《The Last Hybrid》3-Where is She?

I groaned as I forced myself to make another swing of alcohol.
It has been three months.
Three fucking months!
Since my mate left.
My pack has grown weak.
And so have I.
My wolf doesn't speak to me anymore.
But I can feel him in the back of my mind praying for our mate to come back to us.
It's my fault she left.
I loosened my grip on the stone around my neck in fear that it might shatter.
This is all I have left of her.
I took another swing of my bottle of booze and forced it down my throat.
All I've done these past few months is drink and barely sleep.
I've either spent my time drinking in my office or in my bedroom.
Right now I was in my office and my desk. Wasted.
My pack has barely been training.
If the Luna leaves so does the strength of the pack.
I missed her so much.
But what if she found someone else?
No! She wouldn't do that to me.
She said she loved me and love doesn't fade overnight.
She can't forget about me.
David said she was probably with her grandma.
But none of us know where she lives.
David said last time he was supposed to take her home but instead she just told her to take her to the next town even though her home was a thousand miles away.
And there was no way to track her.
She was right I couldn't find a scent.
Because there was no scent to follow.
She used magic to transport herself away.
There's no way for me to find her.
I've barely showered or shaved since she left.
I smell and I had a stubble growing on my face.
My hair is greasy and messy.

It's grown longer but there's really no difference.
I tried taking another swing from my bottle but it was empty.
I growled and threw it at my wall.
It was now broken glass particles.
I laid my head on my desk and groaned into pain
I had and huge headache but I didn't care.
I heard a knock at my door.
It was weird because no one came to see me since my mate left.
They knew I needed my space.
I growled. "Go away!"
The knocking continued.
"Leave! That's an order!" I said in my alpha voice.
I expected them to leave but the knocking continued.
I growled and go up from my seat.
I opened the door with so much force I was surprised it didn't come off its hinges.
I was surprised when I saw the person who was knocking.
Rosie's mom.
I looked behind her to see if Wyatt was with her.
She was alone.
"What do you want, whore!?" I snarled at her.
"Can't I just come and visit my son in law?" She smiled while entering my office.
She looked around the room and then sat on my desk.
"Last time I checked you didn't want me to be your son in law." I crossed my arms over my chest.
She fiddled with a pen that was laying on my desk. "A girl can change her mind."
I scoffed. "What do you want?"
"It's not what I want, it's what you want." She got off my desk and walked towards me.
"What are you talking about?"
"I know my daughter left you, and I know she went off with my mother. She left to learn how to control her powers. My mother is training her."

"That didn't answer my question." I pointed out.
She let out a chuckle while trailing her fingers over my arm.
"Don't touch me." I growled.
She held her hands up in surrender. "I'm just being friendly."
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"You miss my daughter don't you?"
"It's none of your business."
"Well." She grabbed my neck and pulled me down until her lips were near my ear. "I know where she is."
I stepped away from her. "Where is she?"
"Well aren't you eager?" She let out a small laugh.
"I ask you again, where is my mate!?" I said slowly.
"I'll show you, or better yet I'll take you to her." She smirked.
Before I could say anything she snapped her fingers.
A bag went over my head and I couldn't see anything.
I struggled but I could feel a bunch of people holding me down.
I was weak and I had been drinking so it was easy for them to hold me down.
"Sterilize him." I heard her say.
I felt something go into my arm.
I struggled to release myself but I felt myself getting dizzy.
I could tell this was made to make an alpha pass out and it didn't help that I was at my weakest state right now.
I blacked out.

I ran through the forest.
I've been running for about two hours.
My paws were throbbing.
I stopped by a small river and began to lap the water.
After I was fully hydrated something near the river caught my eye.
I walked over to it.
It was Quincy sound asleep.
I rolled my eyes. "Forma humana."
Did I mention I can talk in my wolf form?
I changed into my human form.
I heard him mumble something about cheesecake and frosting.
"Quincy!" I yelled.
He jumped up in fright. "I wasn't sleeping!"
"Oh yes, you were." I crossed my arms over my chest.
He looked at me and gave me a nervous smile. "Oh, hey Rosie."
I gave him a look. "Quincy, did you even try to hunt?"
"Of course I did. I am hurt you even thought that." He stood up.
I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Ok I didn't but you can't blame me. It's hard." He admitted it.
"Still trying to tame your animal, Sweetie. How pathetic." A heard a voice behind me.
My eyes widened as I turned around. "Mother."
Quincy walked to my side and growled.
She had a bunch of thugs next to her.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I have a little surprise for you." She snapped her fingers.
The thugs behind her had someone with them.
The person had a bag over their head and their hands were tied behind their back.
The thugs pushed the person to their knees then removed the bag.
My eyes widened.
Jonathan.
Once he saw me his eyes widened as he struggled to remove the ropes.
He was also gaged and couldn't say anything.
One of the thugs hit him on the head with a gun.
Jonathan fell to the ground.
"Mother don't hurt him!" I begged.
"I wouldn't dream of it darling." She smirked.
"Then let him go!"
"And lose my only bargaining chip. No."
She grabbed him by his hair and pulled him back up.
