《ABHIRA ONE SHOTS》HIS STUPID GIRL

His head jerked up as he heard someone barging into his cabin.
"Neil? What happened?" he asked confusedly as his PA, Neil, took a moment to steady himself.
"Sir, there's a mad ...I mean a girl asking for you... She is kind a...Mmm...weird..." Neil stammered, not knowing how exactly to define the petite girl downstairs.
What? What girl?" he asked his PA.
"That girl" Neil pointed at the glass wall of his Boss's cabin, which can give him a perfect view of the scenery that girl has created downstairs.
He stood off his chair and moved towards the glass wall.
He looked down to see some of his employees gathered around the reception desk. His eyes darted to his receptionist, whose eyes were wide and she was nodding at something in earnest.
He tilted his head to his right to get a view of what was holding everyone's interest. And as a employee shifted ,he saw a small figure clad in a over sized red T sitting cross legged on the reception desk .
Her light brown hair reaching till her waist.
"What is happening there, Neil? Who is that girl?"
"I don't know, Sir. She is refusing to tell anything. She just wants to meet you."
He turned to look at his PA.
"OK then" He gritted his teeth. "Bring her here" Taking his chair again, he dismissed his PA. How dare a random girl barge in and disturb his office?
After 5 minutes of glaring at his red file, he looked up at the sound of something shattering.
"What the hell...!" He stood off his chair.
"What the...what...the. ...wh..at...th..e." in the short distance from the door to his desk, she broke a vase and a decorative piece.
"Sorry" Her big emerald eyes lifted at him. "Actually your PA pushed me" she pointed at Neil who was standing near the door." I mean kind of..." she added hurriedly before Neil can open his mouth to defend himself.
He just stared at the girl in front of him, who was wearing just a T-shirt?
"What the hell?! Did you come here all the way to my office just in a T-shirt ?" He bellowed.
She looked at him for few seconds before looking down at her.
"Oh..no no...I am wearing shorts too. .see" she lifted her T-shirt to reveal her yellow shorts.
"It's just that T is too large" she smiled her charming smile.
"Put it down , you idiot" He marched towards her and caught her arms. "Where did you go after that night? Where the hell did you vanish to? I searched you everywhere, but it was like you were never there."
She looked down, drawing pattern on the white floor with her slipper clad foot.
"Answer me"
She lifted her eyes, scratching her head.
" Mmm ...Could you ask him to go out, please? I wanna talk to you. ..kind of. ." She bit her lips as she felt his hold on her arms tighten.
"Neil, get out. NOW!"
Akshara heard the door close and the hold on her arms loosen soon. She lifted her eyes to see him moving back and sitting on his chair, face in his palm. She again bit her lips, nervous. Moving ahead, she cleared his desk off his things and taking the support of a chair, she sat cross legged on his desk.
"Abhimanyu?" She called softly. " I wanna talk to you. ..kind of.." She trailed off, not sure how to start, how to tell him.

Abhimanyu lifted his face to look at her. Standing up, he cupped her face. "Akshara, where have you been? Tell me, dammit" He whispered strongly against her lips, the same lips which holds the power to muddle his mind and turn his insides into jelly.
"I.." She lowered her eyes. "I went away" she replied.
He made her look at him. "Why you went away? Thats what I am asking you. Why? Why?! Why?!!"
" I ...I thought of keeping the beautiful moments with me" she crossed her heart. "And avoid the bad ones" She twisted her wrist, waving off.
Abhimanyu stared at her ridiculously confused and implausibly beautiful face. And all he wanted to do was lay her back and kiss her senseless. But no! This is not the time for that. Some serious talk is needed here.
"What bad ones? Be clear" Abhimanyu demanded.
Akshara bit her lips. "I ...I ... Well that's what happens, right? When a billionaire and a poor girl meet. They get attracted, spend time together, make sweet, beautiful love and then part ways at a nasty note. Then they start hating each other."
Her hand lifted to caress the back of his palm. "I didn't want to hate you. ...I liked you. ..I really do. ." She again lowered her eyes. "So just to avoid all the bad things that follows the beautiful moments, I went away. Keeping the beautiful moments with me and avoiding the bad ones...You..." She looked at him. "...get me?"
Abhimanyu stared at her unbelievingly. "You...God! ...I can't believe you" he moved back, running a hand over his face.
"I ...I just can't believe you..Just because you thought...you..." he leaned over her and banged his fist on either side of her.
"thought. .. You thought that some bad might follow the beautiful moments we shared, and so you went away? You...You ridiculously confused, incredibly beautiful, implausibly innocent, unbelievingly petite, extraordinarily dense girl! I searched you like a mad all these 17 months and you. ...you thought? Why do you put your tiny brain to work anyways?! "
"You were searching me? Why?"
