You and Ethan walk back to the house where Adam is working out. He looks up and smiles."Where have you two been?"

"Nowhere." Ethan says and walk inside. "We were just taking a little walk in the forest."

Adam snort."Not the best idea."

“What do you mean?” you asked.

"There are two clans out there who wants you dead. If they picked up your scent, we're in big trouble."

"So it's okay for me to fly with you, but not to take a walk with Ethan?"

Adam blushes and looks down. "That's not what I meant."

Then what do you mean?

"I just don't want them to find you! Okay! Happy now?!" He shouts and walks away.

“What's his problem?” you think.

It's getting late so you decided to leave Adam alone for today. You walk into your room and sit down on your bed.

"Can I come in?" You hear Daniel's voice outside.

"Sure." He opens the door and walks in.

"So you're my babysitter for tonight?" He nods.

Daniel sits down in a chair away from your bed.

"Are you afraid of me?" You say and look at him.

"I might get wet if I am any closer."

"Come on, that was fun. You were laughing. I saw you, so you can't deny it."

Daniel smiles.

"Yes, I did enjoy that little water battle." He said.

"Yes, I did enjoy that little water battle." You repeat.

"Are you making fun of me?"

"No. I would never dare to make fun of a vampire." You say and laughs. He flashes his fangs for a little.

"So you’re not afraid of me?"

"No."

"Then what are you afraid of?" He says and looks straight at you.

You look down at your hands. "The change." Suddenly you feel like you're so alone.

He walks over to you, sits down beside you hand places his arm around you. "Are you afraid of what you might become?"

You shake your head. "No."

"Then what are you afraid of?"

You turn your head and loom at him. There's tears in your eyes."I am afraid that when I change I will no longer be me, then I'll become someone else."

He wipes away your tears with his fingertips."Don't cry.Even though your body will change, it doesn't mean you have to."

"How can you be sure?"

"Becasue you have us, we'll be there and we won't let anything bad happen."

"Thank you."

Daniel smiles and says "you better get some sleep." He stands up but you stop him.

"Can you just stay here, with me?" He smiles and lies beside you, and you fall asleep in his arms.
