《RTTE watches HTTYD》(14) The Midnight Flight

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" And that's Dagur's crazy laughter.
"That's an interesting tactic." Ryker raises an eyebrow at Viggo, he doesn't want his brother to get any ideas.
"Yeah right!" Is again heard from Dagur.
"I thought he was leaving? Why would he need to explain if he was?" Throk spoke, obviously confused.
It seems everyone but Mala, who was watching the Grimborn brothers carefully, was confused. If this was what she thought it was, and she was correct about them and their obsession with Hiccup, she didn't want them to throw the biggest hissy fit of the century. It would end in blood she knew that much.
"Shut up! Bitch!" Came from, once again, Dagur.
Viggo and Ryker stiffened. They weren't stupid, they knew how Hiccup and Astrid treat each other sometimes. Mala keeps a sharp eye.
'She better not touch him.' Thought Viggo viciously
"Final last words brother."
Ryker growls, with Viggo not far behind. Dagur cocks a brow at them, but they're too focused on the screen.
"Why?" Is gowled out by Viggo, he doesn't like where this is headed.
Dagur laughs hysterically, Throk and Mala actually crack a smile... And Viggo and Ryker are staring at where the Bit- Astrid is holding onto Hiccup.
'Why couldn't the dragon have continued until she was thrown off, never to be seen again.' Were Grimborn Brother's thoughts.
Shadow's however where 'I'm gonna need the chains...'
There is very audible growling heard from the back of the room.
Suddenly everyone is focused. The brothers stop focusing on Astrid's closeness to Hiccup.
"What?" Mala whispers, this wasn't normal dragon behavior when not being attacked.
"But to where." Throk whispers.
Everyone is similarly wide-eyed.
"Why..?" Mala wonders again, usually dragons only give up their hunt either as an insult or... Her eyes widen.

'No dragons that big, for that much food...'
The watchers all recoil. "WHAT IN THE EVER-LOVING ODIN'S HELL IS THAT!?" Ryker yells.
Viggo is stunned speechless in terror, not even his dragon hunters could take down that thing. Even with all their allies combined...
"Great idea. Then go with the leaving idea and get as far away as possible!" Dagur yells.
"What kind of Dragon..." Mala whispers, "I don't know..." Throk mutters.
"That doesn't make anything better!" Dagur again yells, no berates him.
"That and if the Vikings were to go there they would get touched. So don't get all judgy." Was helpfully supplied by Dagur
"Didn't you just hear what I said-"
"Dagur." From Viggo.
"Yes?"
"Shut up." There was silence.
"Leave." Was said by almost everyone.
"Don't do that. The Vikings have done nothing for you, leave them to fend for themselves for another three hundred years." Again helpfully supplied by Dagur
Viggo and Ryker growl. Shadow prepares the chains.
Chains wrap around the Grimborns just as they lept up, snarling. There was thrashing, snarling, the clanking of chains- "HE'S OURS!" "GET YOUR FILTHY, UNWORTHY HANDS OFF HIM!" Was snarled by the brothers.
Mala sighs, she knew something like this would happen. Dagur narrows his eyes, he may think they're better for Hiccup than Astrid but that doesn't mean he would make it easy for them. Stoick obviously doesn't care enough to even think of betrothal contracts off the island to find someone suitable, so he will take it upon himself as the big brother. All the while, Throk is looking confused as fu-
By now the brothers have trailed off into quite growling, looking at the screen with ravenous eyes. Viggo has been reminding himself, 'She's the best option on the island, Hiccup hasn't seen anyone else. They've had a long time to make him think the bitch is the best option. It's just a crush, a delusion, you can convince him, sedu-'
With that, the images paused leaving the watchers to contemplate in terror and think about a certain pair of brothers' reactions and what that will mean in the future.

The Essence of Cultivation
After experiencing five years of an adventurer's life, Arcanist Sylar Wershin now spends his days catching up on developments in Essence Studies and teasing apart the functions of arcane trinkets and artifacts discovered by him and his companions throughout their time travelling the realms of Resham. An unexpected accident during the study of his latest subject of intrigue, however, displaces him across the Planes beyond what any known spell is capable of achieving. Now finding himself lost in a realm rich in previously-limited Transcendental Essences, however, does he truly even want to return back to his old world? If nothing else, plagiarising - ahem, learning new spell structures by observing the local mages should prove entertaining. Sure, there were new dangers in this foreign world, but they wouldn't be anything a fancy bit of spellwork couldn't solve. Though, he would appreciate it greatly if someone could explain to him just what this 'cultivation' business was, why the local Mages were all muscle-brained freaks obsessed with immortality, and why they all seemed to lack any appreciation for the finer details of Essence manipulation. That would be nice.
