《Alpha Theo || ✓》10 | hollybear

I stared through the window, the silence in the room slowly eating away at me.
It has been a few hours since Theo has left the room, and everyone had arrived back from school-- I could hear almost everything from downstairs, they are so loud.
As much as I'd love to start getting close to Theo, a thought always occurred in my head;
What about my family?
Yes I know, I shouldn't be thinking about anyone but myself when it comes to mates, but I couldn't help it. My mate was the Alpha of the most ruthless pack known, which also happened to be my pack's biggest rivals. There was almost no way that our packs could be civil just because the Alpha's daughter was the mate of the fearless rival Alpha himself.
But his kisses. Of course, I have been kissed before, I've been in various relationships which had ended before anything serious-- that I was saving for my mate-- and I've had some good kisses in my life, but Theo's? Theo's lips felt like they were made to fit mine, which I guess in someway they were.
His kisses were heavenly.
I sighed, I shouldn't be thinking about all these things. I continued to look through the window, my mind wandering back to my pack as I gazed at that Weres playing in the garden.
Do they miss me? Are they trying to get me back? Do they even know that this is the pack that I was kidnapped by?
Suddenly, my body jerked from my bed in shock, my eyes widening at the scene below me.
The scene was no longer children of all ages playing in the garden and multiple adults having a nice chat with one another, instead I now saw multiple wolves growling, appearing from the trees. The children that were once happy and playing were now frightened and running in to the house as they were guard by others. The adults that were once enjoying a simple conversation between friends were now growling back, some had even already shifted.

Was Theo's pack under attack?
I looked at the wolves that had trespassed, they weren't rogues, their fur was shining. Rogue is dirty and rough. I looked at each wolf one by one, slowly realizing what is happening.
They were my pack.
My pack has come to rescue me.
As if it was timed Theo ripped the bedroom door open, the smashing causing me to turn away rapidly.
"Come on, we must go." He ordered, pulling my arm towards him and through the door.
"What? No, I can't go! I can stop them." Theo growled as I tried holding my place but failing due to his incredible strength.
"You aren't stopping anyone, we are leaving!" I was being pulled away, my protests were being ignored. Soon enough, Theo had finally pulled me through the entire house and out the front-- while my pack was at the back of the house.
"Alpha Theo, where do you think you're going with my daughter?"
I froze as Theo pushed me behind him. I looked over his shoulder to see my father, his Beta Mace, and some of the best warriors in my pack. My father's eyes met mine, he was angry yet when he saw me his expression had softened slightly.
"Hollybear, how are you?" I felt my eyes tear up, and I made a move to get to my father but was quickly stopped by Theo's arm. I glared up at him, but he seemed unfazed.
How dare he? This was my father, my father that he dragged me away from.
"She is my mate, so she will be staying with me." He stated, "So you can go now, thanks for stopping by though." My mate smirked at my father as he was slowly turning red in anger. The Beta growled at the disrespect in Theo's voice which he had responded with a snarl that silenced Mace.

It hurt me watching this, I didn't know who to go with. I didn't know whether to listen to my head and go back to my pack, or listen to my heart and stay with my mate, becoming his pack's Luna.
But was a ready to be a Luna? Was I ready to have a mate.
Searching for years made me tired of the thought of even having a mate, I lost hope thus I lost want.
"I think it is her decision whether or not she would like to stay or not, and I am almost certain I know her answer." My father retaliated, not breaking eye contact with Theo once. Mace, on the other hand, looked straight at me. His eyes were filled with all kinds of emotions.
'Please, you know your mother is sick, she needs you.' He spoke through our mindlink-- as I was dosed with so much wolfsbane, it disabled my ability to receive or send mindlinks. The link was weak, the wolfsbane had disabled me and severed the link so much it was taking a while to come back.
And that was one of the facts that I have been trying to avoid thinking of while I was held captive here.
It is true, my mother is sick. Just because we are werewolves and we heal from a broken neck, doesn't mean we don't get sick. My mother fell sick two years ago, til this day we still don't know what it is. She was becoming weaker and weaker everyday, coughing up more blood day after day. It was only two months ago that she had become bed-ridden, her bones had become brittle and she become too weak to even stand for longer than five minutes.
We still don't know what's wrong with her.
"Hollybear, do you want to come home?" I sighed, knowing what I was going to say, knowing what I had to say.
Was this what my mother wanted?
"Dad," I slowly moved from Theo's shadow so I was face to face with my father. Mace looked at me, smiling at me as if he knew I made the right choice. Without turning around, I could feel Theo retreat slightly, despite not yet accepting the bond, I could still feel his emotions-- pain.
My father smiled at my movements, reaching out to take my hands in his. I felt nice holding my father's hand after so much-- come to think of it, I'm not sure how long I've been here.
Pulling me in to a hug, my heart squeezed.
"When we get home, we will celebrate your birthday properly." I chuckled sadly at my father's happiness, remembering that I was taken the morning of my birthday. I pulled away, breaking all physical contact to my father.
"I'm already home." My voice was nothing but a whisper.
I was leaving my pack to stay with my mate.
"Home is with my mate, and my mate is here." I backed away from my old pack, backing in to my mate's open arms.
My mother would want me to be with my mate, she had always spoken about when I find my mate that I should never let him go. Hell, she's always dreamed about the day I would find my mate. It was break her to find out I left him soon after I found him.
At my words, I saw my father's face fall and I couldn't dare look at Mace's disappointed gaze.
Theo instantly placed his arms around my waist, as if they were made to be there, his head nuzzled in to my hair, resting on my neck.
"Welcome home, love."
