered. You turned your head to him before grabbing your things.
"You don't have to whisper." You ironically whispered back, chuckling lowly as you walked toward him. Jimin giggled and grabbed your hands, pulling himself out of his seat.
"Do you have to practice with Kookie today?" He asked grabbing his things.
"Yea, but not until three. Why?"
Jimin smiled and grabbed your hand.
"Lisa, Tae, Kookie, we'll be back."
"Oye Oye, she has rehearsal and it's raining. Y/N can't afford to get sick!" Lisa protested crossing her arms. Taehyung chuckled and wrapped her arm around her shoulder.
"The rain stopped." Taehyung stated in a 'matter of fact' tone.
"Regardless, try to stay in the building, we'll hold her here." Jungkook joked ruffling her hair.
"Yah! Let me go!" She whined attempting to swat them away like flies. You laughed at your silly friends before turning back to Jimin as he slipped his hand in yours.
"We'll stay on campus, promise."Jimin stated before walking you out the classroom.
"Where are you taking me? And why do we have to take the stairs?" You whined, chuckling as Jimin dragged you up the steps.
"Shush, we'll get there soon. Just a couple more flights."
"But this is the last floor. Any further and we would be on the roof." You reminded him. Jimin stopped and looked at you with a warm smile. "Exactly, so come on." Before you could say another word, Jimin started to run up the stairs, and unfortunately, your hand was still in his, forcing you to run up with him.
"Yah yah yah!" You yelled as you were forced to run. Jimin laughed loudly as the two of you reached the top of the building. He opened the door, and you were surprised to see a small red and white checkered blanket, and a wooden basket in the middle. Not to mention the beautiful view the roof gave you.
"Jimin, did you-"
"Yep. You like it?" He asked as he pulled you toward the middle.
"I love it...I've never been on a picnic date before." You admitted as you took a seat on the ground next to him.
"Really? Me neither." Jimin responded as he chuckled, opening the basket. "Do you like chocolate?"
"Pfft, duh. Who doesn't?"
Jimin smirked.
"What about strawberries?"
"Yea."
"Perfect."
You tilted your head, and watched as Jimin pulled out a small container of chocolate covered strawberries.
"I had to make them because I couldn't buy them."
You laughed at Jimin's confession and shook your head. "Aigoo, you're too much. But thank you, you're too sweet." You mumbled sweetly eating the strawberries as you laid his head on your shoulder. You and Jimin ate the strawberries, and took a couple of cute pictures of each other and the scenery. You placed your hands on the silver rail and looked over the city as the breeze blew into your hair. It was quiet, peaceful even. But there was something missing.Clearly you were missing someone. You turn your head to motion Jimin over, but when you had turned around, he was already standing there. You jolted a little since you were startled. Your eyes trailed down to his hand, that was held out to you with a velvet box in the middle. You felt your eyes water up as he opened it up. Inside, laid a necklace, with a tiny gold sun, a small clear diamond in the middle. When your eyes traveled back up to Jimin's, he smiled and took a step closer, pulling the necklace out of the box and tying it around your neck.
"Jimin you shouldn't have.." You managed to whisper as tears ran down your cheek. Jimin laughed and kissed your forehead.
"Flip it over."
You hesitated a little bit, but you flipped it over, reading the name engraved on the back.
Twinkle Toes
"Check it out, I have one too." He stated as he revealed the silver chain he had laying under his shirt. He had a silver chain with a full moon, and when he turned it around, it had your name engraved in the back.
"I'm right by your heartbeat, where I should be." He joked.
You looked back up to Jimin and wrapped your arms around his neck, instantly connecting your lips onto his. You felt his lips curve upward into a smile before disconnecting. You opened your mouth to speak, but Jimin cut you off, placing another sweet kiss on your lips. You could tell he wanted to say something, but his kiss spoke for itself, and as did yours. Slowly, your lips separated, and you found yourself just staring into his deep brown eyes.
"I love you." You blurted out as your hands brushed his bangs out his face. Jimin smiled sweetly and pecked your cheek.
"I love you too, Y/N."
