《Marvel One-Shots》Don't Cry

Peter had been having a good day. He got an A on his math test and showed Ned his new LEGO set. The two boys had been playing for a while when the bully of the elementary school came up. "Hey Puny Parker! How's your sad and lonely life?" Flash said giving Peter a fake pout. Peter had been bullied by Flash ever since Peter proved Flash wrong on a math problem and ever since he found out Peter was an "orphan". It was true, Peter's really parents died in a plane crash when he was little but he had a home with the Avengers. And they were more than he ever needed.
"It's nice Flash." Peter said back. His dad had told him that he wasn't allowed to tell anyone that he was a Stark or he could get hurt. And Peter didn't want his daddy to worry so his dad set up a fake profile for him. "Shut up Parker. No one cares about you anyway. No wonder your parents left you. They probably couldn't stand being around you." That hurt. Ned flashed him a sincere look but said nothing. Peter got up only to be knocked back over after Flash shoves him. "Wow. Looks like Puny Parker is such a loser he can't even fight back." Peter felt tears stinging his eyes and he quickly turned to walk away. "Hey. I didn't say you could leave." Flash grabbed Peter's shoulder and punched him right in the eye. Peter cried out and fell to the ground clutching his eye. Flash laughed and took his friends and all started chanting puny parker. Ned grabbed Peter and pulled him up walking away.
"I'm sorry Peter. I would've done something."
"It's okay. You don't need to be bullied anymore."

"Thanks Peter. Happy is here by the way."
Peter looked up and saw Happy standing near the entrance of the school. He pulled up his hoodie and walked quickly to the car, said hi to Happy and sat in the back. "Kid? What's up?"
"Nothing Uncle Happy. Just tired." He said.
Happy looked at him with a concerned look but said nothing and started driving. Happy sent Tony a text and continued to drive to the tower.

Tony looked at his phone and saw a text from Happy. 'Somethings up with Pete. He hasn't talked the entire car ride.'
Tony frowned at the text gaining the attention from Steve.
"What's up Tony?"
"I don't know Capsicle. Happy said that Peter isn't acting like himself."
Steve frowned and went to go get Bucky. Bucky's cookies always cheered up the kid. While Bucky was making the cookies, the rest of the team started to play Mariokart. They all looked to the door when the elevator dinged. They all smiled as Peter walked out but all smiles disappeared when Peter ran straight past them all sobbing and ran into his room. "Peter? Can you come to daddy?" Tony yelled out. Peter didn't answer. "Bucky made cookies."
Peter slowly creeped out of his room once the smell of chocolate chip cookies wafted through the air just to make sure his dad wasn't lying. Peter sat on the couch and nibbled on a cookie but remained quiet. "Peter? What happened?" Natasha asked. "...nothing".
"Why are you wearing your hood still" Clint asked.
"Because I'm cold."
"But it's not cold."
"Well I am."
All the Avengers exchanges concerned glances. Peter never acted like this. "Peter take off the hood" Tony said. "No." "Excuse me?"

Wanda used her power and quickly pulled off the hood. They all gasped and started to yell about who did it. Peter protested but Clint came behind him and hugged him. He fought at first but quickly calmed down and started shaking. "Daddy?" He whispered. Tony took Peter out of Clint's grasp and hugged his son. Peter shook while he sobbed and all the Avengers watched in horror as their nephew cried. Tony felt tears in his eyes, "Bud? What happened at school?" Peter sniffed. "He...he said that...that my mommy and daddy left me because they couldn't handle me. And that..that I have a sad life being an orphan." Peter sobbed into Tony's shoulder as all the Avengers went from shock, anger, and sadness. Their nephew didn't deserve to be treated like this. They all hugged Peter and sat him on the couch. They all watched the star wars movies and all smiled as Peter fell asleep between Tony and Natasha.
The next day, Tony called the school complaining about the bullying. Flash was suspended for a week and he didn't bother Peter after. (Well until high school;) Peter smiled when his family watched the whole series with him. He laughed when Sam and Steve yelled at each other in Mariokart, and laughed when Bucky let him bake the cookies. Peter had a loving family who would protect him no matter what.
