《Naruto The Shinobi Hunter》Chapter 11

Naruto woke up to find himself staring at a white ceiling, 'Oh kami-damn-it!' Naruto thought as he sat up. His face was covered with an air-mask as he took deep breaths, taking in the sweet air. Naruto slowly dragged himself to sit up straight as he noticed that he felt a bit... lop-sided. Like, one side of his head was heavier than the other. Naruto then brought his hand to his head and he suddenly felt something. He then tried to look at his hand, but all he could see was darkness out of his right eye. Naruto waved his hand in front of his face only to see it out of his left eye. He then started to hyper-ventilate as the heart-monitor accelerated. Grabbing the object on his head again, Naruto felt that it was metal. When he pulled on it, he felt like he was pulling on his entire brain. His hyper-ventilation quickened as he looked in front of him to see a mirror. There was a piece of metal lodged into his head and an eye-patch over his right eye.
He then took a deep breath as he did the only thing he could've that of at the time. The only thing that made sense... he screamed. He wailed out in pain that wasn't felt. His cries echoed throughout the hospital as he looked at his reflection to see part of his body covered in bandages. His cries grew louder as he removed the IV drip from his arm and jumped off his medical bed. As he fell to the ground, the door was broken down to reveal Kushina, who rushed to his side as she wrapped him in her arms, "My baby! My sweet little baby!" Kushina cried as tears flowed from her eyes. Naruto was startled by her embrace as he shook in terror. His oxygen mask was still on his face as he covered the back of his head with his hands and curled up into a ball. Kushina cried even harder as she hugged the ball that was her son as she cried with him, both weeping for different reasons. Behind Kushina was Tsunade, Mikoto, Sasuke, Naruko, Menma, and Minato. Tsunade could only grit her teeth as she looked away. Mikoto ran to Kushina as Sasuke followed her, "My baby, my baby, my baby boy," Kushina repeated over and over again as Minato hit the wall
"Damn-it!" Minato whispered as he saw the current state his son was in, "Who knew? My son would end up like this? Scared. Disfigured... What kind of father am I?"
"It's not your fault, Minato," Tsunade said as she put a hand on his shoulder. Minato shoved off her hand as he said: "Not my fault? Tsunade, he was found at Danzo's! DANZO'S! I allowed this to happen because I was too lazy! Well no more! From now on I want ANBU guarding him 24/7! He's not to leave the house and I want Shizune to be his personal medical assistant!"
"Shizune?! She's still learning!" Tsunade replied
"And she'll gain some hands-on experience," Minato seethed as he turned around, "Menma. Naruko."
"Y-yes, T-Tou-san?" they asked as Minato bent down, "I want you two to go home and prepare Naruto's room. Can you do that?"
"Y-yes, s-sir!" they answered as they hurried home. Minato nodded as he snapped his fingers and an ANBU appeared, "Follow them, make sure nothing happens," Minato ordered