Abhimanyu gritted his teeth. What is he supposed to do with this girl?
"Because you stole my golds!" He blasted. Catching her by her waist, he pulled her against him, crushing her small frame against his strong one.
"Because I want you with me, you fool. Because I missed you... Because I wanted my every moment to be as beautiful as the ones spent with you... Because I wanted my every night to be as beautiful as that night."
"You really want me with you?" She whispered against his ear, uncertain.
Abhimanyu pulled back and stared at her sweet face for few seconds before his lips met hers in a sweet kiss filled with longing. He missed this sweetness. He missed the feel of her soft feminine body against his.
He missed her nonsense talk. He missed looking in her emerald liquid and drowning in there. He simply missed her, whole of her.
Putting her on her feet, he cupped her face. "I want you with me...please?"
"I...I" Akshara shuttered. "First I want to talk to you. ...No I want to show you something... Could you please come with me?"
Abhimanyu nodded his head without a second thought. "Of course ... but where?"
"To my place"
Abhimanyu took her hand in his and nodded his head. "Come"
Everyone in the office were expecting a volcano to erupt and its lava to burn them all. But on a contrary, they saw their Boss coming out of his cabin with that crazy girl's hand in his, and was that a small smile on his lips?

"Bye Mrs. Meli. You listened to my kitten's story so patiently. You are such a wonderful lady"
Every head turned to the receptionist, Mrs.Meli, who smiled awkwardly. "My...my pleasure, Mam"
Akshara smiled and waved at Mrs.Meli before the elevator door closed before her.
Abhimanyu stopped his SUV as he reached the address Akshara had given him and then had opened the backdoor to throw herself in, telling him she would take a nap till they reach her place as she was up yesterday whole night.
Now he looked back to see her sleeping like a log. Sighing, he got down the car and opened the back door.
"Akshara, get up we are here" Abhimanyu called and shook her leg.
Akshara opened her eyes groggily and looked at him.
"Are we?" she rubbed her eyes. "So soon" pouting, she climbed off the car.
Akshara took the three stairs leading to her block, Abhimanyu followed her. She rang the doorbell and waited for the door to open.
"Akshara" An elderly lady emerged in front of them. "Thank God you are here"
Akshara smiled. "Thank you Mrs.Johns for helping me."
"Oh any time dear any time. But now I should leave. Bye" The elderly lady moved out, leaving the two alone.
"Akshara, what is that you wanted to show me?" Abhimanyu asked.
Akshara nodded her head and took his hand in hers. "Come..." Getting inside the house, she closed the door.
Abhimanyu looked around to see a small messy room.
"Ignore the mess please, it's just that I saw your news on the TV and made a dash to meet you."
Akshara explained.
"Sit on the couch, I will be back soon."
Abhimanyu saw her moving inside a room as he took the couch. The room was small, really small.
A couch in the center, a small TV in front, a small fire place to his right. And...nothing else. He buried his face in his palm and waited for her to make an appearance again.
"No...Nope. ..do not expect me to carry you...You two need to be independent. Just follow me...come on fast. ... Crawl crawl crawl...Yes! That's like good babies. "
Abhimanyu's head jerked up at her sound, and soon she stood before him. She smiled and gestured him to look past her.
And as he did, he was robed off his breath. He stood up in a daze. He just stared at the two implausibly tiny figures in front of him, whose big wonder filled eyes were already stuck at him.
"Ak..Akshu?...You...babies?" His eyes darted from the babies to Akshara.
"Babies..." Akshara started, her foot again busy making patterns on the floor.
"My babies. .." She whispered softly and lifted her eyes to look at him. "And. ..and. ...and yours too" she said it finally.
Abhimanyu's wide eyes stared at her for few seconds before fixing at the babies. "My babies?? I ...Akshara? " He walked towards her and caught her arms.
Damn you Abhimanyu Birla... you are a fool... how can you fall for an incredibly naïve foolish girl...why doesn't he feel angry but find her actions impossibly cute and stupid...you are in one hell of a trap Abhi...
" Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant, dammit?! Why are you so impossible, Akshara? Why? Why are you so weird?"
Her misted eyes looked at her babies. Getting away from Abhimanyu, she picked her twins and made them sit on the couch.
"They still can't sit on their own." Akshara said, not looking in his eyes.
"Akshara, answer my question, you fool!" Abhimanyu bellowed.
"I...I told you in your office. ... I didn't want to part on a bad note. And...and when I knew about my pregnancy, you had left the city. I...I thought that's God's sign of telling me to not tell you about the baby. I was afraid too... I...I and my Mother..."
