The sky hides in his eyes,

clouds swirling among turquoise blue,

beyond the horizon, above the sea,

ocean foam rising with every clash of waves

and the Sun's bright shine

lights him up from the inside,

yet he covers it up, keeping it under wraps.

They always said that

pain is beauty and beauty is pain,

never thought it would be so literal;

losing humanity with every look,

a glance into infinity

spanning across time and space,

the only thing constant is him.

Eyes of fimament

separating us mortals

from his domain of heavens;

shaded by his hair,

flowing and silken,

colour that of a fresh-fallen snow

on a crispy winter morning;

in contradiction with his jovial personality,

all bright smiles and jokes ready on tongue,

grand gestures and body motions;

behind it all is just a small boy,

lonely, scared and frightened

bloody, battered and broken,

unable to reach out on his own,

powerless to the expectations they have

of the strongest man alive

who walks among stars;

he is a force of nature

in the face of others' gods;

omniscient yet blind.