"Hai," the ANBU replied as he vanished. Minato then turned his injured son as he walked forward and knelt down, "Kushina, let's get him back on the bed," he whispered
"Y-yeah," Kushina said through her tears as she lifted Naruto up with help from Minato.
Naruto was stable as his heart-rate was at a resting point. Kushina held his left hand as Minato sat to his right. Tsunade stood in front of them with papers. Tsunade coughed into her hand as Kushina, Minato, and Naruto looked at her, "Alright you three... I-I think it's time I tell you the extent of the damages," she said
"Please do," Minato ordered as Tsunade coughed again
"Ahem... to start, the outside damages," Tsunade stated as she put up a picture of Naruto's torso, "20% of his body was covered in burns. Another 6% in scars and 40% is bruises. Thanks to state of the art skin graphing, I was able to half the numbers of the burns, but the scars went up from 6% to 10%. A majority of them are on his torso and arms, so a long-sleeved shirt is the best way to cover them up,"
"I see," Kushina said sadly as Naruto mindlessly nodded along
"As for... other damages, Naruto's right eye is missing, as it had to be removed no thanks to a large shard of metal being lodged through there," Tsunade went on further. Putting up an x-ray, Tsunade showed them what was left in Naruto's body, "We were able to remove 80% of the foreign objects in your body. The only 20%... I'm afraid there was nothing we could've done. You're too young for a surgery this massive and by the time you are old enough, I'm afraid your body would have adapted to the metal in your head, and removing them would kill you," Tsunade explained as Naruto's fists tightened. Kushina felt the grip on her hand as she placed her open hand on his head, "Naruto, you also have 5 broken ribs, a cracked Tibia, broken ankle, and I'm afraid several of your teeth have been replaced with metal implants," Tsunade said as Naruto used his tongue to feel the metal in his mouth. Naruto's body shook as his chest heaved. He then started to cry again as Kushina hugged him, "It's alright, sweetheart. Shhh. Shhhh, it's alright," Kushina whispered as Tsunade hung her head low
"Tsunade, I'd like to request that we bring Naruto out of the hospital early and bring him home... where he'll be safe," Minato ordered as Tsunade nodded
"Yes, right away," Tsunade nodded as she ran out of the room.
Kushina looked down at her son as she pushed his wheel-chair through the door, "We're home," Kushina said with a smile
"Hm," Naruto grunted, making Kushina flinch. She continued to push him through the door as she came to the stairs. Pushing chakra through her muscles, Kushina lifted up Naruto's wheel-chair and carried him up the stairs. Placing him at the top, she smirked as she said: "Kaa-chans, pretty strong to carry you up the stairs, ya know?" and Naruto grunted
"Hm," Naruto replied as she pushed him to his room. Opening the door, she saw Naruko and Menma waiting there with smiles on their faces, "SURPRISE! WELCOME HOME!" they shouted as a confetti cannon went off. The confetti exploded in Naruto's face as Naruto looked up, "Hm," he deadpanned as his siblings flinched

