The battle was tough and seemed almost endless. You were covered in injuries and bruises by the middle of it, but at least you weren't dead; you decided to be optimistic about the whole situation.

You finish off another demon, eyes flying over to see how Yoongi and Mizuki were doing. Your eyes widen when you see them standing back to back, two large heaps of bodies lying in front of them. When looking at their faces stained with black coloured blood, you realised these weren't the normal Mizuki and Yoongi that you grew to love and be friends with. No, these were monsters, monsters with evil looks of excitement on their faces. You could almost see them resembling Yun, with their dead, soulless eyes and dark features.

But as you stare closer, their eyes fall upon you, and those looks are changed instantly to soft, welcoming gazes of pure innocence, the smirks being replaced with comforting smiles. Your eyes widen further as you realise this was the real them, not that glimpse of a monster you just saw. The real Yoongi was kind, the real Mizuki was playful. They were cruel to those they hated, not to those they didn't know or those they loved. They didn't resemble Yun at all anymore, and a smile spreads on your face when looking into their changed eyes.

But then a sudden thought hits you, and you begin to look inside the large building, around the room. You hadn't seen Yun, the leading demon for a while and were beginning to get suspicious. You scoff when thinking of the possibility that he fled the scene, leaving his henchmen to do the work.

No, you think to yourself, he wouldn't do that. He's evil but he's definitely not a pussy.

While they were running up the stairs, Jungkook felt uneasy. He felt an unknown presence coming from behind them and couldn't help but turn around every five minutes in suspicion. He couldn't understand what it was.

After finally getting sick of the persistent feeling he stopped dead in his tracks, turning around and looking at the other three before speaking, "I'm gonna survey some ground downstairs, I just don't feel good about leaving so quick. You guys go and I'll meet you up there in a while."

Although Namjoon was hesitant at first, the man eventually gave in when seeing Jungkook's stubborn expression. They nod before continuing up the stairs and leaving Jungkook standing there.

Jungkook loads his gun, turning around on the stair case, weapon pointed in front of him. He slowly begins to walk down the steps, looking left and right each time. His eyes narrowed when he felt the presence again, but couldn't put his finger on it.

He walks deeper and deeper down, gun outstretched in front of him and eyes burning with impatience. He licks his lips, setting his gun down and concluding that he was just imagining things, and it was probably his mind playing tricks on him. He rolls his eyes at the fact that he wasted so much time on what he assumed to be serious, but turned out to be nothing in the end.

But, Jungkook felt it again. This time from behind him. He immediately spins around, gun clutched in his hands and pointed at whatever he thought was there. He groans when seeing nothing behind him. "Where are you?" Jungkook says to himself, eyes scanning over the endless number of stairs in front of him.

"Right here."

Jungkook's eyes widen at the voice, lifting his gun up and turning around but being too late. The gun was knocked out of his hand and he was kicked to the floor with an immense impact. He rolls down the stairs, body curled up before landing on the same floor where they started; right at the bottom. He groans in pain, feeling his whole body screaming in agony at the sensation. It hurt.

Just before Jungkook could get back up, a cloth is put over his surprised mouth. He tries to resist, but it was no use, there was something holding his hands and feet so they couldn't move. In a matter of seconds, Jungkook felt his body go numb and his vision hazy.

The last thing he saw was Yun's smirking face before his eyes shut and body fell limp.
