《Jenlisa | Guide To Raising The Sick Villain》48

Lisa stiffened, but did not speak.
Nancy looked at Lisa who was silent and continued, “I saw you on the day of the Games. You and Jennie played cards with Gaeul and others. Later, you went to the stands to watch Jennie’s game. Lisa, why did you do that? You said that you wouldn’t go to the sports meeting, why did you go later?”
Lisa’s ears buzzed, Nancy smiled and said, “You went for Jennie, because that day I told you that the skirt that Jennie wore was particularly beautiful, so you came to see Jennie specially.”
Lisa leaned his back against the chair, his trembling fingers went undetected by him, and his eyes fixed on Nancy, “It’s none of your business.”
Nancy was really angry when she heard this, but she still held back her anger, and said, “You’re right, it has nothing to do with me, but don’t you think it’s strange that you are so close to Jennie, everyone knows your relationship is good, but no one seems to think there is anything more to it. No one else except me realized that you like her, Lisa, do you know why.”
Lisa didn’t want to listen. He intuitively felt that wherever Nancy’s words were they wouldn’t be good. But even then, he didn’t expect what she said.
Nancy told Lisa in a light and fluttering tone, “Because, in everyone’s eyes, you are not a normal person at all.”
“Although many people have been guessing whether Jennie likes Suho or not, and they wonder if there are any other boys who Jennie might be close too. No one counts you among them. In fact, you are the closest person to Jennie, but no one will think of you. Why? Because no one thinks Jennie would like you, Lisa. No matter how smart you are, even if everyone calls you a genius, in the eyes of most people, Lisa, you are not a normal person at all, since you’re not even a normal person, how could anyone think of your name? “
Some words are more chilling than a knife, some more desperate.
“Not a normal person”, these words stuck the most fragile part of Lisa’s heart, and the pain made him almost unable to think.
Lisa opened his mouth, but found that he couldn’t speak at all.
Because he could not think of a reason to refute her words.
Nancy smiled triumphantly.
She originally thought that Jennie would be with Jackson, even if they were not together, they would be very ambiguous, but to her surprise, Jennie directly rejected Jackson.
Nancy was shocked, but she was a little disturbed.
Of course, like everyone else, she would never think that Jennie liked Lisa.
But even if Jennie didn’t like Lisa.
Would Lisa like Jennie?
He might.
Even though Nancy didn’t want to admit it, she saw how Lisa, who had originally said he wouldn’t come to the sports meeting, still came because of her words.
Lisa likes Jennie, she could promise this.

“But Lisa, how dare you?” Nancy stared at him, “I know, it’s normal to like Jennie. She is beautiful, her grades are top-notch, and she’s easy to get along with. I can’t find any fault from her. So it’s normal to like her. There are many people who like her. It’s really nothing, but how dare you like her?”
As Nancy said this, an unspeakable joy appeared in her heart.
“Do you know what Jennie said about you in the dormitory? She said that you are perfectly fine. She also wants us to talk to you more and make friends with you. She said that if you have other friends, she would be happy for you. Lisa, even if you like her, she doesn’t like you at all. I can be completely sure about this, she will definitely not like you. She treats you well because she thought you were pitiful in the beginning. She even looked down on Jackson, of course she wouldn’t fall in love with you…”
Shut up!”
The chord in his heart seemed to be on the verge of collapse, and Lisa’s voice hid his panic and madness.
Shut up, shut up!
There exists an inferiority in his heart that Lisa deeply concealed and didn’t dare to dig out. He didn’t dare to think about it, and he didn’t want to think about it. As long as no one touched him, he seemed to be able to conceal himself from others as if nothing happened.
But now there was a person who uses the most direct method to directly lift all his scars without mercy. All of his bloody wounds and cracks, all of them.
He didn’t want to listen to her anymore, and at that moment he wished he was deaf, but the more he didn’t want to hear it, the clearer he heard.
You are not a normal person at all.
How dare you Lisa.
Lisa’s heart hurt and he felt like he could not breathe well. He clenched his hands, and for a moment, he wanted to pinch Nancy’s neck to let her die.
