《Mercy (Pennywise 2017 x Reader) UNFINISHED AND DISCONTINUED》Chapter 16 - Succumb

What have I gotten myself into?
Thought Y/N, sitting hunched over the latest novel she was reading. It was none other than La Belle et la Bête, a novel than she had been recommended strangely enough by Bill, whom had handed it to her to borrow to read for the week.
It was something she hadn't really read ever before; all fairy tales and romantic novels weren't really her favourite, but the story that she had gotten herself into was more intense and satisfying than she had anticipated.
She had come to see the same morals and themes that she had found some-what familiar in her own situation. The morals of trust, love, greed and acceptance were key, but to also face head on challenges made her feel that this book was more suited to her than anything else she had read before.
But also to accept the monster that most feared. A monster or beast that was not being accepted. She couldn't help to laugh at that; a familiarity coming to her own problem.
The 'Beauty' and the Hulking murderous Clown; the two to bring all end to being judged by all. I highly doubt it.
It was also just something to get her mind off of things; to be drawn into this fantasy world and feel apart of the same story that she was slowly falling in love with. Not that she cared, she actually got some days off to not worry about the clown, the other version of her in the past life or any of those missing kids- all she wanted was at least a day off.
Having her head glued to the book that had beautifully formed words on each page made her so engrossed into it all to not really care nor notice the small gust of wind blow across the side of her neck, the ghost of a hand dancing across her S/C skin.
She shuddered, not even thinking much to it; I did close the window, it's fine. She adamantly thought, not prying her eyes away, even when in her mind, her brain begged her to take a peak.
She hadn't needed to worry about having to look, for not even having a choice, something brought the book she had right in her face down roughly: making her groan in annoyance. She was even at the best part.
"...Urgh. Really? I was just reading that you know." She uttered, throwing the book down on the page she was on, to stare at the culprit head on, hovering just opposite from her. Pennywise had It's owlish haunting eyes glued on the book she had just been reading, confusion written on its face.

Pennywise didn't say much, and from where the entity sat crossed legged in front of her, she had noticed just how muddy and unkempt It looked. Must've come back from hunting. She shivered at the thought, not wanting to imagine the poor soul who had just met their end.
"Little bird," She took her eyes away from what she had been looking at - outside her window- to look into Pennywise's eyes. It pointed with a bloody gloved hand over at the book cover, "what is that?"
She eyed it herself, her eyebrows narrowed at the obviousness. "A book?"
It twisted it's form to sit more like a gargoyle. The look It sent her was more of a glare, something that read, 'well obviously it's a f*cking book, what of it?' as a low growl came from the back of it's throat. Demanding as usual. She groaned, glancing down to the cover once again.
"Beauty and the Beast. Nothing much to know than that." She didn't want to go full into detail of the entire novel, nor did she want to be bombarded by questions about it all. All she wanted was for this clown to go away and leave her to herself.
Pennywise's entire body wracked with small pulsing movements, it's shoulders moving back and forth with an awful weird look to them. She had just now realised that Pennywise was laughing.
"...Heh, when did you become so sassy little one?"
Sassy? She never realised herself; Maybe because you're annoying, and you don't answer my questions? She shrugged, not answering the question asked.
A sudden motion of movement in front of her made her suddenly gasp, the feeling of something suddenly wrapping its way around her throat like a python would do to its prey. She gasped, her E/C eyes darting to the clown, whom, had it's pale white gloved hand wrapped about her neck.
Odd, when did that glove turn back to white again? She thought, blinking the tears in the corners of her eyes, as she feared she would run out of oxygen very soon.
Pennywise's face loomed ever-so-closely to hers; the cherry-red lips and white face was twisted into a sneering smirk. Ah crap. More of those games again. She panicked, watching with wide eyes at the actions to take place.
It sniffed at the air around her enclosing throat, the grip didn't seem to be loosening. With the white dots blotting her vision, Y/N could only hope for this clown to let go of her so very soon.

Pennywise let out a long, drawn out chuckle, which reverberated from its hand to around her own neck. Y/N found herself trying to squeak out the words for the entity to let her go, but found only small gasps to leave her drying lips.
"Ah ah ah," Pennywise taunted, yellow eyes flashing orange for a moment; it was haunting. She squeaked like a dog's chew toy, gripping at It's arm to unleash her, but found no compromise. Pennywise hung it's face closer and closer to her own, before it's red lips ghosted over her ear.
It chuckled once again, a raucous giddy laugh that echoed in her head. "Ah," Pennywise took a deep intake of the air, the painted red drawn-on nose gliding across her chin, "there it is."
She had been confused at first from the remark, but had it been for her quickly beating heart and panic ringing in her head, she would've been questioning that she was uncertain. "Your fear," Pennywise huskily whispered in her ear, watching her face and eye movement carefully, "smells... delectable."
She wheezed, squeezing her eyes shut as she couldn't take much longer of seeing the clown's face right in front of her so closely. And even with her eyes shut, she could still feel It's hot breath along her skin, teasingly trying to make her more scared.
"All the times I wanted you dead little one, and all the times you've lived. All those possssible times to watch the life drain from those pretty eyes, but I did nnnnnothing." Pennywise sang in her ear.
"I could do it now, if you want. I could kill you now...Just a little more squeezing and... POP! Off comes that little head of yours! Would you like that Y/N?"
Y/N tried to shake her head no with the little to none movement that allowed her to. Trying to gasp out 'no' seemed to take all the energy out of her. "No? But it would do me such a favor. It would help me from not seeing all the time. You sickening little thing- living in some sh*tty fantasy- just what always thought."
"Tell me," It begun lowly, stroking the messy H/C hair back from falling in her face almost nurturing, "I'll tell you everyttthing you want to know, only if you just shut up and stop asking me."
Y/N was getting her hopes high up when she felt the smallest amount of the pressure around her neck loosening, allowing her a small amount of air for her to breath. "What do you say huh?" It asked.
"Y-Yes..." she gasped as loudly as possible so she could've been heard, nodding her head quickly to plead.
Pennywise's voice mixed in pitches; the octaves changed with each word It spoke. "Good, good... I can finally get the peace when this is over." It muttered mostly to itself, the grip on her neck loosening completely as she crumpled to the bed.
Y/N grasped to her S/C neck, the soreness implied there was going to be a massive bruise left from where she had been almost strangled to death. Yet, even when she was trying to get her breath back, It's words haunted the back of her mind; What did It mean by getting peace when this was over? Did It really want to kill her after this, or would she get to live a little bit longer?
Pennywise watched her with eyes set to kill, a burning light that crisped in those yellow-orange eyes that hid something more that she had dreaded in wanting to know.
In a blink of a eye, the clown was standing at the foot of her bed, hovering over her as the lights and cast of shadow loomed over her figure, engulfing her in the darkness. It even felt cold underneath this shadow - like no light ever shone through.
Both watched it other silently, waiting for whoever to go first in this, and Y/N was the one to begin, gulping loudly to help with her sore throat. "I-I'm all ears."
Pennywise huffed like the child it was. It was almost like this clown didn't even want to go into it at all, or that maybe, just maybe, It could spill all the details that had never been told.
A/N:
A bit of a weird chapter this one, I've been listening to feedback, and one person said that this should include some more romance between Pennywise and the Y/N. Now, that doesn't mean it won't- it's just a slow builder. Hope you understand.

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
