Hello, hi, what's good what's poppin'? It's been a while guys! Your author is back with a new bxb, I hope you like it :)
P.s: I'll find a better cover and description, they're just temporary, don't worry 😂
Question: When/where/day you started this book?

"Another missing student from Bran Prep High was found yesterday night in a forest near the school. Folks say that it was a wild bear attack that had mauled her away, some speculate that it was a pack of hungry wolves. She was found with two strange bite marks on the side of her neck, the same injury as the other recent victims. People are starting to wonder if wild animals really are the culprits," announced the reporter. "Some say suspect that there might be vamp-"
Mrs. Sorin picked up the remote control and turned off the T.V with a sigh.
"Mom, I was watching that!" complained Noah, who sat in the living room eating his morning Cheerios. "It was just starting to get good."
"Reporters are saying such nonsense nowadays," she said in disapproval. "I mean, vampires? Do they really think supernatural creatures exist in this world? This isn't the Twilight Saga." She laughed to herself. "What's next? Flying pigs and man-eating hamsters?"
"They did say there were bite marks on the neck," Noah said, getting up from his chair and putting the bowl into the sink. He picked up his bag and strapped it over both shoulders, something that the 'cool kids' refused to do. But Noah didn't like slinging his bag over only one shoulder, thinking that it was unfair for the other if only one side had to hold all the weight.
"You shouldn't believe everything they say on T.V," his mom said. Noah smiled, kissing her on the cheek.
"I'm heading to school, I'll see you later."
"Are you taking the bus?" she asked, skeptical. Noah avoided her gaze.
"Micka's picking me up."
"In his car?"
Noah nodded.
"I thought his driver's license was confiscated," she frowned. "He crashed his mother's car twice and almost ran over a stray cat,"
"He was having some... Technical difficulties," Noah slowly said. "Micka's a responsible teenager."
"I think you might need to look up the world 'responsible,'" she deadpanned.
"I'll be fine," Noah promised, giving his mom a quick wave before closing the door behind him.
Micka Kowski was Noah's best friend. Their parents knew each other before they were born which was how they became friends when they were toddlers. Despite having different personalities, Micka being the loud, aggressive, pessimist and Noah, the calm, kind, optimist, they were inseparable.

They peed in the same pool when they were little, farted on each other's faces when they were toddlers, rolled down hills and broke bones together: they were brothers from different mothers.
Noah hopped down the front porch, expecting to see Micka's flashy yellow car parked in front of his house, but instead, Micka stood on his front lawn, leaning against an old, rusty bike with a black helmet over his dark, honey-blond hair, flickering his grey eyes towards him with a smile of their own.
"What happened to your car?" Noah asked with raised brows.
"Crashed it," Micka casually shrugged, tossing him the violet helmet that he held between his arm and waist.
"Right, just the usual," Noah mumbled, unsurprised by the news. He loved Micka, but his mother was right. Micka was a terrible driver.
"Okay, but this time it wasn't my fault," Micka said. "I didn't see the red light and accidentally bumped into the car in front of me."
"That sounds like it was entirely your fault."
"Your keyword is 'accidentally," Micka pointed out. "All I did was make a small dent but the driver got out of his car and yelled at me like I killed his cat."
Noah knew that 'small dent' was an understatement.
"Did you at least apologize?" he slowly asked. Micka averted his gaze, rubbing the tip of his nose.
"I stomped on his toe and called him ugly," he mumbled.
"You what?!"
"Hey, I could have said worse," he argued. "Now come on, let's go. Your mom is looking at me through the window and shooting lasers with her eyes."
Noah sighed and buckled his helmet over his head, sitting on the backseat of the bicycle. Micka kicked the stander and started pedaling down the sidewalk.
"Yeesus, Noah, what did you eat last night?!" he whined, pressing his legs and trying to gain speed.
"If your thighs are too weak, I can pedal."
Mika, being the competitive little diva that he was, started pedaling faster.
"Weak? I'll show you weak!" he hissed as they zoomed down the neighborhood at full speed. Noah laughed, feeling the wind blow through his hair, the fresh air kissing his cheeks. The sun's golden petals bloomed and stretched outwards into the rich blue.
It was a beautiful day, and the neighborhood filled with Noah's laughs and Micka's complaints. It was a day just like any other, and Noah wished that none of this would ever change.

