((A/N)Er... Before you start the story... This part of the story was meant to be two separate parts but errrr... Yeahhhh....)
Harry was too busy reading the Half-Blood Prince's book and didn't even greet me when I walked in. He's upset at me for something, I can tell. Giving the silent treatment is just rough though. What would he be mad at me about? My thoughts were disrupted by tiny little snowflakes falling from the sky and down onto where we were sitting. It was honestly cute, felt like Christmas all over again.
"Stop it Ron, you're making it snow," Hermione muttered looking up from her copy of the Daily Prophet. Harry looked annoyed and brushed the snowflakes off the table not taking his eyes off the book.
"Tell me how I broke up with Lavender again?" Ron asked Hermione.
"Um- well... She came to visit you in the hospital. And you... Talked. I don't believe it was a particularly long conversation."
"Don't get me wrong, bloody thrilled to be shot of her. It's just... she seems a bit put out," Ron whispered looking over my shoulder. Harry and I both turned around to see Lavender who was sitting up straight glaring at Hermione while clasping her spoon.
"Yes um... She does doesn't she?" Hermione said nervously, "You say... You don't remember anything? From... That night? Anything... At all?"
"There is something... But it can't be. I was completely boggled wasn't I?" Ron scoffed looking around at us. Harry and I just stared at the two awkwardly.
"Yeah, boggled..." Hermione whispered. Her eyes traveled from Ron to someone over my shoulder. I turned around to see Katie Bell walking by, I haven't see her since she was cursed.
"Harry, that's Katie," I whispered slightly nudging him. He looked back up at me for a second before looking away without saying anything.
"Katie Bell." Hermione whispered. Only then he realized that Katie was walking by behind us. He quickly got up grabbing the Half-blood prince's book and followed her down the Great Hall.
"Did something happen between you guys?" Hermione asked furrowing her eyebrows.
"I don't know, he hasn't been talking to me ever since the night Ron was poisoned."
"Evelyn-" I turned around to see Draco walking towards me, he looked rather terrified and nervous.
"I need to talk to you," He said grabbing my arm. He completely froze for a moment, not even looking at me or saying a word.
"Draco?" I said but he didn't reply. His face stiffened and he slowly slid his hand off of my arm. I turned around and at the end of his gaze were Katie and Harry who were both also looking at Draco. I can't tell if he's scared that Katie might remember he cursed her or if he feels guilty for what he had done. He quickly turned around terrified and left the Great Hall without saying anything to me. Just as he exited, Harry walked fast past me following him out.
"Bloody hell what was that about?" Ron asked furrowing his eyebrows.
"I don't know, but I don't think it's going to end well," I said quickly getting up to leave.
Students were entering the Great Hall clustered up in groups slowing me down. I had to push my way through to be able to see where Draco and Harry were going. They were working super fast, it didn't seem like Draco noticed Harry was following even though his footsteps echoed the corridors. I had completely lost the two and only followed the sound of busy footsteps.

I turned a corner into an empty corridor. No other sounds could be heard. The sound of a spell being shot echoed the corridors followed by another. My heart dropped as I started running towards where the sound came from and towards the boy's lavatories. The boy's lavatories had were slightly flooded with puddles of water on the floor. Sinks were destroyed and mirrors were cracked.
"Sectumsempra!" I heard Harry shout from the other side of the lavatory followed by whimpers and groans from Draco. Sectumsempra was the spell Harry was talking to me about, one he had found in the Half-blood Prince's book. I ran towards the other side and there I saw Harry slowly walking towards the very end of the lavatory. I continued walking brushing past his shoulder to see Draco laying in the middle bleeding profoundly.
I let out a scream looking at Draco and then back at Harry who also seemed to be shocked. He didn't do it on purpose, he didn't know what the spell did. But why would he be so stupid and use it on Draco when he didn't know what it did?
I kneeled down beside Draco who was groaning in pain. The blood wasn't stopping and the floor started to fill with his blood. My skirt started to stain with his blood and I felt my body starting to shake. He was dying.
