《'Granger' Family Reunion》The 12th

"Shh!" Hermione whispered at Draco and Blaise as they made their way into their suite, "Scorpius is sleeping."
She made her way into Scorpius' room and tried to put him on his bed but he hung on to her. She laughed quietly before going into her room with him to see Draco already sleeping on the bed still in his sleeping costume. Hermione climbed into bed next to him, still in her swimming costume too, with Scorpius in her arms. As soon as her head hit the pillow, she was asleep.
*
The next morning at breakfast, Sheila was trying everything to get back at her cousin, Hermione. But unfortunately for her, nothing was working due to the fact Hermione was too busy joking around with her 'parents', her brother, husband and son. However, an opportunity arouse to include the entire family as well when Hermione reached out for the sugar and her sleeved lifted, revealing a scar she had been given by none other than Bellatrix LeStrange.
*
"Hermione!" Sheila shouted, causing Hermione to jump and pull her sleeve back down.
"You have a tattoo!" Madison screeched as Hermione's 'parents', husband and brother glanced at her, worried, immediately knowing what Madison meant. However, Scorpius couldn't look more confused. Aunt Elisa, unfortunately, looked livid.
"" She yelled at the top of her lungs, making the rest of the family grateful they got a private room, ""
And with that, she grabbed Hermione sleeve and pushed it up, revealing her "MUDBLOOD" scar.
"MUDBLO-" Aunt Elisa started, before being interrupted by Blaise and Draco standing up, the eyes blazing in anger.
"We don't speak that word." Draco said, eerily calm but his white knuckles gave his anger away.
"If you say that word again, we'll have to throw you out." Blaise said in the same tone of voice as Hermione ripped her arm away.

"I'll have you know that it isn't a tatto, Aunt Elisa." Hermione growled as she said the last two words in a mocking tone.
The four of them stood up and left, with Hermione's 'parents' doing the same soon after.
*
"I hate that scar almost as much as I hate my Dark Mark." Draco growled as he paced their room, angrily, "You're a pureblood, anyway."
Blaise nodded his agreement as Hermione sat on the bed, hanging her head with Scorpius on her lap.
"It's just," she whispered as Blaise and Draco sat down beside her, "her revealing the scar of 'Mud ... Mudbl ... Mud-".
"Don't." Whispered Draco, softly.
"It brought back so many memories. Mostly bad ones." Hermione whispered trying not to cry in front of Scorpius who had managed to realise that something serious was happening.
"We understand." Blaise held onto her hand, "We do. The war was a terrible time for both sides. We were forced to join the Death Eaters on our mothers' lives. We did and witnessed some horrible things that we couldn't do anything about."
"I know. Just. You know."
And Blaise and Draco did know. They did understand. They were victims of the war just as much as she was. They had nightmares about the war as well. They had lost someone dear to them as well.
"Mama?" Scorpius questioned once it fell silent, "Where we going, today?"
"I think we may be going to the shopping centres today to shop for our outfits for the party tonight." Hermione answered, wiping tears from her eyes as she put on a smile for her son.
"I thought the party was at the end of the reunion?" Blaise inquired.
"There's one on the third day, the sixth day and the ninth. Then we leave on the tenth day." Hermione laughed, "So that's three shopping trips."

"But you have dresses." Draco mentioned, confused.
"I know. That's why I'm not buying anything. But you men (and boys, Scorpius), need suits." Hermione smirked.
*
"Are you OK?" muttered Draco asHermione visibly stiffened when Sheila walked in. Blaise, too, turned in worry.
"Yes. I'm fine." Hermione said, trying to calm herself down, "Worrying about nothing."
"I hardly think worrying about your scar is nothing." Blaise muttered, under his breath so no one could hear. Playing the protective 'older' brother as always.
"Now," Aunt Elisa started, "We will start shopping at the main Plaza. I have kindly arranged for a coach to take us all there. You're welcome!" Aunt Elisa outstretched her arms as if hoping for applause which no one gave her. Awkwardly, she put them down after a while.
"Right. Let's get on the bus then." Hermione's 'mum' said, kindly.
*
"That was the worst day of my entire life." Blaise complained as Scorpius put on his outfit in excitement.
Draco laughed as he got changed with Scorpius and helped him tie his mini tie. Before ...
Hermione Malfoy walked out of the bathroom looking stunning.
She was wearing a white dress that reached to her white high heels. Her hair was styled into a fancy bun and her mascara and eyeliner weren't too over the top and made her eyes stand out. Her blush was a light pink that added a little bit of colour to her cheeks that matched her light pink lipstick. She had two silver bracelets on each arm and carried a black purse in her left hand which carried her lipstick, eyeliner, wand and tissues. She carried herself with the confidence of a queen. All in all, she was breathtaking.
"Yes? Do I look OK?" Hermione questioned at their stares.
"Yes. Beautiful." Draco answered, offering his arm which she gladly took.
"Come on, mate." Blaise said to Scorpius, picking up his nephew and following Draco and Hermione out to 'The First Ball on The Third Day'

Solstice Anthology
A collection of short stories I've written over the past few years, the centerpiece being "Solstice" itself: On the Winter Solstice, the wind whispered. It roared and blew across the world, and reached even the Heavens above. With it, the great cold of winter flooded across that higher plane, and the gods staggered. They felt the golden dust of their divinity drift away from them, and the message of that wind became clear… This Winter will never end so that the Earth will.

Manaseared

As a career it is dangerous, unreliable, illegal, and infinitely unpleasant. Most who choose this life have no other options. They're the seventh sons of seventh sons, the disowned, bastards, impoverished and desperate, and nearly always young. And they are, without fail, losers. Eris is an adventurer. Eris is a loser. Like most of her make she's a teenage runaway with no other options. Unlike her company, she isn't fodder for the meatgrinder. She's beautiful, brilliant, and a talented magician; she's also vain, callous, selfish, and proud. This is her story, as she grows into adulthood, masters her abilities, and learns to care about more than just herself. Manaseared is an episodic fantasy adventure serial. It's also a pastiche of early D&D and RPGs in general, and an attempt to explore at what it might really mean to be a first level adventurer.
