When I first met you, I didn't know

-how I'd first fall for your laugh and later for your sense of humour

-how eventually we'd start skipping sleep just to listen to each other breathe

-how we'd get to know each other so well, it would take only one look to read your mind.

-how your bear hugs would become the best remedy to my sadness

When I first met you I didn't know how lucky I'd just become.

Like every girl growing up on romantic comedies,I thought I'd meet the love of my life in some magical romantic place,like on a train or in a cafe and we'd fall in love from the very first glance.

But then I met you,in the most mundane place possible and everything I'd imagined was wrong.

I didn't even know the first time I heard your name that I'd be repeating it for the rest of my life.

You see there comes a time when you meet someone and all things you wanted in a lover start to disappear. You wanted deep blue eyes clear like the ocean and then all of a sudden his brown doe eyes become your favourite. You wanted someone who can use beautiful words to make you feel better but he doesn't speak when you're down crying he just sits there and holds you with no intention of letting go. You wanted a lover who tells you you're the real art when you're at the museums but then you meet someone who doesn't look at the stars in the night but he just stares at your eyes. And you meet someone who makes you laugh. And he's suddenly he is like you wanted him to be. Happiness,the thing you ever wished for. The thing that makes you realise that he makes you're reality better than any dream you could ever have.

I will always remember that snowy winter night back in 2011,when it was just you and me and the world just seem to disappear I remember thinking as just an 18 year old that you know what? I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life with this boy sitting beside me and here we are now completing one whole year of being a married couple and it's been a wonderland with you my star boy. Happy anniversary and again...thank u for letting me steal your last name. xx
