I do have to say, this event is certainly an unforgetable one for me. The day started as usual as my life can get. I am a knight, and as a knight we have jobs to complete to keep everything in order.

That morning I got a special request from the most interesting of people. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, however this opportunity is hard to come by as a knight, impossible in fact. If I was dreaming I wouldn't be surprised. After all a land who has a strong dislike for knights to now be welcoming one is not something you see everyday.

This isn't something I can pass up. The special request though, ironically does not even have the request written on it. It did however, contain an invitation to Snowfei, the time and location. It could be a trap for all I know. But still, I'm bored of this mundane routine, so I'll take any entertainment I can get, even if I'm being tricked.

Sadly before I go, I might need to report to headquarters before leaving the country, they don't want me going places without their approval after the last incident overseas. I still do not understand what I did wrong, but I guess I broke order in the town pursuing the culprit. If we can't break the order to pursue a threat, then what is the order protecting?

Criminals?

We made it, I hate this place. This building is one of many headquarters of knights. This might sound exciting to you.. but it's nothing but ordinary. The sound of scribbling on paper and the smell of coffee. Yep, this was only office space. I try to spend as little time here as I can.

I walked towards the reception desk.

"Hello, um Chloe?" I waved awkwardly at the person sitting behind the desk.

"You again." She sighed "It's Cindy, get it right for once in your life, will it kill you?"

"Right, well I'm going out of town, I'll need approval from the main office." I showed her my ID.

"I don't even need the ID to know who you are. The weird girl who witholds her name. You have permission to go to the main office, Ms. Snake is on her lunch break so you may need to wait a while. Go on, you know where it is, with how many times you've been there."

"Thanks.." I took back my ID, climbed up the stairs and entered the workspace. Then I sat down and I waited about fifteen minutes and twenty-eight seconds to be precise.

"Alright what, and what can be so important to ruin my appetite? Seriously, I almost had a heart attack from just hearing your number." Miss Snake stormed in as angry as I ever see her and sat down the chair opposite of me.

"What have you done this time?" She asked ready to suspend me again.

"Me? Nothing. I would never ever come here willingly if I have done something wrong. No, I got a request from far from here. And as per agreement, I have to obtain approval from you. So you see I would have never ruined your food by choice nor would I ever come here if it wasn't for that stupid rule." I replied with a smirk, to remind her that in fact I was right and she was completely in the wrong. Honestly why do I get pushed around by these people.

She burst into laughter. "People are still willing to hire you from overseas even after what you did? Hilarious! Where are you even going? To Free land to pick up their garbage?"

"That is irrelevant." I sighed "All you need to know is that you will sign one of those papers and let me go on my little 'school' trip."

"You're acting like a toddler. Do not mock people who are higher than you. If you do not show me the job, you can consider yourself a knight who can't do anything for the people around her because mum grounded her."

I chose to say nothing more and just gave her the paper slip, however I did not give her the invitation, that was something she didn't have to know.

"You're joking me right? This is either a trap for you or for me. Maybe you want the approval so you can go wherever you want! Snowfei, are you.. did you even think this through? They don't even allow knights in their kingdom. Then why would queen Charlotte, of all people, want you there!" She looked like she wanted to say more but stopped herself.

"I know what you're thinking, but I did not falsify this. This is very interesting, don't you think? I promise, I will bring results." I leaned back and crossed my arms.

"Why, you must think I'm some sort of idiot! Absolutely not! I'm tired of turning a blind eye to you just because you aren't an adult yet! Honestly, I do not know what he ever saw in you.. Consider yourself suspended from any jobs until further notice. You're not getting paid, so you might as well go to find other work. Hand over the badge."

I hesitantly handed it over and then she shooed me out of her office.

Well, it can't be helped. I doubt she would let me go even if I showed her the invatation. So, when something like that happens, I can always go behind their backs undercover. To my demise not with this.. hair. My hair is white, very noticable I would stick out like a sore thumb. I would have to wear a wig. Thankfully this isn't the first time I've done this, so I already have one prepared. I would also need to dress far more differently from my usual attire, my uniform can be quite.. flashy. Plus, I'm pretty sure Snowfei won't give me a very warm welcome. I never knew what their deal was with knights and I can hardly care at this moment. I decided an oversized black coat along with grey overalls and a white T-shirt would do the trick, I could always make up an excuse that I'm moving for school reasons. It is autumn, and I'm a teen so, I think they will buy it. Although, just in case this does happen to be a trap, I tied the wig into a high bun, and tucked a thin knife carefully in it. That way, I'll at least have something to defend myself with. Better then nothing right?

Since I'm 'suspended' I can't use any cool equipment, oh well not like Ms. Snake would let me hold on to a laser gun or a venom sword anyway. However not being in proper knight gear not only means I'm more vonourable, I'm also forced to use public trains. This will be a gamble, since on some busy days the trains are cramped with passengers, while on the others there are barely ten people. Meaning that depending on the number of people inside, there are chances that a fellow knight will approach me asking to see a train ticket. And since Snowfei is a field of speculation for us, they will most likely have questions..

Upon arriving at the station, I sat down and waited twenty minutes and two seconds. The doors opened, and I just might have jinxed myself with this one. Only fourteen people are here, so I can't vanish into the crowd this time. I took my seat at the end of the train and hoped that the inspection won't arrive. Even though the possibilities were slim since Snowfei is the last stop on this train line..

I looked outside of the window. Buildings passed so fast next to me they were more of a blur in my eyes. I cannot explain how the same streets I pass through everyday feel different from this angle. I guess it's because I can see all the people from here. That woman is in a hurry there, the man over there is walking his dog and.. that little girl over there is crying..? Why?

I got carried away trying to understand what everyone was doing that.. two hours had gone by.. I think?

