《QUIRKY! (MHA x Reader)》S2 Part 20 - Taken

You felt much braver when you were back in the fire.
Now, you were in the dark woods again with this tall, scary guy glued to your side. He kept his hand wrapped around the back of your neck as you walked.
Very comfortable...
"You know," you wiggled make a little room but he tightened his grip, "I'm cooperating so maybe we can do without the whole restraining thing?"
"Not a chance," he said coolly.
"Fine," you sighed. Really, you were just anxiously waiting for him to barbecue you.
No one saw you leave, except for Kota, but it didn't seem like your captor was worried about being followed anytime soon. Hopefully, the others were okay. You weren't given time to see how it turned out for Izuku or Aizawa.
At least Kota was safe, for now.
To be honest, you were nervous to even look this guy in the eye. Maybe it was the scars, or that he was a villain, but he was also kind of attractive in an intimidating way. So when you felt his eyes peering down at you, your shoulders tensed.
He was a good few inches taller than you, so he lowered his head to be level with yours. Your cheekbones nearly touched and you imagined feeling one of his many cruel staples graze your skin, "Don't you want me to touch you? Isn't that how your quirk works - then you can make your great escape. Or maybe I'm not as pretty as the other boys."
The thing was...
His energy sucked.
Much like Shigaraki, you couldn't get a grasp on his power. Shigaraki was like an empty void, but this guy felt more like a frail, burning ember you couldn't revive. Your quirk clawed at his fingertips, begging for sustenance, but left unsatisfied.
That didn't make sense to you, since you knew other holders of fire quirks with tons of energy. Was his damaged skin getting in the way of your quirk? If so, the odds of you fighting your way out of this once you found Shinso and Bakugo weren't looking too good. You would be trapped in a den of monsters you couldn't leech from...
You swallowed and composed yourself, "I'll escape without your help, thanks."
He scoffed, "Yeah, sure. That's the hero spirit."
You snuck a glance once he pulled away. It bothered you that he felt so familiar. Was it his voice? Face? It was hard to tell considering all the burns.
His eyes?
"Thinkin' about kissing me now?" He asked.
"Huh... no! Gods!" You snapped, "What do they call you, anyway..."

"Dabi."
That's helpful. You huffed - assuming that wasn't a family name.
"I guess it's good for you to learn the names of your new 'friends'," he said.
"Yes, my long list of friends I'll show to the police."
"Hmph, charming. At least you're not completely insane."
Maybe he was talking about the blonde girl, Toga. Remembering your encounter made you shudder.
Call it nerves, but you couldn't seem to stop talking, "Does Shigaraki really expect this to work? I get kidnapped and then I'm magically ready to sell my soul?"
"It doesn't matter," Dabi said, "All I know is it'll be easier for you if you give in."
"That sounds rapey..."
He smirked, "I could see that crusty bastard being a pervert."
You cringed.
"What's wrong? Don't want to be his little fuck-toy?"
You took a deep breath. I want to kill this guy. I want to kill this guy. Think about Shinso. Think about your friends...
"We're not that pathetic," Dabi added.
You looked up at him, "Um?"
He sighed, "We don't just want a hot piece of ass is what I'm saying. I know your views on villains are limited."
"Dabi! And, girl. "
"Not you again," you groaned.
Twice was waiting for you both in a clearing. You looked around warily, hoping to not see that crazy chick.
"That's a warm welcome if I ever heard one. !" He pointed his finger as if scolding a child.
"Is Compress on his way?" Dabi asked.
"He sure is.
Good, you thought, sounds like the villains got what they came for and planned on leaving. You hoped that meant they would leave the other students alone.
Now came the hard part; coming up with an escape plan once you saved your friends.
"How did you get her to be so tame?! She beat the crap out of me when I tried to grab her. "
It was amazing to you that you read Twice's many facial expressions through his mask.
"She just needed to know the stakes," Dabi shrugged, rubbing the side of your neck with his thumb teasingly.
"Oh yeah, hitting the weak-spots. " Twice cheered.
You just glared. Chatting would distract you from your plotting. You didn't want to encourage Dabi's growing grin either.
It didn't take long for the next villain, Compress, to show up. However, he made a very sudden crash landing.
Just a few feet from you and Dabi, a masked villain in a theatrical suit and top hat fell hard from the sky, accompanied by some faces you knew well.

