《For My Eyes ONLY》seventeen

I couldn't contain the happy fits of giggles that escaped my lips manically as I ran to greet Nash. I truly couldn't have been happier to see her, even with Ashton trying to seduce me into leaving. A year, a day, or a month, I believed we would always radiate that bestfriend energy.
"MADI, you're glowing!" Nash cooed, a knowing look hidden behind her grin.
We spun in circles giggling wildly while her lame boyfriend, Leo stared intently into his phone.

"Woah, woah! Okay not to break up the happy couple," Luke grimaced, as my back hit his front mid-swing. "But we do need everyones participation in party week." He bellowed, looking between us expectantly.
"What exactly do you mean by 'party week' Luke?" I stifled my giggle at his sincere facial expression. Only Luke would talk about a week of getting hammered in a completely serious manner.
Leaping at the chance to explain his well thought out activities, he began to talk and didn't stop. I was slightly worried about his breathing in that moment. I mean seriously, you can't breathe while talking that fast without coming to a halt.
My mind slowly began wandering away from Luke's incessant babbling to Ashton..
I tended to do that more often then intended lately but I was thoroughly confused. Yeah, that's what I'd blame it on; Lack of understanding for the situation.
Ashton's constant acts of protection or even affection had my brain in quite a mess. I found myself latching on to the idea of us one day being more then, well whatever we were..
"So what do you say Madi, in for the best week of your life?" he exclaimed, lowering his voice towards the end.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world." I mumbled dismissively.

This seemed to satisfy Luke immensely, despite the fact I was completely dejected from the entire conversation he just had with himself. Nonetheless, pulling myself out of my head, a contagious grin slowly rose to my features.
"So when do these parties start?" I peered up at Luke through my thick lashes, smiling at his goofy grin as he loudly scolded me for my dejectedness.
As the music began to flow the the house, I giggled at the playful way he took my hands in his. We begin to dance around the house, slowly and inefficiently decorating with various alcoholic party favors. As we began creating the makeshift dance floor, we decided to lock all the bedroom doors because,
teenagers.
An hour before people were set to flow in, Luke was the one glowing with a goofy grin ear to ear.
He had also reiterated to me several time through my dream-like-state, that party week was indeed a week of non-stop partying; the party wouldn't end till we'd leave to go back home.
That moment was when I realized I should probably listen to people more carefully before agreeing to participate in things.
Stupid green-eyed monster boy, slowly consuming my brain for amusement.
Although, I also realized it was a far too late as I watched the groups of flock in, flooding to the drinks immediately. I head off to the dance floor lightly sipping on my own and 17 minutes later, the party was in full swing. So I thought.. but what was to stop it from growing all week?
Dear God, I'd signed my death contract. I couldn't help but ponder over the small voice in the back of my head wishing that I'd listened to Ashton. Is that what I wanted? To let him begin consuming my actions as well?

I swayed lightly beside the mounds of sweaty teenagers that had no doubt had a few drinks before arriving. Just as The Weeknd's voice satiated through the room, a top-heavy boy barreled into me, my tailbone hitting the ground, hard. From head to toe, I was completely covered in the bright, red hunch punch and he took one measly look at me before stepping over the heaping mess that I was.
Parties, great fun.
Taking the stairs two by two, I arrived in front of mine and Ashton's room door only to be reminded it was locked. Letting out a frustrated puff of air, I decided to try and find Ashton amongst the sea of clammy teenagers.
"What happened to you?" his familiar, husky tone reached my ears before I could even begin my quest.
Speak of the devildick, and he shall appear.
My head shot up, to spot Ashton with none other than Ashley clinging to his arm.
Rolling my eyes heavily, I pushed past them both into the room they had been previously occupying.
Our room.
My rage began to pump through my veins as I slammed the door in both their faces, a little too forcefully, aggressively stripping out of my soaked clothes.
Why kiss me if you want to kiss her? Why not just kiss her? Should be protecting her. Why not room.with.her.--
"Madison, what happened?"
I let out a screech as I jumped ten feet high and a look of shock followed shortly after my coniption. My anger slowly begin to resurface as his stupid signature smirk took over his features.
"Didn't mean to scare ya, ju--"
"GET OUT ASHTON !" I stared at him incredulously, "Jesus, I'm CHANGING!" My face burnt to the touch from embarrassment as he assessed my every move, his eyes following my every move like prey.
I was sure I looked insane, swinging my hands wildly while simultaneously trying to hide every inch of my exposed body. He took a few quick strides, standing right in front of me and I almost faltered as his hand reached out and brushed my face.
"I'm sorry Amaretto, I didn't mean to scare y-"
The door swung open, the doorknob bouncing off the wall behind it. I unscrewed my eyes, revealing a seemingly sober Nash and a likewise lame Leo.
"MADS? you up here? OH!-oh-oooh, Carry on." Nash dramatically wiggled her eyebrows, and sent a fat wink our way furthering my blush. I felt the hot waves creep through my entire body, if that was even possible at this point.
"No wait Nash, it is not like that would you jus--"
I was cut off, this time by Luke's obnoxious hollering as he drunkenly barreled his way up the stairs.
Oh good God..
"Madi, MADI! We were lookin' for y- " he stopped abruptly, darting his eyes around the room a hundred miles per minute. Signaling a little dude nod towards Ashton, I could practically feel his temper slipping and sliding from his grip.
A low growl sounded from the bottom of Ashton's throat, confirming my exact thoughts.
"Everyone out, now." He grit out through his clenched teeth.
His voice held so much restraint I wondered if anyone else could hear it. Doubtful since they hadn't witnessed him lose it.
Nash winked, again, mouthed 'you're explaining this' and bolted with her marry band of people who had seen me in my underwear, slamming the door shut behind them.
Let the parties, begin.

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y

3 Hearts
With three hearts in one body, in a world that is inhabited by beings that are trying to kill me. How did I Civitas end up like this, although I was born completely normal... or was I? [NOTE: Ok since I am not able to bring my depressed ass to writing regularly, chapters come when they come. I can't guarantee anything, but I'll try to make chapters more frequent. Btw. In my opinion, my writing gets better after like chapter 6, so I recommend reading at least this far.]

The Keys to the Blankspace
Ives was a normal college student who luckily found interdimensional keys that let him transport through time and space via interdimensional doors. Unluckily, he uses it one too many times and gets trapped in an alternate realm known as the blank space. This series does not contain much sci-fi, more psy-fi, and maybe a ko-fi ad. (Maybe not).
