You groan, feeling an immense amount of pressure on your stomach. You slowly open your eyes, looking down to see a tiny Bruno on top of you, still asleep. You sigh, ruffling your hair and reaching over to the table next to the bed for a clock. Lifting it up to your eyes, you notice the time. 8AM, that's pretty early.
You decide to just wake up, pinching Bruno repeatedly to get him to open his eyes. He groans, getting up and off of you. Upon inspecting your table further, you notice a pink sticky note on it. You lift it up, reading the words on it.
Clothes are in the drawer. Then walk down the staircase on the right and come to the dining hall for breakfast.
-Kai
You raise an eyebrow, eyeing the drawers below the table. You set the sticky note down before getting off the bed and opening the top drawer, not surprised to find a bundle of fresh clothes. There was a large black hoodie and some shorts which you assumed belonged to Kai, since there was no other woman besides you in this large place.
You walk over to the bathroom holding the clothes in your hands and muttering in annoyance when you couldn't see any fresh undergarments. You change quickly and freshen yourself up before slipping on the same boots you stole from a guard.
By the time you get out of the bathroom, Bruno is already sitting up, yawning. You put your hair in a high ponytail, analysing your face in the mirror before shrugging and walking out of the room with Bruno tracing behind you.
-
You enter the dining hall, looking at the lively faces before finding the table where Jungkook and Kai were sitting. You sit down next to Kai, not feeling quite comfortable to sit next to Jungkook after what happened the night before.
Kai smiles when seeing you, "Good morning. Did you sleep well?"
You nod, moving your gaze over to Jungkook who was sitting with his head in his hands, facing the table. When seeing him that way, you couldn't help but ask, "You good, Jeon?"

He shakes his head, lifting his head up so you could see his face. You flinch when seeing his face, noticing the dark circles and dead eyes. He sighs, "I'm dead. I don't remember anything that happened yesterday. I think I blacked out after drinking six bottles of Soju." He makes eye contact with you, "Did you come to my room last night?"
Mizuki slams his hands down on the table, eyes widening, "Y/N did what?!"
You flinch, breaking eye contact with Jungkook before grabbing some toast and shoving it in your mouth. Kai's eyes widen, "She didn't say no!"
Jungkook tilts his head to the side, "Ah, you did. I guess you're the one who gave me the blanket and turned the TV off. Thanks."
You nod, biting the toast and chewing rapidly.
Mizuki takes a seat on your left, eyeing the piece of toast in your hands intensely. He then proceeds to grab your wrist, pulling your hand closer to his mouth and taking a bite out of the toast.
Jungkook and Kai stand up, practically fuming. You swore you could see steam come out of their ears. Just as you yank your wrist out of a smirking Mizuki's hand, Jungkook stands up from his seat, walking around the table and over to where you were. He grabs your arm, lifting you up and dragging you so you were sitting next to him instead. Once sat down, he grabs the piece of toast in your hands, chucking it in the trash before taking a seat next to you.
Kai sighs, "Ignore him, he's a bit of a flirt."
Jungkook rolls his eyes, "Yeah, no shit."
Mizuki smiles wide, making eye contact with you. Your cheeks become pink and you look down at your lap, heart pounding at the close proximity between you and Jungkook. He raises an eyebrow at the fact that you refused to eat anything and didn't even look up at him. He slowly brings his face to your ear and mutters, "You're acting weird. Are you okay?"
You flinch at the sound of his voice in your ear, shutting your eyes and moving away from him. "N-no, I'm fine."

Jungkook couldn't understand what was wrong with you. He thought long and hard, and ended up coming to one conclusion; maybe something happened last night when you came to his room. He speaks, "Did anything happen when you came to my room last night?"
Shit, he knows, you think to yourself, heartbeat increasing every passing second. You hesitate slightly before answering, "No, of course not. Nothing happened. Why would anything have happened? You're making no sense, Jungkook, I swear."
His eyes narrow as he stares at you before saying, "You're rambling. That means something happened."
You sigh, figuring that he had caught you and there was no point in hiding it any longer. You slowly mumble, "You kissed me."
Jungkook's eyes soften and his head tilts to the side, "You wouldn't be acting this weird if it was just a kiss. What else did I do?" He leans forward.
You lean back instinctively, making eye contact with him, a nervous look on your face. You mumble, "No, nothing. Y-You didn't do anything." Jungkook notices how your voice became higher than usual, and his eyes narrowed further. He shrugs then, leaning back to his original position, "I know you're lying, but if you really don't wanna tell me then there's nothing I can do about it."
You sigh in relief, scooting away from him a little and beginning to eat breakfast. Jungkook sends you a side glance, an ounce of hurt being displayed in his pupils as he decides that he wasn't hungry anymore.
-
After eating, Kai decides to move everyone to another huge room with a large whiteboard and pens. "This is where Mizuki trains the army. In this case, we're using it to decide on what the plan is." He explained.
Once all the guards had been seated on the ground, you, Kai, Jungkook and Mizuki all walk to the front where the whiteboard was spread out. Mizuki takes in a deep breath, and that's when Kai motions you all to sit down as well. "Why?" Jungkook asks, "Shouldn't we help him?" Kai shakes his head, sitting down on the ground cross legged as you do the same. He explains, "Mizuki is in charge. We just have to listen."
Jungkook shrugs, taking a seat next to you and Bruno.
Mizuki shuts his eyes for a second, then opening them and taking a deep breath before starting, "As you all must know, all the people in South Korea have gone missing. The only ones remaining are the rich and elite class, such as friends of the late Chairman, CEOs of huge companies and other political characters. The reason they were not taken in by these creatures is very simple; their money. I couldn't help but do a little digging on this so called leader which drove the Chairman to commit suicide, and you will not be disappointed with what I found."
Mizuki then proceeds to walk over to a table in the corner of the room, picking up a large brown envelope. He walks bak to the centre, opening it and taking out a picture. He then sticks the picture on top of the whiteboard, pointing at it, "This man," He starts, "is not human, although he appears to be."
The man seemed to be wearing a black suit and talking to someone. The picture looked like it was taken in a club of some sort, with lights and drinks being displayed in the background. What's more, the man had normal looking eyes. You tilt your head, staring at the picture before mumbling, "He looks familiar."
You narrow your eyes, intensely watching the picture so you could memorise the face. The man had jet black hair, a sharp jawline and an earring hanging from his left ear. Although, there was something about his face that looked wrong; almost evil. Yet he still looked highly familiar to you.
Your eyes widen as you slam your fists down on the floor, standing up and pointing at the picture before shouting,
"Ji-Hyun?!"
