We managed to help Hiccup and we had already scribbled down most of his cheat sheet. "Now we're almost done." I stood up and climbed on top of Zipp. She snarled and flew up ready to help if needed. Toothless and Hiccup started gliding in the wind once more, connected to the tree stump on the cliff. But the wind was too strong so they flew back, crashing into the ground. Zipp quickly jumped to their rescue but we were a bit too late. They lazilly got up but we noticed that Hiccup was stuck to Toothless. I jumped off and snickered. "Oh, great." I picked him up and smirked. "So much for a safety invention." He laughed and got back on Toothless. "Now I gotta fix this..." I walked a bit closer and inspected the broken thing. "How?" He shrugged and scratched Toothless behind his ears. "I don't know.. pry it open?" I laughed and pet Toothless too. "Wow, what a blacksmith." I heard him laugh as I ran back to Zipp. "I know, I'm the best at Berk." He announced proudly while I climbed onto Zipp. "Mhm." I hummed in aggreement and stared at him.
Again, just as I realized that we were staring for a bit too long Zipp and I started walking back to the cliff. "Hiccup, I need to tell you something.." "Y/n, I need to tell you something." I stopped Zipp and looked back at Hiccup who seemed just as dumbfounded as me. "Uhh, you first." "You go first." We stared at eachother again but I gave out a soft chuckle. "Okay, I'll go first." Hiccup laughed but was obviously listening. I took a deep breath and quietly said. "Apparentally we're engaged." Just as I blurted it out he glared at me, confused, maybe more confused than when I heard the news. I got confortable on Zipp and she layed down. "I know, it's weird.. I found out just yesterday." He continued to stare at me and I glared back at him. "Hey, atleast say something! If we're getting married we better get along." He gave out a dry chuckle and Toothless and him went back to the tree stump. I was watching him, he seemed sad.. "Hey," I jumped off and ran up to him. "I'm.." He still didn't look at me. "I'm sorry alright? I mean.. I know you like Astrid.. who doesn't like her? And if it was in my control we definitely wouldn't be engaged." He looked down at me and I gave him the warmest smile I could. "Are you saying I wouldn't make a good husband?" He made a funny face and laughed right after. "Oh." I laughed too. "No, it would be nicer if it was in our control though.." I looked down and I felt Toothless's head on my hand. "Atleast we have these guys, eh?" I grinned and started cuddling Toothless until Zipp got jealous and tackled me to the ground. 'I hope this lasts forever..'
It was the next day and when I woke up I realised that my father wasn't inside the house. Which was unusual. Since the morning training for today was cancelled, it was time for Hiccup and Toothless to take their first flight. Zipp and I waited for them in the air as they flew up. "Ok there, bud. We're gonna take this nice and slow." He nodded to me and we started trailing behind the two. He glanced at his cheat sheet and they did a circle. He checked the sheet and the tail one more time and they started picking up on speed. We followed right behind them, making sure that we can save them if anything happens. "Alright, it's go time, it's go time..." They started flying down to the sea. Zipp and I were flying just above and behind them. Watching them carefully. "I gotta say that the Night Fury is so... majestic..." Zipp roared in dissagreement. "Not as majestic as you of course!" I scratched her and watched as Hiccup and Toothless flew into a few tall rocks. We flew down right next to them. "That was my fault." Toothless slapped him with his ear and I laughed. "Yeah, yeah I'm on it.." He gave me a soft glare but looked right back to the sheet. "Position four. Uh, three." They started flying high up and we just followed suit. Toothless had his toungue out like a puppy and gave us a couple glances as we were flying under them. "Yeah! Go baby!" I chuckled and joined him in the shouting. "Yes!" He quickly glanced down at us and back up. "Oh, this is amazing! The wind in my.. cheat sheet!" I quickly realised that he panicked and I also realised that Hiccup was trying to catch his cheat sheet. "Stop!" He yelled out and Toothless did so. We rolled around in the air and quickly tried to catch Hiccup as he fell out of the saddle. The safety hooks are still not that safe. "No!" "Hiccup!" Toothless roared in fear as Zipp and I tried to catch up, but we aren't as fast as a Night Fury. "No, Hiccup!" Toothless was panicking and so was everyone else. "Oh, gosh! Oh, gods! Oh, no!" Hiccup hit Toothless's wing which made him start spinning. He quickly managed to stop. But poor Toothless was still spinning all over the place. "Okay you gotta.. You gotta angle yourself!" Zipp and I were getting closer but then I realised. "Even if we catch Hiccup.. what about Toothless." Even though Zipp seemed determined, she also had no idea what to do after they caught up with them. Toothless's tail hit Hiccup which made him fall a bit further away from the dragon. He positioned himself towards Toothless and tried grabbing onto the saddle multiple times. But we couldn't continue following them as the ground was getting close and we had to start gliding above the trees. "You better not die on me Hiccup." I glanced behind us and felt a strong wind flow beside us. "Toothless! Hiccup!!" I urged Zipp to fly after them, but they were going faster than us. "Watch out!!" There was a bunch of rocks and sea stacks. "Oh no." We flew closer and closer but it was obvious that they couldn't stop. Something flew into my face and before I could react we flew higher. I finally managed to get it off my face and I saw Toothless and Hiccup flying through the sea stacks. "Wow.." I pet Zipp and we glided, just bellow us, Toothless and Hiccup flew out of the rocks and started gliding above the sea. "Yeah!" Hiccup began celebrating so Toothless shot out a plasma shot to join in. "Oh, come on.."