The train will be stopping for a short time for inspection, please do not leave the train.

Well, it lasted long enough.. The train stopped shortly after and two knights walked in. Some luck in an unlucky situation. These were only normal inspector knights. I would've been in real trouble if some knights of a higher rank decided to hop on for some reason.

"May I see your ticked?" The inspector approached me.

"Of course.. let me just find it.. ah here it is!" I handed it to him. He checked to see if it was legit.

"Snowfei huh? What are you doing there?" He looked at me suspiciously.

"Well, yea." I smiled "I'm transferring to a new school, my mum found a better job there so we moved. I was just visiting a friend."

He nodded "I see, what's it like around there?"

"Very cold." I replied.

"And you don't.. see us differently perhaps?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"No! Of course not!" I shook my head "I can never forget what knights have done to protect us, and besides, I think you guys just get a bad rep. Maybe one day they will see just how great you all are!"

"Right," he grinned "thank you for you time Miss."

The feeling of relief in my mind was immeasurable after that moment, only to quickly disappear after the sound of loud footsteps as someone else rushed into the train.

"I was almost late, huh?" He stated breathing rapidly from the exhaustion.

He showed his ID to the inspectors.

"Isaak Ivor? I saw you in the newspaper." One inspector spoke

"Oh right, aren't you the head of an ongoing investigation of the sudden attack on the knights?" Another added.

"Inspectors knights, may I have a chat with you for a second?" The knight asked earning a slight nod from both of the inspectors.

"What are you doing here? What is going on?" A man who was sitting just a few rows ahead of me questioned. Everyone was confused. Except for me. Shit. I was afraid he would come. Isaak Ivor, Zack.

All three of them came back with Zack breaking the tension in the train.

"Calm down everyone, I assure you are not in severe danger. If you comply to my demands and answer my questions,

everything will go smoothly and no one will be hurt, alright?" I assisted this guy in one of the rescue missions, but my aid was trivial so I don't think he will recognize me, however..

"Mister. May I question you first?" He requested

"Oh, me?" The man got a nod as a response. "Sure.."

The sudden attack on the three knights two weeks ago.. at HQ. I asked to assist on the case, but Miss. Snake did not allow me, so I only know a little bit. The culprit is believed to be from Snowfei..

"See that wasn't sooo bad!" Zack remarked after they both returned.

"Excuse me? May I go to the bathroom?" I asked the inspectors.

"Yes, of course!" Zack replied, even though I wasn't talking to him.

As I made my way to the bathroom I heard him whisper something to the other knights. I can guess that they will keep a close eye on me, I can tell, he is already suspicious. All odds are against me. I just need to go do my business jeez!

The only thing I can do is somehow figure out who was the one behind the attack that day. But my position makes it impossible! This is painful!

Five minutes and fourty seconds passed.. I have to return. I have a plan. It's risky, but I've gotten way to far for someone to mess this up for me..

I walked up to Zack and signaled for him to follow me outside..

He reluctantly followed me.

"What do you want?" He inquired.

"Simply put, a favour for a favour." I answered.

I showed him my ID.

"Oh, so you're that girl who got suspended for a millionth time! Ms. Snake was so furious, I don't even know how you manage to piss her off this much!" He laughed.

"That's right, and since I'm suspended, you know full well that I shouldn't be on this train, let alone going to Snowfei, and you will surely report this to the higher ranks, and I will be fired. So I propose a deal. I will solve this case for you in exactly five minutes if you give me the case files. You can take all the credit and money for it. And in return, this little issue doesn't get reported. Got it?"

"Is this a deal or a threat?" He chuckled.

"Depends on what you chose." I say in a low tone.

"Alright then. Only because this case has been bugging me for weeks. Here is everything you need to know." He handed me the case files.

The timer starts. Alright let's see.

The victims of the assault were: Finn Kenedly, Hailey Autumn and Tin Wednesday. They all gave statements that they did not know of who the attacker was, as they were wearing a mask. The culprit used a baseball bat and knocked them out cold. Then left a Snowfei symbol on a piece of paper, and Finn, before passing out stated that the culprit fled out the window using just a rope. However, no such thing was found at the scene.

"Have you searched for a rope in this train." I asked Zack, to witch he responded, "Yes, but nothing of the sort was found." I see.

"That was not important to them then. They could've left it wherever and it would be impossible for us to find it. We have to search for the mask. That is something they couldn't have left behind. I read in the newspaper, the mask that the victims described is a special mask from Snowfei, and is only produced there. If they love their kingdom as much as to include it in their own crime scene, they couldn't leave it behind." I replied.

"Like I said we checked in their bags, clothes, everywhere!"

"Check the celling, floor, bathrooms, and other places where the culprit might have hid it. Also check all of the passengers hands for rope burns or for damaged gloves. I will observe the people in the train." I ordered.

"On it." He replied and ran back in the train.

I walked back and once one minute and seven seconds passed, I got up.

"So, one of you people had the courage to attack knights and flee to this train, making me out to be suspicious. You were probably lucky to have a passenger who is going to Snowfei. The problem is, I cannot be the one who committed the assault. I have an airtight alibi. Actually we already know who did it. The police is already on the way. If I were you, I would suggest to run."

And just like that, my declaration was all it took for a woman to get up, push me from the train and run away. Can't believe she actually bought that.

Shortly after the knights ran after her and the bus was left with only thirteen people. I solved the case in six minutes and fourty seconds, only a few moments late from what I had promised. But I did expose her. I do not know how or why she did it, but that's their job, not mine. I just needed the train to get moving as soon as possible. I do, however hope they found something incriminating on this train while searching. Remember our deal Zack Isaak Ivor, head of the investigation, because of you, I will be late. The train finally started, and with the rest of the passengers staring at me, I went back to my seat and stayed quiet the rest of the ride.