"I didn't mean to-" Harry said, his voice was breaking and his breath became unsteady, "But I guess it doesn't even matter to you."
"What?"
"Who do you really like Evelyn? Me or him?"
"Don't be ridiculous, you of course! Why are you even asking me this?"
"I saw you with Draco in the Astronomy Tower, the night Ron was poisoned."
"I was only talking to him as friends- I don't like him!" I yelled starting to get frustrated he'd even bring this up.
"Then why did you lie you were going to the common room?" He said raising his voice as well. I didn't answer that question, I didn't know what to say. It was my fault that I lied. Why did I lie anyway? I could've just told Harry the truth.
"Is that why you've been ignoring me?" I said with my voice breaking a little. He didn't reply, only stared at me. Snape came in brushing past Harry. He eyed Harry and I, both of us were shaking. Harry didn't say anything and stormed out the lavatories.
"Sir, it was an accident. He didn't know what the spell did and-"
"Silence," Snape snapped kneeling down on the other side of Draco who was now unconscious. He took out his wand and placed it on top of Draco's blood-stained shirt.
"Vulnera Sanentur," He said slowly tracing Draco's wounds. Each time he casted the spell, the blood that covered the floor got sucked back in. Even the blood that stained Draco's shirts slowly disappeared.

I sat on a chair beside his bed, no one was in the Hospital Wing except for us. His sleeve was slightly lifted revealing the very end of the dark mark. Something was weird though, there were a slight tint of red on it. I slowly lifted his arm pulling up the sleeve revealing the dark mark completely, it was covered with scratch marks.
"The hell are you looking at?" He said waking up and slapping my hand away.
"How are you feeling?" I asked clearing my throat.
"An odd thing to ask someone who almost bled out to death," He muttered sitting up straight.

"Harry didn't mean it, he didn't know what the spell meant."
"You're only saying that because he's your boyfriend."
"He really didn't you know?"
"So it's true? What everyone's been saying?"
"What?"
"You really are dating Potter?"
"Yeah, for a while now too."
He didn't say anything for a moment, just an awkward silence filled the room. "Piss off now would you? I want to be alone for a bit."
I didn't say anything, only nodded and left.
Ginny and I entered the room of requirements that was just a cluster of objects. It was so big and had so many random objects making it a perfect place to hide the Half-Blood prince's book.
"We need to hide the Half-Blood Prince's book where no one will ever find it, including you." Ginny said as she lead me deeper into the room. We continued walking until there was a sudden strange noise of something struggling to get out of somewhere echoed through the room.
"What was that?" Ginny and I said in unison. The noise was coming from a cabinet not too far away from us. I slowly walked closer opening it and a small white bird flew out flying right past me. The cabinet looked so familiar but I can't remember where I saw it.
"See? You never know what you'll find up here," Ginny said walking up closer to me and slowly taking the Half-Blood Prince's book out of my grip.
"Alright, close your eyes. That way you can't be tempted," She said walking away while keeping eye contact with me, "Close your eyes."
I did exactly what she said and closed my eyes. I stood still just thinking about everything in complete silence while Ginny hid the book. I was too harsh on Evelyn, more than I intended to because of the heat of the moment. As upset as I was about her lying to me, I still fancy her dearly. I just hope all of this was a misunderstanding.
My thoughts were quickly interrupted feeling Ginny's lips on mine. I quickly backed away opening my eyes surprised. She looked at me thrown back and with a disappointment.
"I'm sorry Ginny, you're a great person. It's just that- I'm dating Evelyn," I said stuttering a bit.
"You love her," Ginny whispered looking at the ground. I didn't reply, I do love her, more than I ever expected to.
"I guess Fleur and her aren't sisters for no reason." She whispered again turning back to leave the room. She told me she believes Fleur is using Bill, I know that's not true with Fleur- Or Evelyn. I waited a few minutes before walking out making sure Ginny would be long gone by now. Walking back to the common room together now would be incredibly awkward. Just as I walked out, Ron quickly came walking up beside me.