Nancy was startled by Lisa’s violent appearance, but looking at the wheelchair Lisa was sitting in, she became bolder again.
Lisa couldn’t even stand up, so she was afraid of anything.
“Are you angry?” Nancy stepped back a bit before continuing, “Actually, you should have already understood this in your heart, I just said it outloud, why are you so angry? Lisa, I didn’t want to expose your scars, I just wanted to let you realize what you should’ve known sooner. Don’t like her. OK? She can’t like you, and you don’t dare to tell her, right? After Jackson’s confession, Jennie alienated him. If Jennie knows what you think, What do you think she will do?”
Lisa clenched his teeth, and he seemed to be able to taste blood when he opened his mouth.
“You’re threatening me?”
“No no,” Nancy hurriedly waved her hand, “Like I said before I just want you to recognize it earlier, don’t think about the impossible.”

The impossible, Lisa’s heart seemed empty. Like someone had taken a slice of it, it hurts so much that he felt like he might lose consciousness.
“Then what is possible?”
“The possible thing…” Nancy suddenly blushed, and took a careful look at Lisa, “Lisa, I’m really doing this for your good. Actually, I have liked you since the first time I saw you…”
Lisa looked at her indifferently, and after a long while, an endless feeling of absurdity appeared.
“Like me”, Lisa looked at Nancy, “You just said that I am not a normal person.”
Nancy looked at him with bright eyes, “I don’t care, as long as you are willing to treat me as you did Jennie, I will not despise you.”
Will not despise him?
Lisa finally understood the meaning of a word.
Absurd.
His inferiority is because he cares, because he cares about Jennie, so he feels worthless in front of her.
He has low self-esteem and it is deep within his bones, but when it comes to Nancy, why should he feel inferior, and why should he care about her opinion.
“Jennie is a dream that I dare not think of.” Lisa watched Nancy slowly and said, “But what are you.”
The blush on Nancy’s face disappeared cleanly, and she looked at Lisa incredulously..
Lisa was taunting her?
What qualifications does he have to mock her?
Nancy stood up, “Believe it or not, I can tell Jennie what you think of her right now, and let her know the disgusting and perverted thoughts in your mind…”
“You can try,” Lisa said.
The evil thoughts came silently, he was willing to be the simple and kind Lisa in front of Jennie, but this did not mean that there were no evil thoughts in his heart.
When he was bullied as a child, Lisa thought about letting everyone who bullied him die.
Lisa has suffered too much since he was a child. Lisa was not a saint who didn’t blame anyone. His evil thoughts and darkness had been suppressed, but this did not mean that they didn’t exist.
“Try it,” Lisa said. His expressionless face didn’t have any emotions, but his eyes were so cold that Nancy trembled. “I can let you leave this school silently, and let your parents and your entire family completely collapse. You can try.”
Nancy opened her eyes and laughed suddenly, “You are joking.”
But her voice was a little unstable.
She remembered chatting with some other people about the car that took Lisa to and from school every day, she heard that the price was more than eight digits, which was a sky-high price she didn’t dare to think of.
The courage that Nancy had just summoned was wiped out bit by bit.
_________
In the afternoon, Lisa suddenly handed her a document.
Nancy frowned and took it. Everyone beside him, including Jennie, was surprised that Lisa would take the initiative to give Nancy something, but when he saw Nancy opening the document, he suddenly opened his eyes and covered it.
The documents had detailed information about her family, her parents and even her sister, all of their information was laid out on these sheets of paper, there some things on here that even she didn’t know about.
Nancy looked at Lisa suddenly, her eyes full of horror.
That seemingly weak and bullied boy, with pale skin and light brown eyes, and a sudden thought came to mind, Lisa was like a vampire in an old castle with pale skin and light brown eyes. .
“You can try it.”
Lisa said.
But Nancy dared not.
She held the documents in her hand, her fingers trembling.
Jennie looked at Nancy and Lisa.
After thinking about it, she couldn’t help but ask Lisa in a low voice, “What did you give Nancy.”
“Someone in the foreign affairs office asked me to pass it on. I don’t know.”, Lisa lowered his head and didn’t look at Jennie. He didn’t know when, but he had gradually discovered how to lie so that Jennie would not be aware of it.
