《A Taste of Christmas (Complete)》13⛄️

I turn over and see the clock says 8 am and I get up and shower and put on some decent clothes and pull my hair up.
Jace should be here soon to go get a tree for his place. Saturday is finally here. Why am I nervous? We spend a lot of time together but never have I been to his apartment.
I hear him laughing with my dad as I walk out with my handbag. I bought him some ornaments from the store to put on his tree.
"Morning guys." I smile looking at Jace.
"Morning!" He said getting up walking over to me. "Ready to go?"
"I am ready let's go get you a tree," I said walking over and kissing my dad's cheek on the way out.
He opens the truck door for me as I jump in. I watch him shut the door and walk around and get in. "So I bought you a sprinkle doughnut and some orange juice." He smiled.
"You remembered I liked sprinkles. Aww, Jace!" I said.
"You ready to get me a tree? I told mom you were helping me and she gave me a bunch of lights and stuff." He smiled.
I enjoyed the scenery on the way to the nursery. California doesn't have any of this beauty. I'm not sure why I didn't come back home after college.
We pull up at the nursery and Jace jumps out and comes around and opens my door. "Welcome to my work. We can grab a wagon and walk around until you find the tree." He said.
I wrap my arm in through his and we walk off to find a tree and so far I haven't found the perfect one. At one point Jace drops the handle of the wagon and chases me around a few trees.

"Come on Willow they all look alike." He laughs.
"Jace no they don't!" I laugh walking up to another row of trees and when we get halfway up I spot the tree.
"That's it! That's THE tree, Jace!"
"Are you sure that's it, Willow?" He smiles.
"Yes, I'm sure." I smile over at him.
Once he gets it cut down and cut and shaken off he wrapped it and put it in the bed of his truck. "Alright, then we get to decorate." I smile.
"Let's stop grab some lunch to go and then decorate all evening. Noah is hanging out with some friends so he won't be there." He said.
"Guess it's just you and me then Jace." I smile over at him but instantly my heart beats faster and I'm in trouble being alone with him.
We pull up to some cute apartments and he hands me his keys and phone while he grabs the tree. Once I open his door I'm pleasantly surprised it's pretty nice.
"You have a nice apartment," I said looking around.
"I bet your apartment is so much better than this." He laughed and leaned the tree against the wall.
I went over sit on the couch with my food. "Well California is so expensive but my place yes it's nice. I may have some pics.
I scroll through my phone until I find a few. "Here it is. I love sitting on the balcony and sunbathe." I smile.
"It looks very nice. Now can I see you in that bikini across your car again" He laughs.
I shove him in the arm. "Hush and eat your food."
After we eat I watch as Jace takes the netting off the tree and sits it in the tree stand and walks over to a box in a chair.

"Here is the stuff mom gave me to decorate with." He said.
I grab my bag off the counter and bring him over a box. " I got you these." I smile.
He opens the box and smiles. "Ornaments? That's cool thank you so much, Willow." He said taking them out looking at each one.
"So this one says first Christmas because this is your first Christmas with a tree." I smile.
"My first Christmas with you Willow." He smiled.
"Let's look through this box and get some lights on this tree. Looks like we have colored ones." I laughed.
"Colored it is then." He laughs pulling them out of the box.
I walk over to help him and when we plug them in they light up. "Yay, they light up." I giggle.
We finish the lights and I grab the ornaments and hand them to him to place on the tree. "Do you have a topper?" I ask.
"I'm not sure but check the box." He said.
I dig in the box and find a star for the top. "I found something!" I said walking back over to him and I somehow got tangled up in something and started to fall.
Jace caught me in his arms and we laugh. "You always were clumsy Willow."
"That will probably never change. Funny story. I was decorating this couple's house and the husband was working from home and the wife was at work and I had to go out to my car to get something and I slipped and fell and my skirt went over my head." I laugh.
"Well, what happened?" He laughed.
"I laid in the grass with my dress over my head and my thong showing and then I heard a throat clear. It was the husband and he asked if I was ok and needed help. Both of our faces were red." I laugh.
Jace is bent over laughing so hard. "Shut up it wasn't funny but the husband recommended me to his single friends. I'm assuming he was hoping I would fall for them." I laugh.
"I bet he took a picture, Willow." He laughed.
"Surely he didn't," I said giggling.
We fall back on the couch and look at the tree. Shoulder to shoulder and smile at each other.
"I'm glad your here Willow."
"I'm glad to be here with you Jace." I smile.