"So, did you and Ginny do it then?" He asked.
"What?"
"You know, hide the book."
"Oh- yeah," I replied. In front of us, Professor Slughorn turned a corner and completely froze when he saw Ron and I.
"Oh- yeah.. Just gonna-" He said trying to smile and wave before walking away.
"Still no luck with Slughorn then I take it?" Ron asked.
"Luck- that's it. All I need is a little bit of luck."
"Harry," I turned around to see Evelyn walking towards us, just the sight of her made me happy, "Can we talk?"
Ron eyed Evelyn and I before walking away the same direction Professor Slughorn walked in from. Evelyn waited until Ron was completely out of our sight before walking up to me. I started to feel guilty. Even though I never wanted to- I started to feel guilty that Ginny kissed me.
"I'm sorry for lying to you. That night, I went to Draco to apologize about the things I said at Slughorn's Party. Well, you weren't there but I cursed at him. I also went there because- it's time like these we need someone to rely on. He's going through some stuff and I wanted to be there for him, as friends. It was only as friends. I l- Er.. Care for you." She said. I didn't say anything, only walked over and kissed her. Something I had the urge to do every second I saw her.

(A/N) I noticed my story hit 100k reads so here's something I prepares to celebrate :)
Year 4 Yule Ball
I don't know why I did it, I didn't even know I still liked you. You were standing against the balcony crying, though the scene was magical. Maybe because I was absolutely charmed by you or maybe because I still really did like you. I didn't mean to ask you out to the Yule Ball, it just came out. I expected you to coldly reject me and I'd spend the rest of my life regretting this. To my surprise, you said yes. Seeing you waiting for me outside the dungeon in your dress, I felt like the happiest man in the world. Maybe, this is what Potter feels like. Saint Potter.
"I was the only one who believed you didn't put your name in the goblet of fire, I was the one who picked you up away from the Dursley's, I put your life over mine. I go to some stupid ball with some boy you don't like and that's all it takes for you to hate me. I waited for you, YOU. I chose to go with Draco because I had rejected every single guy that had asked me, even Cedric for you to drool over Cho,"
I was surprised, you never yelled at anyone. There's a reason why everyone called you an ice princess, because you have 'no emotions'. I'll forever regret calling you that, now I see I was wrong. Except it's Potter who saw that first. You dragged me to the Astronomy tower, something no one would ever dare do.
"You really waited for Potter?" I asked walking up beside you. You didn't answer, just looked up at the night sky looking at the stars.
"We were the best pair at the ball tonight, your parents would be glad to hear you went with me" No, I didn't want to sound like I went with you solely for the idea of it. It all felt like a dream when you said yes, but I know I was only the second option.
"I still don't understand why you let me go to Harry during the Quidditch World Cup, or you knowing about the poly juice potion but not do anything about it" You asked with tears still in your eyes. I knew you weren't going to be happy with me, what else could've I done.
"Piss off, you would do the same"
"I pity you"
"What'd you just say to me?"
"I pity you. That's what you told me. You're a product of your father"
I think that's when I realized, I still fancied you. Ever since the first of September when I first met you, I never stopped. Even now, we're nearing the end of our Sixth year, and I still fancy you.
"You're a product of your mother" I remember whispering that. We were so alike, we had so much in common.
"I pity us" It was ironic, the 'best pair' at the Yule Ball was really the worst.
"Do you come up here often?" You asked. I don't come up here at all. I only came up here seeing you running across the corridors crying.
"I come up here when I need some air" I lied. I'll come up here more and more often just in case you come to find me- just in case.
"The stars are bright tonight" You whispered looking back up at the stars. I didn't even bother looking up, my eyes were fixed on you.
"I found the brightest one" I whispered but you didn't know, I was looking at you when I said that.