Izuku, Shoto, Shoji, and Kirishima.
(AN: I'm sorry - he totally would've come for you and Bakugo 🤣)
"Hey! I know those kids. "
"Deku?" You gasped, "How did you-"
Izuku's knee was digging into Compress's spine, but his head shot up when he heard you, "(Y/N)!"
Where the hell did you guys even come from?! And how!
Dabi sighed, "This place was supposed to be hard to find because of the flames and gas. Things never go according to plan, do they."
The pile of bodies scattered and everyone scrambled into battle-ready positions.
"Give back our friends, villains!" Kirishima said. He spotted you and his red eyes widened with worry, "Hang tight, (Y/N). I'm getting you and Bakugo out of here."
"That so?" Dabi challenged. Fire burned in his other hand, making you flinch.
What do I do?! Help them? Then I won't be able to find Shinso...
"(Y/N)!" Shoto froze Dabi's lit arm, "I'm right here."
It hurt your heart how he called out to you. He ran towards you and Dabi, waiting to see you break away. They didn't understand the situation. I'm so sorry, Shoto, you can't save me yet.
Dabi sensed your hesitation and grinned, "Kurogiri."
"Stop them!" Izuku cried. He was still so heavily injured and still made it all the way here.
Because he's a real hero, you thought, always has been.
Black fog crept around your feet. Your heart was pounding now, nervous and excited - but mostly terrified - to save Shinso from these creeps. You weren't looking forward to teleporting to the villain's hideout, or facing Shigaraki again.
Shoto was close now, and reached out to grab you. He didn't use his ice again, probably trying not to hurt you in the process. Your heart shattered, seeing the desperation in his normally cool eyes.
If only you had time to explain why you didn't reach back for him.
Dabi released your neck, but his arm coiled your waist instead. He pulled you into him and your face collided with his chest. Startled, your hands came up defensively, but ended up just grabbing his pecs.
!!!!!!!!!
"How sad," Dabi cooed, "Shoto Todoroki..."
There was so much commotion behind you, voices calling out your name, but you and Dabi slipped away into darkness and silence. Disappearing entirely through the warp gate.
Sound returned to you first.
It wasn't much, just distant city noises, muffled by thick walls surrounding you. Dull voices came from a room nearby.
Where were you exactly?
You felt comfortable enough. Soft material pressed against your face and cuddled your limp body. You must have been asleep just now.
What happened before you slept?
............
Your eyes opened and you shot up from your laying position. The room you were in was dimly lit by a computer screen and a lamp. It looked pretty bare otherwise but cozy enough to be someone's bedroom - that, and considering you were on a mattress.
Your gripped the bed sheets and rubbed the fabric between your fingers, confirming this was real and not a dream.
Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.
I've been kidnapped. I've been And I was asleep!
You sprang from the bed as if it was going to grab you - hitting the wall next to you in your eagerness. Clearly, no one had tied you up as your arms and legs were free.
Feeling paranoid, you checked to see if you were in your same clothing. Yes - thank the gods. No creepy pervert changed you into some skimpy underwear or anything.
However, seeing how dirty, singed, and bloodstained your shirt was, maybe lingerie wouldn't be so bad...
Your eyes shifted wildly about the room, looking for clues as to who the room belonged to. There wasn't much to go off of; a video game console, a dresser that you were too afraid to look through, a computer - but the lock screen was present, and a bed with black bed sheets.
Okay. Male in his twenties?
You knew you left voluntarily with the villains, but you were ashamed to admit you were scared. Uneasiness settled in the pit of your stomach. You forgot how to breathe, and when you remembered you started hyperventilating.
Calm down. Clam down. This is a power move. They want you to be scared and disoriented.
You had no idea when Dabi knocked you out, or whoever, but they left you in this room. Whose room, exactly? And why weren't you tied and gagged in a basement or something more threatening?
The doorknob to the room clicked. Someone was coming. You jumped violently and pressed yourself against the farthest wall, preparing yourself for anything.
Frightened tears threatened to come forth but you fought them back. When you saw the dark figure enter the room you hugged your arms around yourself just to hide the fact that you were shaking. They were in a black hoodie, but when they pulled the hood down you spotted the pale-blue hair right away.
"I thought I heard you stirring," Shigaraki said, no hand or mask covering his smile this time, "Good morning, (Y/N)."

Miracle Angeliva
Spirits, or what people usually referred to as ghosts, are something that has always been with us since ancient times. Some people are gifted to see them. However, most of us can’t see them without training. And without seeing them, we won’t believe. People only believe what they see, after all. However, I assure you, spirits are real. Spirits are always there. Just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean they are not real. Just like people of ancient ages who can’t see bacteria or those who can’t see stars further than eyes can see, there are limits to our technology. Similarly, even though the current technology can’t prove the existence of supernatural beings, that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. In the future, if we can develop technology so everyone can see them just like how a microscope helps us seeing micro beings, I believe everyone will believe it too. That being said, I still can’t prove their existence yet. -Raleigh Von Vlad Update daily (if possible, if not, guaranteed chapters are on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) Thanks to gej302 for the fantastic cover!
