at a Savoir outpost.

The first group went through the front door while we moved in from the back.

Dad, Daryl, some others and i moved to the back door. I shot the two guards and we walked in.

We walked down the corridor. no one was here.

Dad looked at Daryl and me "I'll signal if they're already inside."

I nodded "We'll be there."

He nodded and walked down the corridor with the other guys.

Daryl "Come on. Let's find them guns."

I nodded and we walked down the other corridor.

I walked around a corner.

Daryl shook his head "Ain't on this floor."

Me "Only option is up."

Daryl "High ground. Good cover."

I nodded "Yeah, I'd put them up there, too."

Daryl nodded to a locked double door "stairs"

Then he started to kick against the doors to open them.

I aimed my gun at them in case something jumps out.

Daryl helped me climb out of the elevator.

We cleared the floor.

Me "Last floor.The guns have gotta be up here. "

Daryl "He said they'd be here."

Me " Everything else he passed you is checking out."

Daryl "That guy's a piece of shit."

Me "Those guns get to the Sanctuary, they could cut through those walkers and free up an exit."

He nodded.

Me "we should split up"

Daryl shook his head "Ken, no"

Me "I'll be fine okay. We'd be faster. I find the M2s, you find 'em, we use them,hit the courtyard right then and there."

Daryl nodded "End this quick. be careful"

I nodded and we walked away from each other.

I turned around and saw that it was Morales.

Morales " It's over, Ken. I called the saviors. and they're coming. now drop the gun"

Me "You called your men in for nothing. The fight's out there. It's just me in here."

Me "He called the Saviors back from the courtyard. We gotta get out before --"

We heard noises outside

Daryl hid behind the door.

Me "They're here"

Daryl and i were running down the corridor and rushed to the open elevator shaft.

We looked down and i pulled Daryl back when i saw bullets flying up to us.

Me " Damn it!"

I heard someone yelled "It's them"

Daryl started shooting people that were coming closer.

I covered the other ending of the corridor.

Daryl "Hey! Hey!"

I looked at him for a second before shooting a savior.

Daryl "I'm out!"

Me "fuck!"

Then i saw a fire extinguisher in the room in front of me.

I looked at Daryl and he nodded.

Then i shot the extinguisher and smoke started to foam, covering the corridor.

Daryl and i rushed to the elevator.

Aaron " Teams of four, sweep the offices!"

Me "Aaron!"

Aaron "Kendall!"

I yelled "We're by the elevator!"

Outside.

We killed every walker outside.

Dad was still here, thank god.

I saw Dad carrying baby put.

Tobin " She was inside?"

Dad nodded "She was. I have a --I have a stop to make, and Daryl's got his bike.Maybe she can go back with you or Scott..."

Aaron "She can go with me.I can, uh, t-take her to the Hilltop. She'll be safe there."

I asked worried "are you sure?"

Aaron "Eric and i were gonna go up...We were gonna go there after and update Maggie. So...that's what I'm gonna do."

Daryl and i walked to his bike while Dad got to his car.

Dad "'Cause I'm giving you my word. There's not a lot that's worth much these days, but a man's word... that's got to mean something, right?"

We walked to the guy.

The guy "W-What do you wanna know?"

Dad "You ever have any M2 Browning 50-caliber guns here?"

The guy nodded "We did. For a while."

Daryl "What happened to 'em?"

The guy "They got sent to another outpost yesterday."

Me "Which one?"

The guy "It was Gavin's -- it's west of here. Can I, uh -- Can...Can I go?"

Daryl shot him in the head "Which team's at Gavin's?!"

There was a car in front of us.

I took my gun out and shot the back door of the truck open.

suddenly we were faced with a machine gun.

Daryl "fuck, Ken"

Suddenly he got off the road and lost control of the bike.

We fell into the grass.

We got back on the bike and he stared to drive off.

Dad was ahead of us.

He drove faster and i was able to shoot the guy with the MG.

I saw dad jump into the other car and the car came off the road and rolled down the cliff. Someone jumped out though but i have no idea who it was.

Daryl stopped the bike and i jumped off of it.

The car was lying on its side.

Dad crawled out of the grass and to us.

I breathed out relieved .

dad "hey. We got the guns."

Daryl "You look like shit."

I smirked.

Dad "Let's go see if this asshole's alive."

We walked to the guy i had shot.He was still moving though.

Dad aimed a gun at him " Your people back in the chemical plant... did you win?

The guy groaned "No one did."

Daryl "The hell's that supposed to mean?"

The guy coughed.

Daryl aimed a gun at him "The hell's that supposed to mean?"

The guy coughed out "Everyone's dead."

Daryl "Bullshit."

Dad "There's no one else? You're the only one?"

The guy "Me. The King. The Axe Man. And a short-haired psycho lady. You did this.My people... your people... they're all gone. Damn. And now...me, too."

Then his body went limp.

Daryl and i walked down to the car while dad finished off the other guy.

I grabbed a bag from the truck and put it in the grass.

Dad walked to us.

Daryl "Hey. Give me a hand with this."

Dad "Got it? "

Daryl nodded "Yeah."

They took out a big box and put it in the grass.

I opened it. It was dynamite.

Daryl "We can use these now."

Dad asked confused "What?

Daryl put them in a bag "Well, think about it. There ain't no Kingdom no more."

Dad nodded "Yeah."

Daryl "We know what we got to do. We blow open the Sanctuary, let the walkers flood in. They'll surrender. It'll be done. Hell, we could end this by sundown."

Dad "They have workers in there, right? Families, too. Are there?"

Daryl "We'll hit the south side of the main building. The workers live in the north side. They'll be up the stairs before the walkers even get in."

Dad "What if they don't? There are people in there who aren't fighters. Doing this could change that. Make them pick up guns and stand by the Saviors.And if the Saviors don't surrender, maybe everyone fights us. And we don't have the Kingdom anymore.We're not doing this."

Daryl looked at Dad before shaking his head "No. You ain't doing this."

Dad shoved Daryl "There's a plan, and everyone's sticking to it."

Daryl "Not everyone. There's a lot of our people that are dead, Rick. Things change, man. Negan and that other group, this is on them. If people die, it's their fault, not ours."

I walked over to them.

Dad shook his head "Daryl, we can't do this."

Daryl walked away from Dad "And we got our own people to look after."

dad followed him"We're not doing this. Hey. I'm not letting you do this."

Daryl spun around and punched dad in the face.

I yelled "Daryl!"

Daryl looked at dad "This ain't your choice."

Dad jumped up and threw Daryl to the ground.

Daryl turned Dad around so he was on top.

Dad was able to move back, grabbed the bag and threw it at the car.

Daryl grabbed dad in a headlock.

I saw the car starting to burn.

My eyed widened.

Dad yelled "Daryl"

We started to run away. The car exploded and threw us all back.

I looked at the guys annoyed.

Daryl pulled up next to dad's car.

Dad "There's a plan. We got to see it through."

Daryl "We gotta win."

dad nodded "Yeah, we gotta. Choke hold's illegal, asshole."

Dad "Looks like I'm walking."

Daryl nodded "Yep. "

Dad "I'll meet you when I'm done with the last play."

Daryl "You sure about doing it?"

Dad nodded "Yeah, I am."

Then he looked at me.

I nodded.
