《Naruto The Shinobi Hunter》Chapter 15

Naruto stood outside the Shinobi Academy as he saw parents struggling and even fighting over student applications. He stood behind Minato and Kushina as they were writing on two Academy applications. Of course, Naruto knew that neither of them had his name, but he waited, sitting on the ground behind them as Menma and Naruko played with the other kids. He was a bit disappointed and saddened at the fact he wouldn't be able to go to the Shinobi Academy, yet he didn't show those emotions in front of them. Looking around, he was getting annoyed at all the yelling and screaming until he saw something. A large banner that said: Physical Entrance Exam. He blinked a few times, even rubbing them to make sure his eyes weren't playing tricks on him. Standing up, Naruto reached out and pulled on his father's pant-leg, "Hm? What is it, Naruto?" Minato asked, turning around to see Naruto pointing at the banner. Minato's eyes widened as he read the banner, "O-Oh... uhh,"
"I want to do it," Naruto said
"W-What?"
"I want to do the Physical Entrance Exam," Naruto repeated
"A-Are you sure, Naruto?" Minato questioned
"Yes, I'm sure,"
"Y-You do realize that you have to run 500 laps around the entire Academy, right?!" Minato asked
"500 laps? Huh...sounds like a challenge," Naruto said, giving a small smirk. Naruto then walked over to the banner and saw a pile of applications. Grabbing one, he started to write down his name as Minato stood there with his jaw open, "N-Naruto! Stop!" he shouted, but it was too late. Naruto was already done and put the application in the box.
"Minato! Why didn't you stop him?!" Kushina screamed into Minato's ear. The ladder of which was frightened by his wife's rage, "K-Kushina, p-please, let me explain!"
"Explain?! I should beat you to death with my own two fists!" Kushina raised her fists into the air as Minato pulled out one of his kunai and threw it behind Kushina. Teleporting behind her, Minato began to run for his life, his wife chasing after him, "GET BACK HERE YOU BLONDE SON OF A BITCH!"
"CALM DOWN FIRST!"

"AFTER I KILL YOU!"
"That was unexpected," Naruto said as he turned back to the box and saw an arrow pointing to the PEE (Physical Externece Exam) waiting area. Walking to it, he sat on a bench crossing his arms, watching everyone again. He waited and waited, seeing everyone going home and the sounds of explosions off in the distance. Menma and Naruko were playing with the last of the random children until it was only the three of them. Naruko was waving goodbye as Menma looked at his brother, "Hey, Naruto! It's getting late, we should be getting home,"
"You go on ahead, I'll catch-up later,"
"Come on, Naruto. You shouldn't be out here alone,"
"I said I'm fine. Go home, I'm waiting for the PEE instructor,"
"Hehe, pee," Menma snickered as he then sighed, "no, if you're not gonna go, then we're staying,"
"Fine by me," Naruto replied, shifting his body to take up the entire bench, "I'm gonna take a nap. Wake me up when the instructor gets here,"
"O-Okay, have a nice nap," Menma walked over to Naruko, leaving Naruto alone to nap.
"RISE AND SHINE!" a joyful voice shouted, making Naruto fall off the bench. Naruto shot up getting into the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist stance. In front of him was a young man with a shiny bowl-style haircut and thick eyebrows. The man wore a green jumpsuit, orange striped leg warmers, and an unzipped Konoha flak jacket. A forehead protector was worn around his waist like a belt.
"Who the hell are you?!" Naruto shouted
"I'm the Physical Exterence Exam Proctor! Name's Might Guy, the Leaf's Noble Green Beast! I'm glad you've signed up! In fact, you're the only one who signed up!" Guy exclaimed, smiling and giving Naruto a thumbs-up. Naruto sweat-dropped as he looked behind Guy to see Menma and Naruko, who both gave Naruto a shrug, "Now, come on! And let's let our youth shine to the heavens! Follow me!" Guy shouted as he walked to the corner of the school. Guy took the banner in his hand and walked over to Naruto, tying the banner to his back, "What are you doing?"

