You immediately run inside the room Kai had prepared for you as soon as you reach the building. You did feel happy about the success of the mission, but you were still heavily annoyed at Jungkook. You had ignored him the whole ride home, focussing on getting your back to stop hurting as much as it was instead of the boy who tried so desperately to get your attention.
You enter your bathroom, freshening up and changing your clothes. You tie your hair up, analysing your eye bags and sighing. You feel another pang of pain hit your back, and you wince, clutching your side tightly. You decide to slowly lift your shirt up, turning around and twisting your head back so you could see what the state of your back was like. You gasp when seeing the sight in the mirror.
Blue and purple coloured the majority of your back in a dark bruise, the occasional red making an appearance as well. It was bleeding from countless areas, and looked as if you had got run over. You click your tongue in annoyance, lifting your free hand up and pressing a finger on the bruise. You immediately pull your hand back, groaning at the pain.
You pull your shirt back down, choosing to ignore it until it eventually healed itself.
You walk out of the bathroom, almost having a heart attack when seeing a person sitting on your bed, waiting for you. You roll your eyes when realising it was Jungkook, not knowing what to say. He had a white coloured box in his hands, and was staring intently at you. You clear your throat, staring at the floor before mumbling, "Uh, can you leave? I was planning on sleeping a bit more."
Truthfully, you knew that Jungkook hadn't really done anything wrong. You and him had originally despised each other, so he probably didn't think much of spying on you. You appreciated the fact that he didn't actually give in and report your every move to that demon, but your emotions had gotten the best of you at the time. You knew you had overreacted, which is why you were feeling so awkward and didn't know what to do.

Jungkook clears his throat, setting the box down on your bed and standing up. He walks over to you, sternly grabbing your arm and pulling you towards the bed. Your eyes widen as you speak, "What are you doing? Stop."
Jungkook stops in front of the bed before placing his hands on your shoulders and pushing you down so you were sat on it. You look up at him, confused. He slowly speaks, "Take your shirt off."
Your eyes widen, mouth gaping open, "Jungkook, are you okay? I'm supposed to be mad at you, you can't just ask someone who's mad at you to take their shirt off." You place both your hands on your chest protectively before continuing, "You're scaring me."
Jungkook rolls his eyes, irritation taking over his features before he speaks, "Tsk, don't take it off then, just lift it up."
Your eyebrows furrow further as you utter, "Huh?!"
Jungkook, having had enough of your stubbornness climbs on the bed behind you, pulling the white box with him. He slowly lifts up the hem of your shirt as you squeal, turning around and smacking his hands. Jungkook grabs your shoulders, turning you around before mumbling, "Just trust me."
Somehow, after listening to those words, you comply, sitting straight and not interrupting him any further. Jungkook smiles softly, the smile immediately falling after lifting up your shirt and seeing your bruised and battered back. He clicks his tongue, letting the fabric fall as he opened the box on his left, taking out a cotton swab and rubbing some ointment on it. He slowly lifts the shirt back up, using his right hand to disinfect the cuts all over your back. You flinch, pain hitting you all of a sudden as you realised what he was doing. Jungkook holds on to your shoulder, as a sign for you not to move too much. You stifle your movements, even though it was burning. With a sigh, Jungkook asks, "How did you manage to get this beat up?"

You take in a deep breath, remembering the way the demon flung you across the clearing. You grumble, "One of them managed to throw me and my back hit a tree."
Jungkook scoffs, slight anger taking over him. Exasperated, he speaks, "I thought I told you to be careful." You smile softly before mumbling, "Yeah, says the guy who momentarily died on me."
Jungkook chuckles, glad that you were at least back to joking around and weren't ignoring him anymore. You feel guilt hit you like a ton of bricks upon realising how Jungkook was actually taking the time to treat your wounds after you had slapped him across the face. You slowly speak, "You don't have to do this for me, you know."
Jungkook smiles, shaking his head as he finished cleaning up. "I want to do it." He says, taking out a long roll of bandage. He continues, "Stand up."
You do as he says, standing up and lifting your shirt up along with you. You lifted it up till just below your chest as Jungkook wrapped the bandages around your abdomen. He finishes up, pulling your shirt down and smiling to himself.
You look up at Jungkook, heart fluttering as you saw him smile. "Thanks." You say, staring into his eyes. Jungkook shrugs it off, mumbling, "No problem."
You feel your heart drop to your stomach in guilt when the scene of you slapping him comes to your mind again. You slowly utter out, "I'm sorry for slapping you, Jeon." Jungkook's smile falls before he speaks, "I deserved it."
You see the red mark on his cheek where you had slapped him. You were surprised, you didn't realise you had hit him hard enough to leave an actual mark. You felt even worse now. You grab his arm, pulling him to sit down on the bed before speaking, "My turn."
Jungkook raises an eyebrow, watching you carefully as you took some ointment out, rubbing it onto the cotton swab before pushing yourself closer to him and dabbing it on his cheek. Jungkook's eyes soften, heartbeat increasing as he realised how close your faces were. You finish off, putting a bandage on it before smiling to yourself at the finished product. Your faces remained close, breaths entangled with each other's.
For a moment it was silent as you stared into his eyes, watching his brown irises as they swirled into a mix of different shades. You took note of every single detail on his face, but ultimately your gaze ended up falling to his lips. Jungkook refused to hold back anymore, cupping your face in his hands and pressing his lips onto yours.