Jennie still didn’t believe it, because Nancy’s expression just now obviously looked like she saw something terrifying.
But what made Nancy afraid of Lisa?
Jennie couldn’t think of it.
After getting acquainted with Nancy, she discovered that Nancy’s character was really not good, so she didn’t want Lisa and Nancy to get too close. After all, Lisa was so innocent, and if he got in touch with a lot of bad people that wouldn’t be good.
But Jennie didn’t have a habit of speaking badly behind the scenes, so she could only ask Lisa in a whisper, “Lisa, what do you think of Nancy?”
Lisa turned his face to the side, not looking directly at Jennie’s face.
“I don’t know,” Lisa said lightly, “I don’t know her.”
Jennie smiled and finally breathed a sigh of relief, but she remembered that in the dormitory Nancy would inquire about Lisa and talked about Lisa’s family from time to time. Especially about his good conditions.
Thinking of this, she decided to let Lisa stay away from Nancy.
“The head teacher said that if you want to change seats, you could look for him. Let’s change seats. Don’t sit in front of Nancy.” After she finished talking, she was afraid that Lisa would think about it too much so she added, “I don’t have a good relationship with her.”
Lisa turned his face and looked at the girl’s delicate face, so beautiful that he couldn’t help but want to get closer.
But at the moment when he wanted to get closer, the sharp fact that he could no longer ignore broke everything.
You are not a normal person, how dare you like her.
Lisa suddenly closed his eyes and opened them again after a while, revealing the smile that he had practiced thousands of times and said softly,
“Okay.”

Shift (Ben 10+DCU Fanfiction)
Omnitrix+ DCU, what's not to like? The main character will not be Ben Tennyson, rather someone from our world who gains the Omnitrix Hello! This fanfiction Shift is what I wanted to do for an homage to what I thought were underrated pieces of media, Ben 10 and some DCU characters. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t add context to two of the major works that inspired Shift, Dial, and A Practical Guide to Evil. Dial is another ben 10 fanfiction, however that story takes place in the MCU, and with an adult that is already a grown-up at the beginning of the story. Dial, by my own accounts, is more superficially Like shift, even though the Omnitrix is a central device in both. My protagonist starts out around 18 years old, so is less serious and can build relationships with some of the junior justice league members, and then later on in the story meet the Justice League officially. The tone will be more light-hearted at the beginning of the story as teenagers are known to use sarcasm and jokes at each other’s expense. Furthermore, in Dial, the protagonist has a well-developed knowledge of the MCU which he uses to have knowledge on events and characters, that the character in Shift will not have. While the MC will have some knowledge of people's abilities, lesser-known characters and people's real identities will be not included as much, but the MC of Shift will have some knowledge. APGTE's influence is deeper than Dials'. The epigraphs at the beginning of every chapter are an example of that, a place for light-hearted jokes and worldbuilding that's not pure exposition, but I also want to incorporate narrative stories to Shift (heroes win more than lose, providence, etc) on a lighthearted scale. While the heroes of Shift will have to work to win against villains, the MC of Shift will be allowed limited precognition, through narratives tropes and archetypes as a trade-off of less knowledge of the DCU. For example, a villain a hero faces might monologue, but the MC will not instinctively know how to counter every villain they encounter. I also wanted to bring in more realism than usual superhero stories, ie: the MC cannot just walk and have a meeting with Batman or Superman, he would have to “work his way up” in terms of credibility and whatnot. The Aliens that show up in Shift I tried to make different than the ones in Dial, just to share the love for lesser-known characters. And to make it fairer for the villains of the DCU, the main character will not wantonly use if gain at all an Alien X or a ben 10 form of Kryptonians, just so the characters have to work a little bit for victory. I urge anyone reading to consider checking out both APGTE and Dial as they are both amazing works, and I hope you enjoy them. The beginning of how the MC enters the DCU will not be as important as him actually existing in that universe, so that is why a ton of time is not spent on that part of the story. Chapters will be around 2.5 thousand words and come out around every weekday.