"It's tradition that examiners tie the banner to their back while running laps. A youthful display to show perseverance!" Guy explained. Cracking his neck, Guy started performing stretches, warming up, "And being the only person who signed up, I shall join you in your laps!"
"Are you sure?" Naruto asked. Guy smiled, giving Naruto a thumbs-up and a sparkle in his teeth, "It wouldn't be youthful to let you be the only one running around the academy! Now, start warming-up, you don't want to pull anything!"
"Tch," Naruto started stretching, leaning from side-to-side. The both of them stretched for a while, making sure their bodies where limber and ready for the marathon ahead. It wasn't until Guy stopped and got ready to run that Naruto soon followed, "Are you ready?"
"Are you?"
"That's the spirit! On the count of three, let your youth shine! 1!... 2!... 3!... GOOOO!!!!" Guy shouted, jogging and speeding ahead. Naruto followed in pursuit, pushing off the balls of his feet and quickly catching up to Guy, "Pace yourself, young man! You don't want to give out before you reach the 10th lap!" Guy said, going at a steady pace
"I don't give up that easily!" Naruto replied, pushing ahead
"AH HA! Such youth! It inspires me to push further!" Guy smiled, running a bit faster to run next to Naruto. Naruko and Menma could only stare in awe as the both of them ran around and around the academy, "N-No way," Menma whispered
"What lap are they on now?" Naruko asked, her eyes not moving from the spectacle in front of them
"T-They ran around the academy 8 times in a matter of minutes." Menma answered.
"You seem to be slowing down, wanna take a break?" Guy smirked, looking at Naruto's weakening figure. Sweat slowly went down Naruto's face as he was still keeping up with Guy, "No! I'm not done yet!" Naruto shouted, pushing himself to go further, 'Is it me or is this banner getting heavier?'
"HA HA HA HA! Well then, since you want to put your youth out there, go ahead! Push! Push forward! Let your spirit flow!" Guy exclaimed. Naruto smiled, taking a deep breath and exhaling. Naruto felt his body become lighter and the world slow down. Guy saw Naruto take that breath, seeing a small cloud escape from Naruto's mouth. But that wasn't all, he saw Naruto's skin become darker and his hair become more red. The next step Naruto took caused the ground to crack and he launched himself, using the momentum to push off his next step, "Was that... the Abandonment?" Guy whispered, seeing Naruto run faster than he thought the child could achieve. But Guy could only smile as he took a deep breath and pushed himself to the limit, "IT'S ON!" Guy screamed, going from the jog into a full-out sprint.
Naruto stood next to a tree with a swing tied on a branch. He leaned against it, feeling his heart beat in his rib-cage, "That was most excellent, young man!" Guy smiled
"T-Thanks," Naruto replied, his breathing going back to normal as was his form. Guy inspected this, seeing Naruto's body turn to normal. Taking the banner off Naruto, Guy's smile grew bigger and tossed it on the ground, "Well done! 500 laps in 31 minutes!" Guy gave Naruto another thumbs-up, "You've done me proud! Please, tell me your name!"
"N-Naruto... c-call me Naruto," Naruto replied, giving Guy a thumb's-up back
"Well, Naruto, you did great! You've passed! I can't wait to see you in the academy!"
"Y-You too... s-sensei,"
"Naruto! Menma! Naruko! Where are you?!" Kushina cried out, walking into the academy grounds holding a beat-up Minato
"Life is pain," Minato whispered as Kushina growled
"Achoo!" a man wearing a black cloak with red clouds, sneezed
"Lord Pain, did you just sneeze?" a woman with blue hair asked
"Someone knew pain... I know not pity for the fool," Pain replied.
"Lady Kushina! Lord Hokage! What brings you two here?" Guy asked
"Oh, Guy-kun! How are you? Have you seen my children? Menma, Naruko, and Naruto? I kinda left them here by accident," Kushina asked
"Wait... Naruto?" Guy questioned, looking back at the said child, who waved
"Naruto! I've got a lot to say to you young-man!" Kushina shouted angerly
"Lady Kushina, I don't see why you're upset. Young Naruto passed with flying colors!" Guy said with a smile
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