When they arrived at school, Micka was drenched in sweat and could no longer feel his legs.

"What happened to you?" laughed Tory when Micka slid down his locks and crouched onto the ground.
Micka's answer was a loud wheeze.
"He decided to become a professional cyclist this morning," Noah smiled. Tory raised a brow. "I told him that he was going too slow and he wanted to prove me wrong."
"So Micka being Micka?"
"Micka being Micka," agreed Noah with a laugh. Micka was too busy panting to argue.
"Anyway, have you two seen the news this morning?" she asked.
"Yeah, they found a missing cat named Pumpkin," Noah said excitedly. "It was so small and cute, I'm so glad they found it."
Tory scowled. "What? No, I'm not talking about the one about Pumpkin. Who names their cat Pumpkin, anyway? I meant the report about the missing student at Bran Prep High."
"Oh, right," Noah mumbled, his answer wasn't as enthusiastic as the first one.
"Don't you two think it's weird?" Tory asked. "Bite marks that look like fang marks?"
"The school is located in an isolated mountain, surrounded by cliffs, hills, and creepy forests. It's not really that surprising that creepy things happen over there," Micka said, finally getting up. "And have you seen the school? It looks more like a medieval castle than a high school."
Tory glanced towards Micka when he raised his shirt to wipe the sweat off his face, revealing his sturdy abs.
"But vampires?" Tory asked, quickly looking away when the hem of Micka's shirt fell down. "What if supernatural creatures really do exist up there?"
"Do you really believe in that stuff?" Micka snorted as they headed to class. "The victims probably got bit by a huge mosquito or something."
"Mosquitos don't leave two gaps on your neck."
"Then it was probably a snake."
"Why would a snake slither up someone's neck? They could just bite their ankle."
"Alright then, maybe it was a huge spider."
"Spiders aren't that big."
Micka glowered at her. "Do you really think vampires exist?"
"I wouldn't mind if they did. I mean, handsome vamps that sparkle under the sun? Yes please."
"You'd have to be a student at Bran Prep High for them to want you," Micka reminded her, following the hypothesis that vampires actually did exist.
Micka was right to a certain extent. Only students in that elite high school were disappearing and returning with strange bite marks. It was a school that was almost impossible to get into, only geniuses were accepted into their doors, and most of the students came from rich backgrounds.
"Why are the vampires only kidnapping students from Bran Prep anyway? What about us commoners?"
"We're too dumb. If vampires saw us, they'd probably think we're a disgrace to mankind."
Tory slapped Micka's arm and he yelped in pain. Before they could start fighting, Noah quickly slipped in between them.
"I think we're fine just the way we are," Noah gently said.
"Noah, have I told you that you're an angel?" Micka said, batting his lashes.
They turned around the corner and saw two men dressed in fancy black suits and who wore darkly tinted sunglasses standing talking with their principal, Mr. Acorn, in front of their classroom door. One of them nodded towards the three students and Mr. Acorn turned around, a wide smile spreading across his face.
"Hello, students," he greeted them. Micka stiffened and was about to sprint away, thinking that he was caught again for doing something bad. He's made quite a few trips to the principal office for his troublesome behavior. They were practically best friends.
"Hello, Mr. Acorn," Noah replied.
"Noah Sorin, would you please come to my office?"
Noah blinked in surprise and Micka froze in his steps, turning towards Mr. Acorn.
"Me?" Noah asked blankly.
"Him?" Micka and Tory asked simultaneously.
Noah has never been called down to the principal office except for when he had to get Micka out of trouble.
"It's nothing to be worried about. In fact, I have some good news to share with you," he said. Noah didn't know how to feel.
"With those shady men?" Micka snorted, casting a skeptical glare towards the two men who stood behind Mr. Acorn. "What are you guys supposed to be anyway? Will Smith and-"
Noah elbowed Micka in the rib and he winced in pain.
"Ah, yes, Mr. Kowski. It's a pleasure to see you," answered Mr. Acorn, but his voice said otherwise. "Again."
"It's always a pleasure seeing me," he shrugged. Noah cleared his voice.
"I'll go with you," Noah said to Mr. Acorn.
"You sound like you're volunteering for the Hunger Games." Micka couldn't help but laugh before mimicking the protagonist. "I volunteer!"
Tory groaned, dragging Micka into the classroom while Noah followed Mr. Acorn and the two strange men went to his office.
Perhaps today wasn't as normal as he had thought it'd be.

