《Foster Brothers | COMPLETED》Ch. 6 - Shop Until You Drop

"Please, please, please," the boys begged me.
"I'm not good with kids. What if I drop her?" I asked them.
"The girls and our mother will be there," Elliot said.
You might be wondering what's going on, right?
Well, it's Saturday, and Lisa, the girls, and I are going shopping for clothes. You know, the usual stuff we were going to do at the mall.
Shop. Eat. Shop. Shop. Eat, again. Shop. House.
Anyways, the boys have plans today. Now that was whatever, but Brent couldn't come because he was babysitting his little sister. So, the boys told him that we can watch her for a little while.
And I don't mind her coming, but I'm not good with kids, like at all.
I don't know what they like, or what they need. I seriously don't know how I'm going to raise a kid.
"Campbell, she's four. Plus, she's a sweetheart," Nick added.
"She can come, but I'm worried about saying the wrong thing. I don't want her to hate me," I told them, pacing back and forth.
"You'll be fine. Whatever you do, don't bring up their parents. She gets really sad," Michael said.
"Okay, but-" I said, but I was cut off by the door opening.
Brent walked in holding hands with a little girl. Her brown hair was in a french braid with a white bow. She was wearing a black and white stripped dress, black tights, a gray fur vest, and black uggs. She looked adorable.
"Nessa!" The boys exclaimed.
She ran to them, and Elliot picked her up. The boys seem really close with her.
Well, Brent has been their best friend since they were kids.
"I learned some letters in class yesterday," she said with a smile.

Her smile is so cute! My heart is melting!
"Mom, Vanessa is here!" Gaberial yelled for Lisa.
Vanessa. That's a cute name.
"Okay, I'm almost done," she called from upstairs.
I felt eyes staring at me, but when I looked around, I found nobody staring at me.
Weird.
I felt a tug on my jacket sleeve. I looked down to see Vanessa. She was looking me up and down.
"Are you Breny's girlfriend?" She asked, and I blushed.
The boys snickerd, and I saw the shade of pink on Brent's cheeks. I looked back down at Vanessa.
"No, I'm Campbell. I live here," I told her.
She looked back at the boys with an evil glare in her face.
"Guys, you never told me that you had a sister," she said, clearly mad.
"Well, um, she's our foster sister," Nick said.
"What does that mean?" She asked, curious was written all over her face.
"It means that I didn't have anyone to take care of me, so Lisa and Ross took me in," I told her, trying my best to explain this to a four year old.
"Where is your mommy and daddy?" She asked.
I looked at the floor, not wanting to meet the seven pair of eyes watching me.
"Okay, I'm all ready to go," Lisa said, walking down the stairs.
"The girls are going to meet us at the mall," I told her.
"Alright, boys be here by dinner. Be safe. Now, we are leaving," Lisa told the boys, even Brent.
"Bye," they said while we walked out of the house.
We walked to Lisa's car, and she placed Vanessa in her car seat. Then I jumped into the passenger seat, while Lisa sat in the driver's side.

"So, what's your style?" Lisa asked me, a few minutes later.
"Um, I really don't know," I told her truthfully.
"Well, you'll hopefully find out today," she replied.
"Hopefully," I repeated.
We drove for twenty minutes until we pulled into the mall parking lot. Lisa parked the car, and we got out.
Vanessa was holding Lisa's hand while we walked towards the entrance.
At the food court. - The Gurls👑
Yes, the girls and I made a groupchat.
"They're at the food court" I told Lisa.
"Alright, Vanessa, are you hungry?" She asked Vanessa.
"No Miss Lisa. Breny feed me pancakes this morning," she said.
"Okay, we'll get something later," she replied, walking to the food court.
We walked to the food court, and we saw the girls sitting on a bench. They already had shopping bags, espically Madison.
"Thank goodness you are here. Madison just bought almost everything in Rue21," Nichole said.
Madison gasped. "I didn't not. I bought one-quater of the store."
"Hi, Nessa," Anna said.
"Anne," Vanessa yelled, jumping into Anna's arms.
"You never told me you were good with kids," I said, refering to the little girl in her arms.
"What can I say? I'm a natural," she remarked.
"Come on, or else we're going to miss the good stuff," Madison said.
"Okay, girls, let's go shopping," Lisa said, and we cheered.
"To Forever 21!" Madison ordered.
Time to shop.

By the time we got to the food court, I felt like I ran a ten mile run. I was out of breath, and so was Nichole.
"Why....did....we....go....to..every...store....on this.....block?" Nichole asked, out of breath.
"Please, we're not even a quater done," Madison said.
"You guys need to run alot more. Vanessa is not even tired yet," Anna told us.
"Because she's in a cart," I said.
"And she has new toys to occupy herself" Nichole added.
"Here is the food," Lisa said, putting two trays on the table.
We grabbed our food, and we ate while talking about tv shows and movies.
It actually feels nice to have girls to hang out with.
And I wouldn't trade it for the world.