Toothless regurgitated a fish for Hiccup but he gestured to the one he already had. "Uh.. no thanks, I'm good." I chuckled and threw another fish over to Zipp. She caught it with ease. I heard some dragons shrieking and it turned out to be a group of Terrible Terrors. Both Toothless and Zipp hid their food. The small group landed before us. They seemed to be really interested in Toothless's fish. Hiccup and I watched as the different dragons interacted. A little green one took away half a fish and it fought for it with another Terror. Another one took a fish from Toothless but he caught the fish and pulled it away from the little dragon. He ate it and even laughed at the poor thing. It took a deep breath and got ready to fire but Toothles fired a blast inside it's mouth. It started wobbling around until it noticed that Hiccup threw a fish towards it. "Heh, not so fireproof on the inside, are you?" It gobbled up the fish quickly and hesitantly walked towards Hiccup's hand. It cuddled close to him and he began petting it. I smiled and threw some fish towards the other ones and they swarmed the campfire immidietely. "Well.. you're awfully cute.." I picked one up and it flew onto my head. "Everything we know about these guys, is wrong."
I got back to the village and went straight to looking for my mother. The Vikings have returned from their attack, finally a few weeks later. My mother is a great warrior so I was excited about what the chief and her managed to find together. I ran into the Great Hall and hoped to see some excited faces. "But.." Everyone was sad, tired and beat up. I started sweating. "Mom..?" I frantically started looking around for the long haired knight but I couldn't find her anywhere. "MOM?!" I was pushing people, hitting and yelling. Until someone stopped me. They turned me around and held my shoulders firmly in place.
"Y/n. Calm yourself!" The hands of the person were shaking as well, but were too focused on holding me still. "Let me go!" I started thrashing around, getting out of his grip and pulling out one of my mother's swords. "Where is she?!" The sword was pointed to their throat. My eyes began to water as I saw the look on the mans face. The sword collided with the ground and I froze in place. "..no.." I started shaking again. "...Can I see her..?" He pointed to his left and I glanced over. I saw my father on his knees, with the other sword in his hand. My eyes finally decided to tear up. "N-no.." I slowly picked up my mothers sword and walked over to father.
I gently sat beside him and listened to his cries. They were loud and sorrowful. The rest of the vikings didn't dare to make a peep. I set the sword into my father's arms. "Here." I was crying too, but I wasn't too sure how to react exactly. I just lost my mother but... how do I react? She was the most important person in my life. I loved her and she loved me. And now, she's gone? I decided to be there for father, even if he wasn't always there for me. We both loved this woman so much that I don't care. We both lost the love of our life.

It was the morning after and Hiccup and Astrid were fighting for first place and for the opportunity to get to kill a Monstrous Nightmare in front of every viking on Berk. Even the chief, Hiccup's father Stoick the Vast was watching the fight. The arena was engulfed in vikings who cheered the two teens on. The Groncle flew around, looking for them. Both Hiccup and Astrid revealed themselves and Astrid hid again right away. She ran to a different hiding spot. The awkard boy was trying his best to lose, yet, he seemed to be a natural. He smiled at the crowd and his father, but as he turned around his smile fell. As the Gronckle flew above the girl, she switched her hiding spot to get closer. She readied her axe and pressed her back against the wood. "This time, this time for sure!" She yelled out as she charged at the dragon but she was too late. Hiccup has already gotten the beast to fall to the ground. The crowd began cheering while Astrid let out all of her rage. "No! No, son of a half-troll, rat-eating, munge-bucket!"
"Wait! Wait." The chief raised his hand and quieted down the cheering crowd. He stood next to an elder, a short lady with grey hair. "So, later." Hiccup began walking off but Gobber caught him and stopped him. "Oh, oh! Not so fast." "I'm kind of late for.." Astrid ran up to him and held her axe to his throat. "What?! Late for what, exactly?" She was so angry that her hands became more expressive. "Okay, quiet down! The elder has decided." Astrid pulled away and the two teens stood on either side of Gobber. Gobber held his prosthetic hand, hook, over astrid and she puffed out her chest proudly. But to her demise, the elder shook her head. All the vikings who thought that she'd win gasped at the news. Gobber put his hand above Hiccup's head and the elder nodded with a smirk. The poor kid was distressed but the crowd started cheering loudly. "Ahh, you've done it, Hiccup! You get to kill the dragon!" Meanwhile Astrid was giving him a side-eye death glare. The rest of the teens rushed to him to pick him up and to cheer him on. "That's my boy!" He grinned at his father nervously. "Yeah, yes. I can't wait... I am so-"
"Leaving. We're leaving." I jumped over the small hole in the ground. "Let's go back to our kingdom. There is no way I'm getting married to Hiccup either." Zipp nudged me and growled softly. "That's a good point... you can't go back with me... We need to find a place where we can stay together." But Zipp decided to have none of it. She tripped me with her tail and picked me up. "Zipp, what are you doing?!" She growled and threw me up. "AGH!" I landed on her back and quickly hooked myself to her saddle. "Never do that again, girl!" I scolded her but quickly looked around.
"Where are you taking me anyway?"
