Before you knew it, the crowd was chanting, "Speech! Speech! Speech!"

Yoongi looked like he didn't wanna be there, but he forced a happy expression and took the mic from his dad, taking a deep breath before speaking, "Hello, everyone. I'm truly happy to be able to celebrate the moment I inherited the company with all of our trusted family and closest friends. It's a big moment for the Min Organization, and I am proud to say that I am looking forward to doing my job right and not disappointing my dad. Thank you!"

Everyone cheers, clapping loudly. Yoongi smiles small, handing the mic back to his dad before bowing, and walking away, slipping his mask back on as he did so. The lights come back on, and you and Jungkook hear Kai's voice from the ear pieces. "Ji-Hyun is here, I repeat, Ji-Hyun is here. He just walked inside the ballroom."

You nod, before mumbling, "Got it."

You look towards the entrance, seeing a man with a black mask walk in. From where you were, you couldn't make out what his eyes looked like but you assumed he wouldn't have come with those scary all black ones. Jungkook mumbles to you, "What's our plan, basically?"

All of a sudden, you hear a different voice on the ear pieces. "Don't approach him yet. Let him talk to a few people and then talk to him, it'd look suspicious if you didn't."

You recognise the voice as Mizuki's, and Jungkook groans, "Where have you been? We can't see you anywhere!"

Mizuki chuckles over the ear piece, and then he mumbles, "Look at the top of the stair case."

You both look up and see Mizuki, standing next to Yoongi, who also was staring at the two of you. His eyes were piercing into Jungkook, hands tucked into his pockets. With a final smirk thrown in your direction, he walks up the stairs. Jungkook's eyes narrow in suspicion, and he talks into the ear piece, "Why are you talking so openly to us when that Yoongi dude is next to you? He's staring at us. You just blew our fucking cover, you idiot-"

Mizuki chuckles again, waving his hand around which had a glass of wine in it. He speaks, "Don't worry, he's in on our plan too. How do you think I got the limos?"

Jungkook rolls his eyes and you chuckle, taking a random drink from the table next to you and taking a sip, waiting for what the night would bring.

After waiting for around 30 minutes, Jungkook and you decided to finally go up to Ji-Hyun. He was sat by the bar in the far left corner, drinking some light pink drink. You decided to go first, telling Jungkook to come later. You take a seat next to him, opting to just finish the glass of wine in your hand instead of ordering something new. Ji-Hyun gives you a side-eye, examining you from head to toe before smirking and looking back at his drink.

You take a sip of your wine, setting the glass down and groaning, getting ready to act, "This night has been so lame for me." You turn to face him, "You having fun?"

Ji-Hyun bites his lip, shaking his head before setting his drink down and turning to look at you, "Nah, it's not really my scene. I came cause the douchebag CEO decided he wanted me here."

With a nod of the head, you turn to face him, setting your drink down as well. You sigh, fixing your hair before speaking, "Why'd you come if the CEO was a douchebag?" You smirk.

Ji-Hyun chuckles, his deep voice hitting your ear drums roughly. This was wrong to you, his voice was never this deep. He looks at you, an eyebrow cocking up, "I came cause I knew a pretty lady like you would be here to keep me from getting bored." As he finishes his sentence, he lifts his hand up, setting his chin on his palm.

You felt like throwing up. Hearing your brother flirt with you was something you never thought about, let alone expected to happen. You swallow down your disgust with a gulp, forcing a flirty smile on your face before mumbling in slight annoyance, "I'm sorry but I'm here with someone tonight."

Ji-Hyun's smirk falls, eyebrow setting back to it's original position on his face. With a tilt of his head, he asks, "Where is this lucky gentleman?"

"Right here."

There Jungkook was, sitting on Ji-Hyun's right while you were on his left. Jungkook takes a sip of his drink before smiling bitterly, "Hi, nice to meet you." Not really, Jungkook thinks to himself.

You sigh, internally smiling at his jealousy even towards your brother. Ji-Hyun snorts, eyeing Jungkook down, "And you would be?" Jungkook knew he was asking for his name, and so he quickly decided to come up with one on the spot, using his father's instead, "Jonghyun. Jeon Jonghyun."

You clear your throat, watching Ji-Hyun's eyebrow go up in suspicion. Once the two males had directed their attention towards you, you stand up, gulping your glass down before smiling at the pair and saying, "I'll be back from the ladies room."

You turn around, walking away in the direction of the bathrooms. Once far enough, you mumble into the ear piece, "Jungkook, get him drunk. Mizuki, stay close to Jungkook, he might just beat Ji-Hyun up."

You hear Jungkook's scoff and Mizuki's affirmative, "Roger that."

You climb up the stairs before turning right, looking at the sign for the ladies bathroom. You walk deep down the hallways before grunting in annoyance. You were lost. You decide to ask Mizuki or Kai for help, talking into your ear piece, "Guys, I'm lost."

You hear Mizuki's annoyed groan and Kai's scoff, and immediately widen your eyes in offence, "What, it's not my fault, the place is huge!"

Mizuki laughs, "Okay wait, I'll send Yoongi to come get you. In the meantime, yo-"

His voice cuts off, and static comes through the ear piece. You widen your eyes further, stopping and tapping on the little device in your ear, "Hello? Mizuki? Kai?"

The line goes silent, and this is when you notice just where you really were. You were in a long, narrow hallway, with many doors on each side. The whole space was dimly lit, and you could barely see the end of the pathway. You tap the device again, "Hello?! Jungkook?"

"He's not there."

It all happened so fast.

Your eyes widened at the voice behind you and you turn around, but before you could do anything, the man runs up to you, pinning you against the wall with his left arm along your stomach, his right arm lifting up to touch your chin. He smirks. You recognise him to be Ji-Hyun.

You grit your teeth in annoyance as Ji-Hyun slides his finger along your jaw, smirk never leaving his half visible face. In a matter of a second, he pulls your mask off, throwing it to the ground.

He smirks, "Long time no see..."

"...Kim Y/N."
