《The Hybridz | TBZ✔》Chapter 39 | Morning Swim Gone Wrong
Advertisement
I was going to take a morning swim alone. I put on my swimming trunks and hung the towel over my shoulder before walking out of the yard. I didn’t really like this house. It was old and didn’t have any running water, internet or TV. When we were there we were dependent on each other. We couldn’t shut each other out by watching something. I needed to get away for a moment, so swimming was a perfect solution.
What is he doing here?
WHen i reached the lake, I noticed that Kyle was there. I stopped abruptly. I didn’t want to talk to him, scared to say something wrong. None of us liked him, but I was not one to do anything. I was not strong or intimidating. If I started something, I could ruin the future. I knew how much Juyeon, Eric, Kevin and Younghoon wanted to rip his insides out.
“Chanhee!” Kyle smiled and I cursed for myself. He had noticed me. “You decided to take a morning swim as well?”
I hummed, putting my towel down on the ground. Kyle had already been down in the water, so his whole body was wet as he came up to me. He put his hand on my shoulder and I stiffened.
Get this hand off of me now!
I hated when other people touched me and especially when this guy did it. He was trying to take Y/N away from us and here he was trying to be all ‘buddy’ with me.
“It’s nice living with Y/N, right?” Kyler asked.
“Yeah”, I answered, starting walking down to the water.
“Wait, you were the one that hurt your foot, right? Is it all fine now?”
“Yeah.”
I hurried to dive down under the surface to avoid his annoying questions. Why couldn’t he just leave? Leave us and Y/N alone forever? When I came up again, I thought he actually was gone, but then noticed that he was in the water beside me.

Just leave!
“Can I tell you something about Y/N?” Kyle asked.
“What?”
“When we first met, I used to have a crush on her, but when she got to know about it, she beat me up to try to ‘get my brain to function right’. She can be a little scary sometimes.”
I felt my heart sinking to the bottom of the lake and taking me with it in surprise. I started swallowing water and Kyle helped me back to the shore. I shook his hands off of me and hurried to grab my blanket before leaving to go home. Younghoon was awake by now. He was standing in the kitchen, eating some sausage from the fridge.
“Where have you been?” he asked.
“I took a swim and I’m pissed”, I said and slammed the towel on the table. “Kyle was there.”
“Kyle? Seriously? What did he do?”
“He harassed me.”
Younghoon frowned. “Harassed you?”
I told him everything that had happened and Younghoon scoffed.
“WHat a disgusting bitch. First he admits to having a crush on Y/N and then touches you?”
“He touched me while getting me back to the shore! Who did he think he was?”
“Should have let you drown.”
I glared at him. Younghoon smiled slightly, but it disappeared quickly.
“But doing all of that is not right. I don’t care if he was ‘trying to save you’ or something, he should not have touched you. And he should not have had a crush on Y/N. Next time we see him, I’ll talk to him, okay?”
I nodded, looking down. Younghoon put his hand on my shoulder and I looked into his eyes sadly.
“I’ll kill him, okay?”
I nodded and sighed.
“Go change into some normal clothes”, Younghoon said. “I’ll talk with the others.”

Take Two!
College student majoring in botany has a fateful encounter with truck-kun while trying to get back in shape after realizing that his freshman 15 turned into the sophomore 20, and then the junior 30. After going through a very amusing(to some) hell, he gets the chance to transmigrate into a body of his own design on a magical world. Playing to his strengths, he chose the Plantkin race, and the new name of Sorrel to match. This is a slow-paced, magical, slice-of-life story with a focus on relationships. There will be sex(I'll try to keep the explicit stuff to a minimum, but it will be there), swearing, really bad jokes, and enough food to spoil your diet. There will not be a lot of action, epic quests to save the world, or anything even remotely resembling a big-bad-evil-guy(a few smaller bad guys, sure. But, no BBEG). Note: This is a re-write of my first story "Congratulations, You're Dead!". And, is much more what I wish I had written in the first place. The characters and the world are very similar, with a few key differences. The story may borrow some elements from Congrats, but should be considered as its own work. Reading Congrats first is not needed, or even reccommended, not unless you want to see some really cringey romance in the early chapters.

The Merchant Adventurer
Boltac, an ordinary, money-grubbing Merchant takes on the impossible quest of saving his town and rescuing the woman he loves from a treacherous and powerful Wizard. An artful, satire of dungeon crawls and cRPG's, the Merchant Adventurer is part Princess Bride, part Dungeon Pawn Stars and a rollicking good read.

But this story isn't about that. For after all was done, the man dying peacefully on his own terms, he would have a new life ahead of him. Now unbound by attatchments and responsibility, in a completely new world for him to explore, he would make sure his new life didn't end up like the last one. This fiction won't be updated regularly due to my own circumstances and while I will try to update it often, I won't always be able to. That being said I hope you enjoy this little work of mine. I'm not an experienced, and don't consider myself a good author in any way. But hopefully some people will enjoy this fiction like I do writing it, regardless of that.