Rise for the Sky [Slow-Pace Multi-Lead Dungeon Crawler]
Sixty people have awoken at the bottom of a one hundred floor dungeon. Together they must confront the terror of monsters and seek the answers to why they are here. Expectations: This story is written from multiple perspectives, male and female. Most chapters are a single person, but there will be chapters where there are a couple of quick scenes with different people. The story does take place in a dungeon, but there is no leveling system. This a realistic take on the classic litRPG and iskai tropes written like a traditional novel. There is a profanity warning because I wish to be natural with how people talk and cursing is a thing people do. So it will happen where it makes sense. Gore is warned because this is a realistic take, and people will be torn apart by monsters. I don't plan to be overly detailed with it but be warned it will happen. Updates Every Monday. Chapters will be between 3,000 to 5,000 words. Fulfill Patreon goals to increase updates

Yin-Yang
Mages in North America seem to have it all – typically from well-off families, and able to manipulate their environment in ways most of the world would never believe. They don’t even have to bother with the mundane details of life like housework, thanks to their sensitives, who also make a useful source for extra magical energy. After all, sensitives have no use for it themselves, and if mages weren’t meant to make use of it, then the sensitives would obviously have some way to prevent that. That a mage can transform a sensitive physically, with no restrictions beyond overall mass and basic biological viability, whereas magic tends not to work directly on any other living thing, is only further proof. And look at the way they live on their own, barely a step above animals. It’s better for them to belong to a mage. Sensitives in North America live on the edge of society and survival – typically so paranoid they avoid hospitals and anything else that could lead to being tracked, many of them with little or no education and no legal identity or existence. Mages exist, and mages want sensitives for some reason, but no one ever comes back to explain what that reason is. Waiting every day for the hunters to notice them doesn’t lead to much motivation or hope for the future. And once they’re captured, they’re the property of someone with a terrifying amount of power over them. Anything is better than capture. Mages are born to be the masters, and sensitives are born victims. Or are they? Jax’s life is turned upside-down when he’s caught by the hunters and sold to a mage. Andreas is still mourning for his previous sensitive, though, unconsciously creating a difficult standard for Jax to live up to, all the more so while still struggling to come to terms with this new reality as Andreas’ sensitive. A runaway sensitive isn’t what Van expects at the mental health centre. Is this a hunter trap, set for him and the rest of the Donovan family by the hunters? The hunters would, after all, love to see them cross the line openly and finally do something they can be charged with. Either way, Miranda’s genuinely in trouble, and he can’t just abandon her to it. Snatching a sensitive out from under the hunters and hiding her is odd behaviour for a mage – but then, Catherine is an odd mage, living in disgrace in the old servants’ quarters of her grandmother’s house, responsible for cooking and housework. Lila owes Catherine her freedom; is there a way to help Catherine achieve her own, and at what price? Tension is building between traditionally-minded mages and those advocating change, and something has to break. *** Yin-Yang includes a small amount of profanity and no graphic sex or on-screen physical violence. However, sex and gender roles and relationships within the mage/sensitive subculture are non-traditional in mainstream North American terms. The key criterion in a primary relationship is not relative sex or gender, but the pairing of mage and sensitive; given the transformation of sensitives by their mages, physical sex is non-absolute for a sensitive, and gender identity can vary as in anyone else. *** *** The way mages treat sensitives is extremely varied and, in some cases is outright abusive. The struggle against that is pretty much the point of the book. It is NOT grimdark or misery-porn! However, if you will be triggered by this, please, don't read Yin-Yang! *** Complete stand-alone novel, 153K words! Also available on Scribble Hub and as a free ebook.