"H-hey, bro, h-how are you doing?" Menma asked as he walked over to his brother
"Hm,"
"Menma. Naruko. I want you two to do downstairs," Kushina ordered
"B-"
"Don't argue! Now go!" Kushina shouted as Menma and Naruko ran out of his room. When they were gone, Naruto brought his hand to his face and whipped off the confetti on his face. Kushina sighed as she pushed him to his bed, "Alright, Naruto-kun. Let's get you on your bed and I can put on your favorite movie or TV show... o-or whatever," Kushina whispered
"Hm,"
'Oh dear kami, he's turned into an Uchiha,' Kushina thought as she picked up her son and placed him on his bed. She lifted him off his wheel-chair, making sure the cast on his right ankle would rise above the bed. Slowly setting him down, Kushina grabbed a blanket and placed it over him. Kissing his forehead, Naruto shifted in his bed as Kushina sighed, "What would you like to watch?" Kushina asked as Naruto looked at his TV
"Watchmen," Naruto answered as Kushina looked at his collection of DVDs. Finding the one he wanted, she pulled it out and placed the disc in the DVD player. Giving him the remote, Kushina smiled as she said: "Alright, Naruto, Shizune will be here in the next half-hour. D-do you need anything else?"
"No," Naruto answered
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure," Naruto replied as Kushina nodded and left. Naruto watched his mother leave and close the door behind her. When he was sure she was gone, Naruto sat up and got off his bed. He tried to stand up, but only for pain to shoot up his entire body as he fell. Catching himself on his bed, Naruto took several breaths before he lowered himself onto the floor and started doing push-ups, "I have no idea how long I've been out, but I'm not gonna skip out on training," he whispered as his started to shake, "c-come on! G-go up!" he grunted as he struggled to do a push-up. He then pushed too hard as his hand slipped and his face slammed into the floor. Naruto shook it off as he tried to do a push-up again. And again. And again. And... again.
"F-Fifty T-Two... F-Fifty Three... F-Fifty F-Four," Naruto said as he was starting to get the hang of doing push-ups. He was so distracted with them, he didn't hear the knock on his door, "Naruto? Can I come in? It's me, Shizune," Shizune asked as she turned the doorknob, "I'm coming in," she announced as she opened the door. As she opened the door, she gasped in shock as she shouted: "Naruto! You should be in bed!"
"F-Fifty S-Six... F-Fifty S-Se-ven," Naruto mumbled as Shizune rushed to his side and grabbed him by the chest, "W-what are you doing?!"
"Putting you back in bed," Shizune said sternly as she picked him off the floor and onto the bed. Naruto struggled, but it was useless as Shizune held him down, "You are recovering and as your personal doctor, I'm ordering you to stay in bed!" Shizune said
"No! I refuse!" Naruto replied as he struggled even more
"You have no choice in the matter!" Shizune grunted as she was surprised how hard it was to keep him down, 'He's strong for a 7-year-old.'
"Naruto!" a voice shouted out as Naruto looked in the door-way to see Sasuke and Mikoto. Naruto stopped struggling as the two walked over to him, Sasuke holding a balloon and a card, and Mikoto holding a small box of chocolates, "How are you, Naruto-kun?" Mikoto asked
"Fine," Naruto replied, making her smile
"That's good to hear. How are you, Shizune?" Mikoto asked Shizune. The ladder nodded as she said: "I'm doing good, Lady Uchiha, what brings you here?"
"We're visiting Naruto-kun. Sasuke wanted to see him because they haven't talked since last month,"
'I've been in the hospital for a month?!' Naruto shouted in his head as Sasuke walked up to his bedside
"I hope you like it," Sasuke said as he tied the balloon to Naruto's bed, "Kaa-chan thought it would be a good idea,"
"T-Thank you," Naruto said with a small smile, making Sasuke smile too. Mikoto beamed at this interaction as Shizune sighed, "This is gonna be one long learning assignment," Shizune whispered.
Naruto sat in his bed as Shizune was checking his good eye, "Alright, everything seems good so far," Shizune said, "open your mouth, please,"
"Ahhhhhh," Naruto said as he opened his mouth. Shizune looked down his throat as she nodded, "Nothing there either... I say you're good," Shizune said as Naruto closed his mouth
"Okay," Naruto replied. Shizune put away her flash-light as she wrote down today's medical report. As she did so, Naruto stared up at the ceiling as he tapped his bed-frame. He continued to tap it as Shizune placed the medical report down, "I'll be right back, Naruto. I've gotta use the bathroom." Shizune said as she walked out. When she was gone, Naruto took a deep breath and carried himself to his wheelchair. Reaching out from the edge of his bed, Naruto managed to grab the handle to his wheel-chair and dragged it over to him. Picking himself up and sitting in his wheelchair, Naruto started to push himself over to his door just as Shizune was getting back, "Naruto?" Shizune said, "Where are you going?"
"Out," Naruto replied
"Really? Where are you going 'out'?" Shizune asked
"Out," Naruto repeated as Shizune shook her head
"No way. I'm not allowed to let you leave this house. In fact, the furthest you're allowed to go from this room is the bathroom! So if you wanna go out, then I'm afraid you're gonna have to go through me!" Shizune said as Naruto felt something snap inside of him. His heartbeat started to pick-up as his breathing calmed. A menacing aura suddenly enveloped Naruto's body as Shizune heard something echoing from him.
"Shizune. As the son of the Hokage, I'm ordering you that you take me to where I want to go," Naruto ordered as he looked into her eyes. To Shizune, Naruto suddenly grew in size as she started to feel small and... weak, "B-Bu-"
"Did I stutter?" Naruto asked as Shizune shook her head
"N-no," she replied
"Then take me to where I want to go," Naruto ordered, making Shizune nod.

The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?

[Book Cover Made by the wonderful THEMIDNIGHTECLIPSE13] - thank you! I'm only introducing the perspective of the main character for the first part. Things change drastically soon after that. [BDSM entries are clearly marked and written so they can be skipped without affecting the story] ***A couple scenes to whet your palate*** 1. "Uh, we heal from pretty much everything and anything. Have you ever tried physically damaging your eyes to see if they would fully heal?" "N-no. No, it doesn't work," I forced out, my voice a little strangled and cracking before hardening. "And stuff like that, isn't that just wrong?! Hurting someone just to 'fix' them." 2. I leaned and he met me, our soft lips touching and moving perfectly on each other's. I felt as his tongue ran the slit of my lips, my tongue coming to graze it as it passed over, knowing doing so was like catnip to him. He leaned closer, and I shivered as his hands ran from low on my hips and grazed along and up my ribs, pulling my chest closer to his so my body arched and rubbed against him. I hummed in appreciation. [warning: so far aggressive or physical bullying and maybe a little kidnappage and sexual themes as well as possible trigger warnings]
