《Alpha Theo || ✓》03 | alpha theo

"What is happening here?" An unfamiliar voice boomed from the door way, I couldn't see who because the two knuckleheads in front of me were blocking my view.
"We were just taking care of the daughter Alpha, she was making a fool of us, almost woke up the pups downstairs." The first man spoke.
Wait, Alpha?
I felt my eyes widen in shock. The man was an Alpha? That would mean that I was never outnumbered and attacked by a group of rogue, but a group of pack-members from a different pack.
Why on earth would they attack me? And why would they take me? I resisted to gasp. Why on earth would they kidnap another pack's pack member, within their own territory.
Was my family in trouble?
The men in front of me spoke together about god knows what, I couldn't listen in-- I was still so shocked.
That was mean that the two men that came in at first are most likely the Beta and Gamma, by the amount of power they held within their voice when they spoke to me-- not to mention their mad slaps.
Suddenly, the conversation that was being held had stopped abruptly, the man that was called Alpha lifted his nose into the air, sniffing aggressively. I would have let out a obnoxious laugh if it wasn't for the fact that he could rip me to shred-- him being an almighty alpha while I'm a puny human.
"Can you smell that?" The Alpha, I presume, asked. His sniffing getting more and more aggressive as the men before him looked just as confused as I felt.
"I can't smell anything Alpha," The Beta raised an eyebrow as the Gamma sniffed the air then agreed. "Alpha Theo, what did you smell?"
Theo? Why was that name familiar?
Alpha Theo started smelling intensely, his breathing turning shallow. His Beta and Gamma looked at each other confused, before realisation sunk in and their eyes landed on me in fear.
I was still just as confused as I was before, my anger long forgotten.
They stepped away from me. The emotions on their faces were both shock and horror-- all aimed at me as they continued to move further. I don't understand, what had I done? I wasn't even speaking and they look as if they're afraid of me.
I mean, they should be. The little bitches.

For the first time, they moved out of my view and my eyes finally landed on Alpha Theo.
It would be such an understatement if I was to say he was simply hot, the man was gorgeous-- hell he was beautiful. His hair flopped messily on his forehead, only inches from over his eyes, and his jaw was covered his rough stubble as it was recently trimmed. After completely analyzing his face, my eyes found his strikingly electric blue ones.
He was staring straight at me as I openly checked him out.
I wanted to look away, I really did, but for some reason I resisted to move my head away. My eyes stuck on his face as I refused to move. My faces began to feel hot and I knew that my cheeks had reddened.
He was still staring at me but made no movements towards me nor did he say a thing, only stared.
Take a picture, it lasts longer.
Finally, I looked away with my cheeks burning. Removing my focus from Alpha Theo, I began focusing on the chain on my leg and pulled at it in annoyance.
For a moment, I had forgotten that I had gotten kidnapped.
"Unchain her now." The Beta hissed at the man next to him, who quickly hurried to my ankles. When they were released, I jumped from the bed right to pounce on the men in front of me, right to make a move to escape. However as fast as I had gotten up, I fell down. My legs felt increasingly weak as I fell to the ground instantly after only being on my feet for a millisecond.
However, before I had hit the ground, an arm snaked it's way around my waist and pulled me back up. I looked straight up to see my eyes inches from those strikingly electric blues ones from earlier-- Theo. He made no movement so to let me go, and for some reason I made no movements to push him away.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, the atmosphere in the room making my head spin.
What on earth is going on?
"Mate."
The room was silent after Theo's words.
My eyes instantly widened at the man that still had his arms around me. He was my mate? I didn't know how to feel, I just knew I shouldn't feel good. I have always wanted a mate and I always dreamed of finding my mate but I didn't dream it like this.

