Dad, Glenn, Michonne and Aaron were driving in the car in front of us. The rest of us were in the RV and driving behind.

I was closing my eyes and leaning back. I felt an arm around me.

Suddenly the RV stopped.

I opened my eyes again and looked around " What now?"

Abraham " we lost them"

I stood up " watcha saying?"

Abraham " they're gone"

I looked out. It's true.

Me " Do we have another flare gun?"

Rosita nodded.

Me " There was a water tank on a building. Let's park the RV there and fire one"

Abraham nodded" alright, boss"

I smirked at him and he smirked back at me.

He did what I told him. We got out of the RV and hid in a bar.

Daryl and I were on watch. I had fired the gun and now we're waiting for the others.

I could here Dad whistle.

Daryl whistled back.

I hammered against the door for them to came out.

Dad and co. Showed us.

I ran to Dad and hugged him " Dad"

Dad " Ken"

Carl ran out and hugged Dad too.

Dad " your sister okay?"

I nodded " We're fine"

We walked inside.

Aaron " you saved Eric. I owe you. All of you. And I will make sure that debt is paid in full when we get to our community. When we get to Alexandria. Now, I'm not sure about you, but I'd rather do not do any more driving tonight. Maybe we can hit the road tomorrow morning."

Dad nodded " That sounds fine. But if we're staying here for the night, you're sleeping over there."

Maggie " you really think we gotta do that?"

Dad nodded " It's the safe play. We don't know you."

Aaron " the only way you're gonna stop me drin being with him right now is by shooting me. "

Glenn talked some sense in Dad.

Dad nodded " all right"

We started driving again.

But when we were halfway there the RV ran out.

We all stood in the middle of the road. Glenn was trying to fix it.

After a while Glenn fixed it and we all heard the motor. We all clapped and cheered.

Me " woohoo"

Then we started driving again.

After a while we stood in front of the fences with the cars.

I was In the car on the front with my sibling, Michonne and Dad.

Dad drove the windows down. We could hear kids laugh. I smiled. Then I saw Michonne grabbing Dad's hand which was on the wheel.

I smiled at them. They're kinda cute together.

The others got out of the RV. I got out too and smiled at them.

the others then got out.

Dad grabbed Judith and we walked to the gate.

They opens the front gate for us. And we walked inside.

Daryl shot a damn Opossum.

I rolled my eyes at him as he took it with inside.

There was that guy who told us to hand over our weapons.

Dad " we don't know if we wanna stay"

Aaron nodded " It's fine, Nicholas "

Dad " if we were gonna use them, we would have started already. "

Aaron " let them talk to Deanna first"

Abraham " who's Deanna?"

Aaron "she knows everything you'd wanna know about this place. Rick, why don't you start? "

Dad turned around " Sasha "

She shot a walker who was coming our way before they closed the gate.

Dad turned to Aaron " It's a good thing we're here. "

We followed Aaron into a house but we had to stay outside. Dad was going alone inside.

Then a woman came with a big bin for our weapons. We put our guns in it. Then Aaron took dad, Carl and me to two houses. Big white houses.

Dad " both of them?"

Aaron " at your disposal. I'd call dibs on that one. It's got more curb appeal. Listen, I know you're still feeling us out, but I'm glad you came. Anyway, Deanna's asked everyone to give you you're space so they aren't all coming at you at once. Take your time. Explore. You need anything, you call me . I don't ... we don't have phones. I..I meant...I'm four houses down."

I nodded" Thank you."

Aaron " so.."

Then he walked away. We walked into the house. It was clean. I looked around. we had running water and fresh clothes.

After the others were done with Deanna's meeting, I was there too and I don't like this woman, we all looked around our houses.

Daryl was on the porch and ripping the organs out of the Opossum.

Dad had showered, shaved and got a new hair cut.

I smiled at him " looking good, Dad"

We all had decided to stay in one house for tonight. We all had taking turns on the shower. Everyone except Daryl.

Michonne came out smiling" how long was I in there?"

Me " too long "

Then I jumped up " I'm next"

She nodded and I ran into te bathroom. I took my clothes off and walked into the shower. I turned it on and let out a moan.

The water was soo good on my skin. I washed my hair and body. I took it slow because it felt so good.

After a while I got out.

I took a towel and stepped out. I heard a knock on the door. I wrapped it around me.

Me " yeah"

Michonne walked in with clothes " found them in the closet. Thought you might like them"

I nodded " thanks"

She put them on the drawer and walked out. I dried myself and put some fresh underwear on. Then I looked at the clothes.

Then I brushed my teeth. It did so good and I have no idea how I could kiss Daryl with....agh.

I walked back downstairs smirking " how long did I take?"

Michonne " 30 minutes"

I shook my head " no way "

She nodded laughing" you took your time"

Me " And i loved every single second of it"

She kept laughing.

I didn't realize Deanne was here.

I looked at her.

Dad"everybody said you gave them jobs. "

Deanna nodded" mmhmm yeah.part of this place. Looks like the communists won after all."

Dad " well, you didn't give me one."

Deanna nodded " I have . I just haven't told you yet. Same with Michonne and Kendall. I'm closing in on something for Sasha. And I'm just trying to figure Mr. Dixon out, but I will. "

She looked at dad " you look good"

Then she walked away.

I woke up and looked around. No one was here. I stood up and walked to the front door.

They were all exploring the neighborhood. Daryl was sitting on the porch.

I sat down next to him" you're the only one that hasn't taken a shower yet, aren't you?"

Daryl shrugged" mhmm"

Me " it feels amazing, D. Neither of us had a shower since the prison. "

Daryl shrugged.

I raised an eyebrow " do I have to drag you inside the shower myself? Because I will"

He smirked but rolled his eyes.

Me " Why didn't you wake me up?"

Daryl looked at me"I know you needed that sleep"

I smiled at him" Thank you"

Daryl " no problem "

I looked around " you don't trust these people."

Daryl " do you?"

I shook my head" I don't trust Deanna"

Everybody was outside doing God knows what. Carl and I have taken dibs on rooms. I got the bigger one. I walked downstairs and saw him looking at something outside.

I walked to him and saw him watching a girl.

I smirked at him " she's pretty"

He jerked up and looked at me " Don't scare me like that"

Me " You made friends yet?"

Carl nodded.

I nodded " good"

Then I walked outside.

I looked around. Carol walked to me.

She looked at Daryl who was sitting on the porch in front of us" You gotta tell him to shower"

Me " I already did that. Besides, let him open up to this place first"

She smiled at me.

Me " How is the neighborhood?"

Carol sighed.

Me " alright . I'll have a look"

Carol " have fun"

I chuckled and walked around. I saw Glenn, Noah and Tara talking with Eric and another guy. The guy looked good but I'm gonna stay with Daryl.

I walked to them " hey, guys"

They looked at me.

Glenn smiled" hey"

I looked at the guy.

The guy smiled " I'm Aiden"

I smiled back " I'm Kendall, but call me Ken"

Glenn " he's Deanna's son. We were heading for a supply run"

I nodded " need help?"

Glenn shook his head" no. Stay here, Ken"

I nodded " alright. Bye"

Then I walked back to the house. Daryl was still sitting on the porch.

Me " hey"

He was playing with his Crossbow. I kissed him.

Something was wrong.

I asked confused " What's up?"