She tried to swallow the lump in her throat. "I and my Mother were always a burden on my father. He always treated us like some burden. I didn't want to feel like that again...and I don't want my babies to live that feeling. . It feels really bad... The person you expect to love you when treats you like a burden, then it hurts really bad."
Tears flowed down her alabaster cheek. " But. .."
She sniffed.
"When yesterday I took them to the park, I saw a man playing with his baby. He was tickling his baby with his beard. My babies were staring at them. I want to give them everything, everything. ...I want to love them, spent time with them, teach every right thing to them...but yesterday I realized I certainly can't grow beards to tickle them, I can't give them a Father's love. They need you too. ..Not every Father in the world is like my Father, are they? And today...today morning I saw in the news that you are back in the city. And I took that as God's way of telling me that I should tell you about our babies...So...So...I came to meet you. .."
She sobbed. She felt like she was falling apart again. The same familiar feeling of loneliness engulfing her. But it vanished soon as she was enveloped in comforting warmth.
"Shhh...No, every man is not like your Father...every Father is not like your Father..." He crushed her small broken frame against his. "Stop crying. .."
"Are you mad at me, Abhimanyu?" She asked in a tear-thick voice, holding him tight.
Abhimanyu shook his head. " No...no I am not. ...stop crying. ... We are together now. ..we will stay together. .." He pulled away. Tucking a strand behind her ear, he kissed her forehead. " Always. .forever. ... I promise, Akshara. ."
"Promise?"
"Promise" he sealed the promise with a kiss. "Now would you introduce your babies to their Papa?" Abhimanyu smiled.
Akshara smiled through her tears and nodded at him. She turned to see her babies trying to climb down the sofa. Smiling, she picked them and helped them to get down the sofa. As soon as she put them down ,she saw them crawling to Abhimanyu.
Abhimanyu knelt in front of his babies, his eyes watery and throat hurting. He is a Father now.
"Hey there, how are you both doing?" He picked them in his arms.
"Are both girls?" Abhimanyu looked at Akshara.
Akshara shook her head chuckling. She sat in front of him. " This is Abhira..." She pointed at the baby in red T and blue shorts. "And this is Abhinav.." She said looking at the baby clad in green T and white shorts.
"And babies, this is your Papa.."
Abhira looked at her Father, her eyes catching a shiny thing on his ear. Squealing, she took the thing in her tiny hand, inspecting closely.
Abhimanyu smiled, least bothered about his expensive Bluetooth.
"You like it? You can keep it." He kissed his girl's cheek soundly, and looked at his boy.
"And you, what do you want?" Sitting cross legged on the floor, he kept the babies on his lap and removed his cell.
"Here, you want this?" He handed the phone to Abhinav.
"Don't give them those things , they might break it " and no sooner those words left her mouth, she saw abhira throw the bluetooth, soon followed by Ian.
"Oh my God! Abhira! Abhinav! What is this!" Akshara shouted.
"Don't worry, Akshara. They can break everything. I will buy them more." Abhimanyu said proudly.
"No! You are not supposed to teach them that"
"No?" Abhimanyu asked, uncertain.
"No!" Akshara glared.
"OK." Abhimanyu looked down at his kids.
"Mommy says you are not supposed to break things, so do not do that, OK?" He said to his kids.
Abhira grinned and wiggled out of his Father's arms, crawling to her Mother she tried to climb on her.
"Abhira what are you doing?" Akshara giggled.
"Oh..Woah. .." She lost her balance and fell flat on her back, taking Abhira with her. Akshara laughed. "You naughty girl"
Abhimanyu smiled at the scene in front of him, holding his son close to heart. But soon the smile from his face vanished as his eyes darted to Akshara's bare stomach. He frowned and leaned little to get a clearer view.
Hot tears filled his eyes at once as he realized what it was. It was stitch marks. He swallowed the lump and looked at her giggling face. Putting his Son down, he leaned and kissed her marks.
Startled, Akshara looked down. "Abhimanyu?"
Abhimanyu looked at her. Taking his kids in his arms, he pulled Akshara up and hugged the three close to his chest.
"I promise to be always there with you and our babies, Akshara. "
Akshara smiled, hugging him back. "Thank you...that's all I want."
"I love you, Akshara."
Akshara moved back and stared at him wide eyes. "Abhimanyu?"
"No, Akshara.. .It's not because of the kids. ..I really mean it. Those 17 months without you were enough to realize how much you mean to me. I really love you. ..Will you marry me?"
Tears flowed down her cheek freely.
" Yes. ...I will. ..I love you too. .. Loved you every second of the past 17 months. " She kissed him.
Their twins squealed in unison, cementing the confession further.