I want to meet my mate when I actually feel the connection, right now-- due to the wolfsbane in my system-- I feel nothing.
Theo lifted his hand slightly, slowly caressing my cheek. Before he could fully rest his hand upon my cheek, I quickly flinched away and finally made the decision to push away from him, causing distance that he disliked.
He let out a low growl, but it wasn't directed to me. His head turned as he glared at the two shaking cowards he had assigned as his Beta and Gamma. I backed on to the bed as I witnessed Theo's eyes shift colours with his emotions, it was clear he was angry.
"What the hell did you do to my mate?" He growled, his hands clenched in to a tight fist, his targets obviously being the men in front of him. His fists were so tight, I was almost worried that his claws would come out and slice through his hand.
His Gamma looked quite younger than both of the men, so it wasn't unexpected when he hid behind the Beta, who still had nothing to say to his leader. "Bloody hell, Grey! Tell me that you done to my mate." Theo yelled at the Beta, whose name is-- I assume-- Grey. Slowly, he inched his way closer to Beta, who started to look like a shaking puppy to me.
"Well, we uh--" He kept stuttering and stumbling over his words. "--um, injected her with wolfsbane to take her down, it-- she was really strong." Grey finally finished, waiting for his Alpha to roar at him, and boy did he roar.
"You injected my mate with wolfsbane? Do you know what that can do to her wolf? You stupid son-of-a--" Theo began to scare me, his yelling starting to increase and I knew that in a moment, his clenched fist would fly in the air and hit his own Beta.
I didn't want him to hit Grey, I wanted to do that myself.
As fast as my weak body could move, I launched towards the men and I grabbed Theo's fist, gently holding it before it could have contact with Grey's face.
He instantly loosened his grip and turned to me, a pained expression evident on his face. He forgot all about his men behind him, which was lucky because as soon as he had looked away they decided that it was prime time to run off.
I wasn't surprised, I would do the same.
Returning my focus on Theo, I noticed he continued to stare in to my eyes, a small frown visible on his face as wrinkles appeared on his forehead.
"You can't feel anything between us, can you?" Theo muttered, he held my hand with both of his I didn't answer straight away, I knew how important a mate was. I know I feel attracted to him a little, but not the instant 'oh my god it's my mate' attraction.
"Well, I think you're really hot." I blurted out, in hopes to loosen the frown on his face. Even though I can't feel the mate pull, I know that he is my mate and there was no denying that he was indeed hot.
He must feel incredibly awful that I couldn't send the same instant love and desire back. But thankfully, my plan to make him laugh worked. He let out a light chuckle at my comment, shaking his head slightly as he focused on my hands.
What the heck am I doing? His goons just kidnapped me!
I tilted my head slightly, looking at my surroundings. I never got told where I was, who took me from my own pack. Realisation finally hit me on what I was doing.
I instantly looked up at Theo, pulling my hand away from his as I widened my eyes in fright and horror.
"Where did you take me, who are you?" I whispered, my breathing turning shallow.
I didn't know why I was here, hell I didn't even know the man in front of me. I felt the fear in my stomach, only certain fears can achieve it, I knew then-- that I wouldn't like the answer my so-called mate was about to give me. I wasn't going to like it one bit, was I?
"I'm Alpha Theo, Alpha of the Black Dawn Pack." My stomach dropped like a weight and instantly, I knew why his name was so familiar.
I didn't like it one bit, not at all.
My mate was the Alpha of the Black Dawn Pack.
My mate was the Alpha of my rival pack. A pack that has killed so many people in my pack, a pack that had destroyed families within my pack. A pack with an Alpha that killed Lane.
My mate killed my uncle.

At The Precipice
Defenseless. Scared. Alone. That describes the life of Brock Carter as of late. Following his ‘death’ at the hands of a vicious magpie, Brock is rescued by the machinations of the newly instated, all-powerful System and thrust knee-deep into a brutal world catered only to the strong. Fluctuating between two states of being and trapped within a city ravaged by time, he is told to either seek out the mysterious ‘Source’, or die trying. He just hopes he can do it without scuffing his expensive suit in the process. ***** Honestly, I've just always wanted to write a story. I had a crack at it a few years back, but the entire thing fell apart before it even began. At The Precipice was originally written as a way for me to destress and play with System elements and characters, but eventually I decided that if I was gonna write, why not post it too? Writing's just a hobby of mine, so don't expect this to be at published novel level, I guess, or even anything of relative polish. Updates every Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs-Fri Average chapter length is 2000 - 3000 words ***** What to expect: - A semi-comedic/light tone, mixed in with a gritty world and brutal survival (not ever grimdark though) - An MC that thinks about what he's going to do and why he'll do it, even if his internal logic is lacking. Is a rather rational person, not often influenced by his emotions, but can be in extreme situations. - A plot heavily focused upon the MC, but one that will branch off to envelope the other characters in the world at times. Often, it's just other people's perspectives of him. - A story of power growth. While the MC is certainly going to be powerful, even over 100 chapters in from what I've written, he still isn't the strongest being on Earth, let alone the entire Multiverse. - Lots of gore, vivid fight descriptions, and often times deaths of people, some even somewhat important to the story ***** Things this story will never have: - Harems - An edgy, villainous MC - An MC that does jackshit about things for 'plot reasons'
